hi, I'm reviewing and will help as much as possible. Please double check references, isbn and dates. I'll go through too. Sometimes the citation tools give a different result to looking in the inside cover of book. Whispyhistory (talk) 14:18, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

Hi - can I be a real pain and, if you're happy with my revisions, beg you to update your FAC comments in the above to Support? I know it seems trivial, but it helps the coordinators if it's crystal clear that the reviewer is now satisfied. Thanks, and thanks again for the review. Best regards. KJP1 (talk) 15:26, 26 May 2018 (UTC)

My apologies, KJP1. I thought I'd done so; will fix right now! Chetsford (talk) 19:26, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
Absolutely no apology necessary and my thanks again. KJP1 (talk) 10:55, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

Hi Sir. I've worked on this article for quite some time now and every time I try to develop it and the submit it for review it is declined on the basis that there isn't enough refs and citations to prove notability of the subject. I have fixed the broken link which was a now defunct Who's Who Southern Africa website that listed only the notable South Africans. Its actually unfortunate that one can't ref with TV appearances to prove notability. Anyway, I need your help and your guidance. I've seen articles with only 2 references being published and of other non Notable south African bloggers like Alex Matthews. Help me make this article ready for publishing. Hello Mightyprof7. All of the WP:RS seem to be in relation to the subject's involvement in filming a video of an ANC member attacking a woman and, therefore, do not allow him to pass WP:BLP1E. The other sources are largely not RS (e.g. khethodavidson.gq,countryduty.org, etc.). Alex Matthews does appear to suffer similar issues and I've nominated it for deletion. African Parks

Just in case you have "pings" turned off, I wanted to bring Talk:African Parks to your attention. If you're not interested, that's no problem. Thanks again for your previous help. Inkian Jason (talk) 16:19, 4 June 2018 (UTC)

Inkian Jason - apologies, I totally missed your ping! I'll check it out this week if that's okay? Chetsford (talk) 23:22, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
Actually it was a great article so it didn't take too long to look at. I've implemented the rewrite. LMK if you have any questions. Chetsford (talk) 03:16, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
Thanks so much for your help. Inkian Jason (talk) 14:42, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

DYK

Hello! Your submission of Chief (horse) at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! North America1000 08:14, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

What do I need to do to prove John Hennessey's notableness, as it were? I feel like the claim that he isn't notable enough isn't grounded. He is well known in automotive circles and his builds have garnered heaps of media attention. The last article I submitted listed examples of those publications and it was marked for speedy deletion. I removed them. Now he isn't notable enough because the article doesn't have proof that he is notable? His Exorcist build holds a speed record for crying out loud and his builds are challenging European super cars builders. I apologize if I am being a bit short, but I feel like no matter what this is going to get kicked back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ramos.michael1 (talkcontribs) 14:37, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Ramos.michael1 - I've reviewed it a second time and, in my opinion, it's really on the edge. You certainly have reliable sources like Automotive News, New York Daily News, and Maxim, however, they largely contain merely incidental mentions such as quotes that are characteristic of WP:ROUTINE coverage. While the Hennessey Company is undoubtedly notable I'm torn as to whether John Hennessey is; right now there is not even been enough biographical coverage of him that we even know the most basic details about him such as his date of birth. But I do think this is really on the edge. It's not clearly and obviously a case of not being notable, but isn't exactly a slam dunk either. I'm going to ask for a second opinion. Thanks

Hi, Chetsford. I just wanted to thank you again for your help on the African Parks project, which is now completed and archived. I enjoyed improving Wikipedia's coverage of national parks, and appreciate your willingness to review proposed updates. On the off chance you're available and interested, I've drafted an expanded and improved version of the TravelCenters of America article for community review, but no one has responded to my requests for help at WikiProject Companies, WikiProject Ohio, or WikiProject Trucks. I've posted a request here, and I'm seeking editors to help with reviewing the draft, or even just the "History" section. Might you be able to take a look? If not, that's no problem, and I appreciate your previous help either way. Take care, Inkian Jason (talk) 18:17, 8 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi Inkian Jason - I just implemented your suggested changes. Another fine job. I had one minor issue with the photography which I've detailed on the Talk page. Let me know if you have any questions. I also won't be offended if you want to seek a second opinion regarding it. Chetsford (talk) 18:59, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
I am fine with your changes to the draft, and very much appreciate your assistance. Thanks again! Inkian Jason (talk) 19:29, 8 June 2018 (UTC)

Request on 07:17:49, 9 June 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Malabika.c

Hello!

