Quick Question
Hey APK, hope all is going well with you. I was wondering if your travels (either during the holiday season or in the near future) will take you to or through Harrisonburg. I am trying to get a confirmation on a radio station that switched formats, but I can't hear it from here. If you are going to be going through Harrisonburg, please let me know. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:28, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
- I won't be traveling this Christmas (I'm working today and tomorrow), but if we're heading south for some reason in the near future, I'll let you know. Hope you have a Merry Christmas! APK whisper in my ear 10:29, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

Please look into vandalism on the page Kashmiri Muslims by IP 77.8.92.117
I have tried to discuss the differences that has lead to edit war between me and this editor with IP 77.8.92.117. But editor with 77.8.92.117 continues with vandalism. Here is a link of the Talk Page : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Kashur99 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kashur99 (talk • contribs) 16:55, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- I see you've now been blocked for edit warring. You and the other user need to discuss the changes at Talk:Kashmiri Muslims once your block has ended. You two have gone back and forth on each other's talk pages and in edit summaries, but not a single word has been spoken at the appropriate venue, the article's talk page. APK whisper in my ear 18:38, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- In short, we had one user (77.8.92.117) fighting against a sockfarm; since I don't know which side is making better edits (it's a topic about which I know virtually nothing), I'll support this IP's fight against someone who obviously doesn't care about our policies. Artaxerxes II
In the article about about Artaxerxes II there was material about about Artaxerxes I which does not belong there. See talk page. I removed it but you reverted my changes. Why?--216.48.176.5 (talk) 21:16, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Because it looked as if you were removing cited content. Your edit summary was "removed sections pertaining to Artaxerxes I" and I thought it said "removed sections pertaining to Artaxerxes II". My apologies. APK whisper in my ear 21:20, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

- Hello. This question has already been answered when you asked other users in 2007 and 2013. You're spamming your website and inserting the address into an article. That's not allowed. (see WP:SPAM and WP:COI) The fact you've registered "Highly Sensitive People" is irrelevant to the article. Thank you. APK whisper in my ear 22:13, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Your edit on Skin Game (The Dresden Files)
Say, APK, where in WP:MoS, is it written that collapsible boxes are to be put before the "External links" heading? 'cause I have looked and have found nothing. If there's something, I'd like to be brought up to date, if there's nothing, it would be useful to agree on this detail before we start counteredit each other because we each think we're right and the other's wrong. Thanks! MinorStoop (talk) 08:32, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
- Oops! I didn't mean for the box to be above the EL section, my bad. But the EL section should come after the References section, per MoS. (just look at any FA, they all follow this layout) APK whisper in my ear 14:28, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

I owe you a big apology so I will start with that. Some of my comments (and a specific post) were really wrong, and mean spirited, and I am really sorry. It has been a hard week, I lost something really close to me, and it was overwhelming. I am truly sorry. Keep up your photographic efforts, I have reviewed many of your building photos and your are doing a good job. - You out in Winchester now? Nice area. I don't know if you keep up with the NRHP listings for DC, but there have been some additions over the past year that have not yet, to my knowledge, had articles written about them. If you're interested in working your magic...
- Also, if you're looking for places to go on a photo-tour, there are a lot of things in the Shenandoah Valley which need photographing. I've done what I can in Rappahannock and Madison Counties, but there are a lot of gaps that want filling. (Had a chance to photograph this property from the road below it, but I didn't know it for what it was and so let it lie. It's a fascinating house - maybe someday I'll expand the article on it a tad.)
- Incidentally, I saw your exchange above on the subject of DYK. I'm sorry to agree with you (well, not because it's you, but because of the subject), but I do...I stopped contributing there long ago because it became more trouble than it was worth. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 19:52, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, my partner and I moved to Frederick County in 2013. (it's a big change from Dupont, that's for sure, but he's from this area) I'll take a look at some of the more recent D.C. listings when I finish my current work on D.C. Civil War monuments. I noticed there are a lot of Shenandoah Valley articles that need photographs. When I have more free time (and when it's warmer), I hope to take more photos. I was in the hospital for two months (July-August) and didn't start back at work until November, so I'm still kind of in recuperation mode and not going out much other than work and necessary errands. About DYK, it would be nice if the process was more simple like in olden days. I enjoyed contributing and reviewing articles there. APK whisper in my ear 22:15, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- I know points farther south myself, more than Frederick County - let me know if you need any suggestions for stuff to look at down in the Valley. I can think of a lot of stuff there that wants looking at, improving, that sort of thing. I suspect there's a lot in Clarke County that needs to be photographed.

Samir Becic (subject of a delete in 2012. Has literally 50 sources independent of him in major US and German newspapers and fitness trade journals)
APK,
You're on to something here. I'm not saying Kino's off or wasn't right in 2012. But A LOT has changed in three years-- especially independent, third-party press coverage in secondary sources for Samir Becic. It was premature to delete by fiat the page, now, in 2015. Can you please help me lobby this through?
I am politely requesting that you review the Samir Becic article at AFC and bring it live.
I posted the below on Kino's wall, especially given his clear "spite" towards "SPAs" and "IP" users. We're people too. Some of us are damn smart, too, and know Wiki rules with a quick read. This page should be live man.
== I get it. Some people are legit and not legit. Some people are "Too Early." But this warrants a review. I'm a fellow Ivy Leaguer-- no I didn't go to Yale-- but you're not working with an idiot here. I'm a lot more like you than the rest of the general public. Help
I uploaded this image. It needs to illustrate line #44, Reese Street Historic District, in National Register of Historic Places listings in Clarke County, Georgia, but I can't get the formatting right. (Tables have never been my forte here.) Help? LadyofShalott 00:42, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- No problemo. APK whisper in my ear 04:20, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, I swear I thought I tried exactly what you did, and got a wrong-looking result. Oh well. LadyofShalott 16:22, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- :-) You're welcome. APK whisper in my ear 17:15, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
I've barely started a draft in my userspace for Hill FBC. I wonder if it might be better to do the whole district though. Do you have any experience with articles about districts, rather than discrete properties? LadyofShalott 17:46, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- The only district articles I've started were stubs back in 2008/2009. I've found, depending on the nomination form, there can be an overwhelming amount of information about lots of buildings (the more recent listings tend to be more thorough, like this novel for Washington Heights Historic District). So I've found it confusing as to where to start. :-/ That's why I usually stick to individual listings, minus these Civil War monuments I've been writing. The nomination form for the Reese Street Historic District is a short one though, so you might have a much easier time writing it. (not saying you couldn't write a great one using a long form, natch) APK whisper in my ear 19:06, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for that link! (How do you find those?) I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed - district or just the church, but either way, that helps. LadyofShalott 16:01, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- Look on my user page under "easy links" and you'll find this one. It's a great tool by User:Elkman that provides links to NRHP nomination forms (for ones that have been digitized by the National Park Service, that is), not to mention an infobox and other helpful content like categories, etc. APK whisper in my ear 16:06, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- I looked on the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Historic Preservation Division site and found this which should come in handy. APK whisper in my ear 16:16, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- @LadyofShalott: If you decide to write an article on the district, here's a start whenever you feel like it. APK whisper in my ear 23:25, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- Lovely! I will build upon that. Meanwhile, I've put a stub for just the church at Hill First Baptist Church. I'll try to improve both, figuring a merger can be done later or not as seems best. LadyofShalott 17:57, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
