I just submitted an article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Chicago_Teacher%27s_Strike_of_2012
Should I take out the "Important, do not remove this line before article has been created," line at the top? Thanks. LM103 (talk) 22:19, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- My guess would be you remove that when you submit it for review, but I am not 100% sure. Let me find out and get back to you. Go Phightins! (talk) 22:30, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hello, if you are reviewing the article you should edit the template as so:
- {{AFC submission|t||ts=20120912221235|u=LM103|ns=5}} to;
- {{AFC submission|R||ts=20120912221235|u=LM103|ns=5}}
- If however you are waiting for this article to be reviewed, then simply remove the t parameter and the article will be reviewed in due course. Alex J Fox (Talk) (Contribs) 23:11, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for these last two edits: I accidentally clicked the wrong button and rolled back AlexJFox's comments by mistake. Nyttend (talk) 01:06, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Voceditenore (talk) 06:01, 16 September 2012 (UTC)The article Phineas Baxandall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No independent, reliable references (per WP:SOURCES) about Mr. Baxanall to be found.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bgwhite (talk) 08:24, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
DYK for Oregon State Penitentiary
[edit]On 30 November 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Oregon State Penitentiary, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that inmates at Oregon State Penitentiary, a maximum-security prison, once operated the world's largest flax scutching plant? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Oregon State Penitentiary. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Rejected Article
[edit]I don't understand why a page like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Association_for_Christian_Communication can have NO REFERENCES WHATSOEVER and yet the article I created for Stop Polygamy in Canada was rejected even though I have several sources referring to them and their information? I don't understand what more i can provide to make this article legitimate? or is there just some bias against providing people with information on certain organizations?CalgaryUmami (talk) 00:59, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
Editing of Ministry of Internal Affairs (Dagestan)
[edit]Hi LM103. Good work editing Ministry of Internal Affairs (Dagestan) so far! I don't know if you've heard of the Guild of Copy Editors, but we run backlog elimination drives every other month to copy edit outstanding articles tagged as needing copy edit. It can be a lot of fun, and you can earn barnstars for participation. You don't need to be a Guild member to participate, though we'd be glad to have you, and you can earn credit for this article too. --BDD (talk) 22:59, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
MfD nomination of Wikipedia:Department of Fun/Word Association
[edit]Wikipedia:Department of Fun/Word Association, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Department of Fun/Word Association and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:Department of Fun/Word Association during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you.. Thryduulf (talk) 14:24, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Rollback
[edit]Hi, LM103. I noticed your edits on List of tallest buildings in Cleveland, and was wondering if you would be interested in the rollback feature. Basically in one click you can revert vandalism even if the person has edited multiple times. Based on your contributions, such as the ones I highlighted above, these tools would be helpful. I can grant you this feature, so leave a note on my talk page if you're interested. Best, SpencerT♦C 19:12, 27 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