I am not familiar with the encyclopedic format that you are referring to as I am contributing to Wikipedia for the first time on behalf of the subject as I felt that this subject must be a part of Wikipedia. I have already requested for help in editing the raw format that I have submitted to align it to Wikipedia's format.

Could you possibly help me formalize the article so that it meets Wikipedia standards?

"Could you possibly help me formalize the article so that it meets Wikipedia standards?" Hi Malabika.c - unfortunately, due to my schedule, I'm not able to provide free copy-editing services to the Aequs Pvt. Ltd. company. You might want to check-in at WP:TEAHOUSE for assistance or look into retaining the services of a public relations consultancy. Best of luck. Chetsford (talk) 07:28, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

Kevin Scott's article

Greetings! Can you tell me whether you agree that the cleanup issues with the article Kevin Scott (computer scientist) that you marked with this edit (include a link to the diff you found above) have been resolved? It looks like the article categories have been activated, and the Template:Authority control documentation says "An empty instance of this template stays dormant in an article, until values are added to Wikidata, when it will then display them, so this template should be added to all biographies, whether or not there are authority control identifiers in Wikidata already." so I think both are now used correctly. Agree? If so, would you be able to remove the cleanup template you added? Rnarula (talk) 23:43, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi Rnarula - looks good! Thanks - Chetsford (talk) 00:47, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

I have unreviewed a page you curated

Thanks for reviewing Maurice West, Chetsford.

Unfortunately Barkeep49 has just gone over this page again and unreviewed it. Their note is:

This was a blatant copyvio earlier by the same editor. Would suggest some sources and functional text be added before we mark it reviewed.

To reply, leave a comment on Barkeep49's talk page.

Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 05:38, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

Barkeep49 - the article is just a malformed infobox. The only actual content in it is the phrase "Maurice West" and the word "Netherlands," neither of which can be copyrighted. Chetsford (talk) 05:40, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
The page was deleted as copyvio earlier today.mThis is a new version of the same topic. I haven't done any searching so I trust by your edit that the person has a reasonable claim to notability. However given the malformed text and recent copyvio by the same editor I would suggest we hold off on letting Google index it. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 05:44, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
Barkeep49 - the fact that content in an article space was once a copyvio does not mean that any content ever added to that article space will also be a copyvio for all eternity. A copyright violation occurs when content in an article violates a copyright. The name "Maurice West" and the word "Netherlands" - the only functional content currently in this article space - cannot be copyrighted. Therefore, the article is not currently a copyvio. To the question of notability, my quick BEFORE indicated that the individual unambiguously meets the WP:GNG. That said, I've nominated it for PROD deletion anyway as per our WP:BLPPROD policy since it doesn't cite any sources and, honestly, I'm not really motivated enough to do more than a cursory BEFORE at this moment and formatting references and adding prose aren't something I can commit to right now. But, if it's still around before the PROD expires and the author hasn't fixed it I may take a pass at repairing it myself. Chetsford (talk) 05:50, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
Which has been blanked by the creator and now CSD G7 . I think you're missing my point, so I must not be explaining well. I don't think it's a copyvio now. I think that it is better left unnreviewed until content is added to ensure that a policy compliant page is what is indexed. If the G7 goes through all a bit moot just like to have clear communications with fellow reviewers. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 05:58, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
I think you're missing my point, so I must not be explaining well. Maybe. Chetsford (talk) 06:02, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
