- Sort of... You can't just make new fields for a template. You would have to go and alter the template first (and check that it does not screw up other Articles - best to discuss on the template talk page. The one you used (Template:Episode list) does not have a "EpisodeNumber3" field. Ronhjones (Talk) 21:29, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Fred,
You want to add |ProdCode= in the place of |EpisodeNumber3= and that will put the Production code number under the heading on the far right of the table. delirious & lost ☯ ~hugs~ 21:35, 9 February 2010 (UTC)- Striking what i wrote above as I mis-read the headings that you have on the table. There actually is no way to add a third column of episode numbering before the title of the episode. delirious & lost ☯ ~hugs~ 21:52, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- If there really is a need for three columns of episode numbering you could forgo use of templates and manually code the table. It is a more complicated but it would allow you the freedom to assign columns in the order you wish to as well as your choice of sizing. If you wish to see an example see The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire#Episodes where i chose to code it manually with a slightly different style.
- In my opinion the List of iCarly episodes does convey the information that i believe you are wanting to include. If you do redesign the list you would need to do it for each season for continuity of design. And i see that you have raised this issue on the talk page for the list of episodes so i will shut up now :P delirious & lost ☯ ~hugs~ 22:25, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Episode #
Okay This has been going on for mounths now. The list of iCarly episode # are a little bit of a mess. There are a total of 70 episodes produced for the series so far. Season 1 has 25 episodes, season 2 has 25 episodes and season 3 has twenty episodes. iDate a Bad Boy 217/225, iFight Shelby Marx 221-222, iQuit iCarly 233-234, and iPhyco 243-244 [when it gets put up, hidden right now] are counted as 2 episodes iGo to Japan is counted as 3 episodes. now this is if the episodes aired seperatly. now wheh the final 2 air for the season the count is going to go up to 63 or 64 episodes but it does not show that it is going to be 70 episodes. This issue as been brought up on the talk page many times but the issue has not been solved. in the Series Overview box it says season two has 25 episodes and if you look on the episode list it goes to 20. Also for season 3 it says 20 episodes but when all the episodes are put in it will go up to 18. Is there a wat to get this solved not on the talk page by several people quicker. The page has been protected several times because of this issue. Page protetion will be done for it's 9th time in two weeks. So is there a way to solve this issue much quicker then trying to wait for responses before protecton ends or is there a way to extend protection intill this is solved. The fourth season is scheluded to start production soon and is most likely going to have the same problem. I have also brought this as a task on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Nickelodeon. Please tell me what the next step is for this page. Checker Fred (talk) 23:54, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- 9 protections in two weeks?! If it's that bad of a dispute, maybe the dispute resolution process is worth attempting. I'm not sure...if this is something that's been fought over on the talk page without any results, then for sure go for dispute resolution. If it's actually had some progress made on the talk page, then it may be worth attempting to continue discussing first. Ks0stm If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. 00:45, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

- OK then. I've cancelled the helpme for now; I suggest starting a new section here, stating clearly and succinctly what changes you think should be made - and then invite others to state whether they agree to them or not. You could notify major contributors to the article on their talk pages, and additionally ask on the talk pages of relevant project groups. Hopefully by doing that, you'll be able to show a clear consensus here to make a specific edit, and then it can be done with no problem at all. Stick to simple suggestions, backed by reliable sources and wikipedia policy/guidelines; it might be easier to work on one simple uncontroversial set of changes at first. Best of luck; if you need more help with any of it, please ask again with another helpme on your own talk page, keeping the article discussion page for the actual content discussion. show fax
iCalry is going to be starting production for it's 4th season soon. One of the episodes have been revealed I Got A Hot Room. but soon the source will take away the episode http://www.showfax.com/type_selection.cfm?l=1&c=icarly after a few weeks. so how would I add the episodes to the iCarly list and not get it taken down. is there a way to do this. Also i know blogs are not a RS but the person who runs the site http://iicarlyy.blogspot.com gets the episodes from show fax as well. /Checker Fred (talk) 23:10, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Be careful
Be sure what you call "vandalism" is really vandalism. this edit was not. This is a content dispute. Note that calling edits vandalism when they are not can border on being a personal attack. Please resolve this dispute with the editors rather than continuing to revert. Thanks, Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 23:10, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Unprotection
Sorry about that ICarly note, it went on the wrong section as the section moved when I edited another one. However the list of episodes that wanted unprotected should get the opinion of User talk:AnmaFinotera. Non admins can still know why a page is protected. I am basing this on the comment added when the page was protected, which says to contact one of two people first. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:11, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

