Disambiguation link notification for September 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Priory Integrated College, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AS-level (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:11, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Centro Sportivo Italiano requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Centro Sportivo Italiano moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Centro Sportivo Italiano, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. An extended welcome[edit]

Hi Nabulowa. Welcome to Wikipedia. I've added a welcome message to the top of this page that gives a great deal of information about Wikipedia. I hope you find it useful.

Additionally, I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 17:31, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

St. Elizabeth's[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page St. Elizabeth's. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Mirrors[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Ayothaya (town). However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Hoax[edit]

Stop icon

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Dundonald High School. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 11:58, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nauheed Cyrusi[edit]

It should be noted that it appears that Nauheed Cyrusi going to Dundonald High School appears to be some kind of elaborate hoax. In searching through it seems clear she went to J B Vacha school in Mumbai, her hometown, based on reliable sources, and attended Jaihind College also in Mumbai to do a commerce degree. There appears to be no evidence that she's ever been to Northern Ireland, never mind lived there and studied there. It's possible there are two people with the same name and it looks like some sources have mixed the two up, however most sources out there for Dundonald High School and being from Belfast appear to be mirrors of Wikipedia or sourced from older versions of her Wikipedia article based on their wording. All in all there appears to be some elaborate hoax around it. Evidence all points to it being impossible for her to have attended Dundonald High School and Queen's University based on the points in her career making TV and Film in India at those times. So unless you can find an extremely reliable source, please don't add this back in. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 19:56, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable sources, references that don't support the points[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. However, do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Thanks! P.S. If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you.

Additionally please ensure that your references actually support the points that are being referenced. I've now seem multiple references from yourself that just mention the article subject, but provide no support at all to the point trying to be referenced. I.e. a link to a map to reference they have white beaches and a popular snorkelling spot. A link to a news article mentioning a person's wedding to support they went to a high school that is not mentioned in any way in the article. I also notice that other editors have remove your edits for similarly being non-suitable references. Please read the links above to improve how you reference information as much of the edits you are currently doing are not supporting what you're claiming they are. Your draft article, Draft:Chinese Taipei FA Cup[edit]

Hello, Nabulowa. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Chinese Taipei FA Cup".
