A tag has been placed on Image:Marcus Davis UFC 80.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:Marcus Davis UFC 80.JPG|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Davis/Sakara[edit]

I had previously nominated your image of Marcus Davis for speedy deletion. I saw that you re-upped it, so I was going to nominate it again and warn you. However, after seeing your more detailed explanation for how it was taken, I watched the even again and realized that (based on the differences in camera angles) that it could not be a screencap from the PPV broadcast. If you really are Simon Patterson...then friggin' awesome pictures! They will be excellent additions to Wikipedia, and I thank you for releasing them under free licenses. Keep up the good work! Student protest at Millbank image[edit]

Nice one getting this image! I moved it to Commons, because it's freely licensed - File:Student protest conservative party hq.JPG - it works just the same on en:wp. No story on Wikinews yet, which would also love the image - you should write one - David Gerard (talk) 18:57, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
