The Metro
Hi Nordic. I found in the past that my tendency to check everything and leave everything until the last minute as well as other things getting in the way meant quite a few times the newsletter got waylaid. I haven't done any issues for quite some time but if you want to revive it and take over, feel free to. DavidCane (talk · contribs) also helped out occasionally back when it was running so he would be good to chat with as well. If you need any pointers or any suggestions on what to include, feel free to drop me a line. Simply south ...... time, deparment skies for just 9 years 19:24, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for your contributions in providing deletion sorting, an often overlooked aspect of AfD that is helpful to encourage editor input in the discussions. North America1000 18:09, 5 March 2016 (UTC) |

A quick note on serial commas
Hi, Nordic Dragon. Regarding this edit, I thought I'd let you know there is nothing grammatically incorrect about using a serial comma. As per MOS:SERIAL, we don't prefer either style (using it or omitting it), but rather try to be consistent throughout an article. Of course, with a lengthy page like Apple Inc., consistency is a bit difficult. —zziccardi (talk) 14:41, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
@Zziccardi: I have always been taught that commas should never be before "and". The edit was more to do with making it grammatically correct in my own way. My apologies if I messed about with consistency. Nordic Dragon 13:23, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- No worries. On the flip side, most of my teachers over the years favored the serial comma and argued omitting it was somehow wrong. I'm rather fond of it. :) —zziccardi (talk) 14:02, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
Writing about notability on Wikipedia
Hi Nordic, I'm a journalist writing about notability on Wikipedia, and I notice you are active on the articles for deletion page. I was hoping to get some insight from you about how the page works and what you look for. Let me know if you have a few minutes to talk. Genemode (talk) 20:04, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Genemode: I would not be the best person to speak to. If you make yourself known at the Teahouse someone should be able to assist. Thanks Nordic Dragon 07:30, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
