Request reason:

I see this block will be lifted the 19th of January. I have no qualms with that, since that is two days from now and have no need to edit the encyclopedia. After checking the contribution logs for this IP address, I am wondering if when the block is lifted, we can block mobile edits and only allow desktop edits? Many of the vandalizing edits originating from this IP address are mobile edits from mobile devices, and the majority of these edits typically constitute vandalism. I believe that would prevent much of the vandalism originating from this IP address. I am as sick as ever of this happening over and over again. If a student is really serious about making a helpful contribution to Wikipedia, they will still be able to in this scenario; however, I believe this is in the best interest of Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

Unfortunately it is not possible to only block mobile edits. Huon (talk) 21:32, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