- It looks like the "add your name" link should be changed from Wikipedia:WikiProject PBS Kids/Members to Wikipedia:WikiProject PBSKids/Members to avoid the redirect issue.
- On a more general note, I urge you to keep in mind the "Keep markup simple" guidelines in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. The code on the Wikipedia:WikiProject PBSKids page is sufficiently complex that it's hard to tell at a glance what's going on, and it's not clear how much is gained by tweaking the Wikipedia style this way. I think this error would be more easily caught if the style was kept simpler. Tim Pierce (talk) 22:13, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

You reverted the "tween" reference, but can we leave the link to the wiki? I've explained why on Talk:ICarly. Thank you. -- Confession0791 (talk) 21:11, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Reason I undid your edits
There was a person who put useless stuff on the List of Phineas and Ferb Episodes page, so when you reverted it back to DJHerbie53's version, it came back, so I undid it, but you reverted it back, but with the vandalism, it was needed I reverted it back so there is no vandalism on the page. I am sorry for what I had done. 69.228.89.220 (talk) 22:49, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
And here is the reason why i undid it:
The boys build tree-houses for themselves and Candace with a little help from Heffer; Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans to use brainwashed pigeons to destroy a celebration in honor of his brother. But in the end, Rocko grabs a waterball from the girls and hit them really hard.
Rocko and Heffer are not from Phineas and Ferb, they are from Rocko's Modern Life. The bolded part is the reason I had to undo your edits. 69.228.89.220 (talk) 23:24, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
Okay For Rocko and Heffer I don't know what your talking about. I reverted to [2] to this version. The main reason it was reverted wasa because of lack of support. The episode you put on my page is most likey a season 2 episode. I reverted manny edits before the one you reverted. As far as the vandlism I made as mistake and hit that one instead of good faith.Checker Fred (talk) 00:02, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
The episode that was in question for the vandalism was Tree to Get Ready, a Season 1 episode. By the way, I am still 69.228.89.220, but with a user name. Isabella and Lego Liker (talk) 00:09, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

When adding links to material on an external site, as you did to List of The Suite Life on Deck episodes, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. AussieLegend (talk) 16:53, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Uh, why did you revert the season 3 part for the List of Phineas and Ferb Episodes page when there was a source on it? Disney confirmed it a year ago, so it should stay there, not be knocked out. The view may think that the show may end at the 2nd season and not watch at all if that was true. Reason for it? Isabella and Lego Liker Whatcha doin'? 18:56, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

List of FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman characters images
The images that you added to List of FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman characters were not added in accordance with several of Wikipedia's policies including, bot not limited to, MOS:IMAGE, WP:IUP, Wikipedia:Manual of Style (layout)#IMAGES, WP:NFC and WP:NFCC. I have edited the article so as to correct the numerous issues that existed. Generally, images should be right aligned to avoid breaking text flow, forced image sizes should not be used unless there is good reason to do so, captions should be used and non-free content should be used minimally and for specific purposes. I removed one image because it breached WP:NFCC, specifically because "its presence would [not] significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would [not] be detrimental to that understanding." I have added caption to all images. However, the captions on the images of the cast are only basic and the image does not sufficiently meet the requirements of WP:NFCC. To do so, the captions must identify the individual cast members. Failure to provide appropriate captions may result in these images being removed from the article. On a related note, File:Dan directing.jpg was removed from Dan Schneider (TV producer), and will be again (I notice that you've reverted![3]) because non-free images are not used in BLPs. WP:NFCC requires states, "Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose." Free images of individuals are availble or may be created so there is never an excuse to use non-free images in BLPs. Please do not edit war over these changes, they are being made in accordance with policies that you are required to comply with if you wish to continue editing Wikipedia. You have already breache WP:3RR today. It would not be in your best interests to do so again. --AussieLegend (talk) 20:01, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Big red error messages
When you cause a big red error message, as you did here, it's a good practice to either revert your own change or continue with your fix.—Kww(talk) 15:48, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Please use the preview button
Your latest edit is not only of completely inappropriate content (note that whenever you type "TBA", you are probably making a bad edit), you made half the article disappear by corrupting the table format. Use the preview button, correct your edits until you don't completely damage the article, and then press save.—Kww(talk) 15:51, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
I am just adding season 4 into the article, once I save it gives me the air message. also I am not even doing anything with the other seasons I am just coping the format. I did use the preview and it comes in red still it says I move out has a problem and I don't even see it. what I am doing wrong then. It is not doing this when the ip's are adding incorrect season 4 informationChecker Fred (talk) 15:55, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- With your references, you deleted a </ref> for no apparent reason that I can see: there are two back-to-back references there. Your syntax problem with Season 4 is an unclosed comment. If the content belonged in the article, I probably would have fixed it for you. Since the content does not belong in the article, because you have not provided any reliable sourcing, I reverted it. Please do not add this particular change back in until you have a real source.—Kww(talk) 16:02, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Jim Conroy
Why would the Jim Conroy article ever be deleted? Sure, I started it, but it's now owned by the commons. The level of detail and information within the article is directly related to the popularity of the actor and the information that is available on him. Are you hoping that I will do something about it? If grammar needs to be corrected, by all means have at it. --BKalesti (talk) 04:31, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

