May 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Michaela Dietz, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 14:11, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reminding me about it. Fittnessdocs283 (talk) 14:16, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I came here to say the same thing. Please remember to add references if you are adding alumni to school articles. Thanks. Tacyarg (talk) 18:46, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Fittnessdocs283 (talk) 18:47, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Parkway West High School (Missouri), you may be blocked from editing. ☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 00:09, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. signed, Willondon (talk) 00:43, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Lyons Township High School. What are you doing? Your edit was undone as being unsourced, so you restored it with an edit that does not even mention the school. People actually check references that are added. Meters (talk) 15:11, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at El Toro High School, you may be blocked from editing. Please note that IMDB is not a W:RS; see WP:IMDB. In addition, please make certain that the sources you cite actually support the claim you add in the article. It is not sufficient to cite an unrelated source about an individual that does not support the claim (e.g., the school they attended). TJRC (talk) 15:59, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Harrison High School (Kennesaw, Georgia), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 00:00, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notables need sources[edit]

In this edit, you added Aditi Kinkhabwala to the article for East Brunswick High School. You added no source and there was no mention of her attendance at the school in her article. What source did you use to add this person as a notable? Why didn't you add the source, as required by Wikipedia's policy on Verifiability? Alansohn (talk) 21:25, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Same in this edit. It's a bio of Karen Finerman, but nowhere does it mention her attending that high school. TJRC (talk)
Also here. Are you even reviewing the references you are citing? TJRC (talk) 16:59, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also [1]. TJRC (talk) 17:06, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@TJRC:It's clear to me that the user is continuing to make claims that are unsourced or simply cited to refs copied from other articles without checking the links are working or actually support the claim. I've reported to ANI for a block, and if that doesn't work will escalate to ANI. Meters (talk) 19:07, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
