Speedy deletion nomination of Kim Yong-ji[edit]

Hello, DynamiteIce,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Kim Yong-ji, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:58, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Xu Yiyang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable entertainer - no charting singles and finished 8th in a reality show.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 02:31, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Chungha, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. 🍊 Paper9oll 🍊 (📣📝) 04:41, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please don't go around and change Korean to Original, this is English Wikipedia not Korean Wikipedia hence Korean is the correct word/term to use. Paper9oll (📣📝) 10:21, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yang Yoo-jin moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Yang Yoo-jin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please stop going around and adding Hanja to the lead section, it should only be included in the lead section if the article doesn't have infoboxes. Please also stop removing headercolor=transparent from the infobox, it is not an improvement and is also not consistent with the background color of Infobox muscial artists module which is inherit (transparent). And also making child=yes onto newline, same as above it is not an improvement. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 09:36, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How is this vandalism ? DynamiteIce (talk) 10:49, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DynamiteIce: I told you to stop adding hanja to lead section, however you chosen to ignore it. As per MOS:KO#Introductory sentence, it should only include the English name (hangul name and prounciation if applicable). As per MOS:KO#Hangul and Hanja, it should only be included in the infobox. If the article doesn't have infobox, then it is okay to include it in lead section. I would however like to thanks you for adding headercolor=transparent however please stop adding hanja to lead section. I will self-retract the level 2 warning, however please don't add hanja to lead section else I will have to issue it again which I hopefully don't have to. Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Stop icon

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 23:23, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I am here requesting to be unblocked as I do not know why I am blocked. I have read the sockpuppet part but I am not a sockpuppet of that guy. I may have reverted the edit that may have seem to be a vandalism and I will not do it again. This is the only account I have and I promised so. I understand and will not disrupt any edits that other editors have made and I genuinely am just passionate about editing in Wikipedia. I really hope I can be unblocked and can continue editing. Thank You. 🥺🥺

Decline reason:

You'll have to do more than just deny it, as the editing patters are too similar to be a simple coincidence. 331dot (talk) 09:00, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello. Actually I have seen the edits made through the blocked log you guys are discussing about and I understand where you guys are coming from. The edits are similar based on the information there. I understand you guys! May I perhaps get a second chance and improve some articles and put it in my talk page and be given a chance? I really am passionate about editing and I want to make constructive edits! I hope to prove that I can contribute to the Wikipedia society. I know that I may have vandlised or made some disruptive actions by adding the Hanjas in the articles but I would not do it again. Also, I have learnt about the consequences of Sockpuppetry through this and I would not do it. I hope I can be unblocked as I want to contribute to the Wikipedia society! Request reason:

Hello, I do not know what does same IP range means, can I know what it is? To be honest I don’t really know what I can do now since I guess you guys have the “evidence”. I think this is not valid and cannot be proven but Wadamz was created like about a century ago, when I was just a little kid. I do not think this will help much, but it is okay. I am willing to cooperate and is there any way for me to be unblocked in anyway? Or I am unable to edit on Wikipedia anymore. I understand the reason why I was blocked and learnt a lot through this. Hope to hear from anyone soon on what I can do! I enjoy editing and it is nice to edit. I hope I can contribute to the Wikipeidia society and have learnt a lot. It is quite sad to see some articles I created being deleted haha! Hope to hear from anyone soon. Thank You and have a good day!!🥺🥺DynamiteIce (talk) 08:07, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The standard offer would be 6 months from the date of your block, which would be October 23rd. This does not however guarantee an unblock, this is recommended to show you understand the block, that there are no other socks of yours editing, and you do not edit Wikipedia in any fashion. At that point, we may consider an unblock. RickinBaltimore (talk) 19:42, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
