Disambiguation link notification for August 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jaclyn Hales, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Extant. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

September 2016[edit]

Information icon Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline.

Speedy deletion nomination of Cody Strong[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello. A tag has been placed on Cody Strong requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Ways to improve Justin Stuart[edit]

Hi, I'm Devopam. Mjbmr, thanks for creating Justin Stuart!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please go through WP:CS and change the references to reflect the same.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Devopam (talk) 12:17, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Devopam: Not sure what's the issue, if you can give an example. Mjbmr (talk) 12:41, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Mjbmr:, I have cleaned up quite a few of them for you. It is advised to keep the citation inline and not inside the reflist. Reflist should be empty in order for it to be dynamically generated and used. It has ease of maintenance etc. as specified in WP:CS that I mentioned earlier. Please do the needful for rest and remove the tag or leave a note for me to do the same. Devopam (talk) 13:03, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of OmarGoshTV for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article OmarGoshTV is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OmarGoshTV until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:58, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note that I've moved the draft you created at User:Mjbmr/OmarGoshTV to Wikipedia's main article space. The article is now located at OmarGoshTV. During the course of the deletion discussion (AfD) for this article, located at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OmarGoshTV, another user significantly edited the article close to the time before the AfD discussion was closed, changing the article's scope from being about the web-based show to a biographical article about Omar Arafat, who appears to be a different subject.

The first edit that changed the article occurred on 04:03, 30 January 2017, and the last occurred on 04:09, 30 January 2017. As such, the last three !votes in the AfD discussion were based upon the scope of the article about the different subject, rather than the subject matter of the original article that you created. So, your article is back in main namespace. North America1000 00:34, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

For more information and context regarding this matter, see User talk:MrProEdits § January 2017 and a note that another administrator left atop the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OmarGoshTV. North America1000 01:18, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies[edit]

Hello Mjbmr, I didn't realize the scope of what happened when you first pinged me until I got the other pings and looked at the other discussion about the matter. Just wanted to apologize for voting for delete on the article you created, as I had not delved too much into the hijacking when I voted and just merely assumed it wasn't of merit due to the face of it. Fully my fault in voting for delete since I didn't look further into it and didn't understand what you meant by this. If you would like any assistance in the article I will be glad to help when I can. Again I'm very sorry and will take note of this for future discussions. lower-greek[edit]