List of The Suite Life on Deck episodes and June 18, 2010
This date is not mentioned at the source you provided here. The hidden comment that you deleted is quite explicit, the citation must directly support the date. ie if I, or anyone else, clicks on the citation they should see "June 18, 2010" at the source provided. It's not there. --AussieLegend (talk) 00:32, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
MSN is a reliable source. Attempting to comment out cited content, as you unsuccessfully did here is inappropriate. If your attempt was based on a belief that these episodes are part of season 3, the problem is that we still do not have a cited date for the last episode of season 2 so we have to treat episodes as if they were part of season 2. Once we have a cited date, we can move these episodes to season 3. You should note that your edits left the article in a mess. If your edits don't work, revert them, don't simply leave the article as you did. It can be considered vandalism. --AussieLegend (talk) 13:40, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Could you please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources, Wikipedia:Copyrights and Wikipedia:External links? Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided states that "Links to blogs, personal web pages and most fansites, except those written by a recognized authority are links normally to be avoided. This edit added a citation from disneydreaming.com. That site states quite clearly at the bottom of the home page, "DisneyDreaming.com is a Fan Site and is Not A ©Disney Company and does not claim to be." Accordingly, it's not a reliable source and can not be used to support your date. Additionally, the video linked to from the website is a breach of copyright and can not be linked to as indicated at Wikipedia:Copyrights#Linking to copyrighted works. Perhaps it would be better to leave the date as TBA until such time as the episode has aired or, if you find what you think is an appropriate citation, seek advice on the article's talk page before adding it to the article. --AussieLegend (talk) 15:33, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Need so some help
Hey Checker, I was wondering if you can direct to a website that has information on TV production codes? Specifically to improve the Victorious episode list. QuasyBoy (talk) 14:58, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
don't know if this site will work http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?PAGE=sbSearch&SEQ=20100617111040&PID=gzG25dmrPLsyqDM_kwb-zIKALoXa. I know it works of a few iCarly episodes. well I am really not sure where else you can find the now since the show is done filming new episodes. itunes has a function (don't know if it works) looks like you have to be logged in.
- First, put Victorious in the search engine
- Next, pick the season you would want to find the production code for
- Pick the episode you want
- Right click on the episode
go get info
- Click on video at the top, when a little screan pops up
- Finnally, you should see episode id.
it is mostly current episodes that have aired. Were trying something different for iCarly season 4 this time. so maybe do showfax for season 2 when production begins. Checker Fred (talk) 15:14, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- The iTunes thing doesn't seem be working for me. I know I'll actually get it if I buy the episode. Where you able to get the prod codes from iTunes without buying episodes? QuasyBoy (talk) 15:30, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
yes I was able to get them without buying.Checker Fred (talk) 15:35, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- That's what I'm trying to do, But it's not working for me. When the preview video for the episode streams, all it shows is the show and episode title. QuasyBoy (talk) 15:38, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
