Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Gualtherus Johannes Kolff, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless used with permission. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Rae Lim photo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 12:15, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Lastofthem! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:40, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lastofthem. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Lastofthem. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Lastofthem|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Liz Read! Talk! 07:09, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz: Which is the page you are referring to? If it is Draft:Dre’as Sanchez / Dre’as Sanchez, I had added the paid contributor tag based on the disclosure at the user page. Jay 💬 09:26, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Kingsborough Community College. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:58, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you sir, I will correct my mistake, I will be more consistent in the future Lastofthem (talk) 13:11, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Can you point me to your paid editing disclosures for Draft:Techunting? That was a lot of garbage SEO sources you used there, including the failed attempts to use blacklisted ones from abusive apsters fake SEO blogs. I see similar problems of junks sources at BraveJusticeKidsCo. and Dre’as Sanchez. Please respond. Sam Kuru (talk) 13:23, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, not paid, just colleagues asked to see an article whose employer’s draft cannot be approved, I’m not sure that it will be approved, but I’ll still look for references and if I find something sensible, I’ll add it, and then send the draft for consideration through the appropriate form.
Please tell me one more question, since we started a correspondence. Yes, I have notes about paid editorials, I honestly point it out, but this is more of a formality, because this is not earnings, but rather just a request, why are my personal articles that I write about writers and publishers deleted and marked with the same mark? You see, when an article is paid, I notify about it, why should I lie and hide something, there is nothing wrong with that, and paid edits are not self-interest, but simply help to avoid conflicts of interest and an attempt to describe the subject from an independent side . Thanks for the answer. Lastofthem (talk) 13:45, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To be clear, you and Mestkawy work for the same company, but only he is being retained by Techunting and you're just trying to help him out? Sam Kuru (talk) 17:11, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Lastofthem, please use the AFC process, as paid editors cannot post the article on the main space themselves. An AFC reviewer should review it. As for the draftification, you haven't fully complied with the WP:PAID requirements. Please link your Upwork profile on your user page in accordance with WP:PAID. Arc Manor advertised a job which I archived using an RSS Feed. Be honest and disclose each and every job. Follow the guidelines and no one will disturb you. Otherwise, I will send the evidence by email. You're also involved in sockpuppetry. Thank you. US-Verified (talk) 19:33, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    Do it as this user (User:Bmjc98) has complied with WP:PAID. US-Verified (talk) 19:36, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Does the article comply with wikipedia policy? why the hell am I reading some bullshit of an offended nerd? Lastofthem (talk) 23:50, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is not clear which is the article being referred to and who is the offended nerd, but what US-Verified is saying is correct. Initially I had only seen the Dre’as Sanchez draft but as there are multiple articles you have COI with, please disclose them on your user page. Jay 💬 05:06, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Sidbidmidlid per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sidbidmidlid. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
