Pardi

Please don't edit all my latest additions to Jon Pardi's page. It's all factual OpryFiddle345 (talk) 23:20, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

@OrpyFiddle: Do you have a reliable source backing up your claims? NightWolf1223 23:23, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

Jon Pardi sources

Yes, it's on IMDB ,all his TV appearances . All the tours are reliable, just Google it. I'm a Pardi fan. OpryFiddle345 (talk) 23:28, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

@OrpyFiddle345: FYI, IMDB is not reliable per per this link. Can you find a better one? NightWolf1223 23:31, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

I've found all the TV info from either watching it myself or through Google searches. I'm new to Wikipedia. I sent you another message a few mins ago, but I don't think it was officially sent to you? OpryFiddle345 (talk) 00:02, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

I guess I can't message you links... I sent several article links & YouTube clips in this thread to you. But it didn't go through apparently? I don't know all the Wikipedia rules but providing a source to every tour & TV appearance seems repetitive. OpryFiddle345 (talk) 00:04, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

The American Idol, Still the King, Crossroads, Pardi Time content are all on YouTube.

The tour info is presented in Google searches. If I must find every article source, I can. But give me some time lol OpryFiddle345 (talk) 00:07, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

@OrpyFiddle345:I am going to send you to the the teahouse where you can get assistance finding reliable sources. Thanks for your efforts to make Wikipedia a better place. NightWolf1223 00:12, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Thanks!! I appreciate it OpryFiddle345 (talk) 00:46, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:IFlightPlanner, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Information icon Hello, NightWolf1223. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). @Deb: I swear I dont have a connection to the subject of that article. NightWolf1223 13:14, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
Glad to hear that. The inclusion of the external link was the main problem. Deb (talk) 13:29, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
@Deb: FYI, I was leaving that there so I could cite it at some point. Can you please undelete it? It was at the very beginning of reasearch. NightWolf1223 13:58, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
Okay, i can do that. Maybe leave a note on the talk page or something, just in case anyone else tries to delete it? Deb (talk) 11:19, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi Night Wolf. Thanks for checking, but my edit wasn't accidental. I've taken your advice and explained myself in the Talk page and editing comment. VisitingSamG (talk) 14:29, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Desysop comment

Your !vote at WP:DESYSOP2021 was reverted by Chicdat for being in the wrong location. Since this was a manual revert and not an "undo" action, I wanted to let you know as you likely did not receive a ping about it. You are of course welcome to re-add your comment, but please make sure it ends up in the correct section so this sort of thing doesn't happen again. Primefac (talk) 12:34, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Note that as well as this, the user added the !vote to support in addition to this. It was confusing to me. See his/her Support #165. 🐔 Chicdat  Bawk to me! 12:35, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
OK @Primefac:, Thanks for letting me know. NightWolf1223 13:26, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Guideline and policy news

  • An RfC is open to add a delay of one week from nomination to deletion for G13 speedy deletions.

Technical news

  • Last week all wikis were very slow or not accessible for 30 minutes. This was due to server lag caused by regenerating dynamic lists on the Russian Wikinews after a large bulk import. (T287380)
