[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello RandNetter96 I feel adding that source is important historical information? It provides evidence!

[edit]Copyright problem on History of the Jews in Kolkata
[edit]Content you added to the above article appears to have been copied from http://www.jewishcalcutta.in/exhibits/show/notable_members/sh_obadiah, which is not released under a compatible license. Reference merging
[edit]Hey David,
I just merged a large number of identical references on your article on Ezekiel Judah and quickly wanted to tell you about the tools Wikipedia provides to help avoid unnecessary clutter in this regard.
On an additional note, I also ask that you consider cleaning the search parameters from any links to Google Books before you include them in a citation. An extreme example would be a link like this:
https://books.google.com/books?id=TaZtAAAAMAAJ&q=Ezekiel+Judah+had+arrived+in+Calcutta+in+June+,+1838+from+Baghdad+,+where+he+was+married+twice+;+his+second+wife+was+Khatoon+,+daughter+of+Hakham+Aaron+Saleh+Gubbay+,+the+marriage+having+taken+place+in+November+,+1820+when+she&dq=Ezekiel+Judah+had+arrived+in+Calcutta+in+June+,+1838+from+Baghdad+,+where+he+was+married+twice+;+his+second+wife+was+Khatoon+,+daughter+of+Hakham+Aaron+Saleh+Gubbay+,+the+marriage+having+taken+place+in+November+,+1820+when+she
To resolve the issue and drastically improve navigability of your articles in source mode, simply remove everything following the base URL (which in this case is https://books.google.com/books?id=TaZtAAAAMAAJ), reload the page, and insert the resulting address (https://books.google.de/books?id=TaZtAAAAMAAJ&redir_esc=y) in the |url= parameter. And if you'd like to learn how to be even more elegant about citing books, I recommend reading up on the Sfn template.
Kind regards and thank you for your contributions, AngryHarpy (talk) 07:46, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your help. David Nahoum (talk) 12:16, 28 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm IamNotU. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Baghdadi Jews, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I realize these edits: [1] and [2], are from some time ago, but they're very concerning. You changed the population figure, twice, to numbers that seem to be just made up, while the source clearly states the original figure of 5,000. I haven't looked at any of your other edits, but I hope you've learned since then that you simply can't invent your own facts and present them as though they're found in a published source where they are not... Thank you. IamNotU (talk) 00:28, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
