Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to N.F.-Board may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

== Proposed deletion of ConIFA World Football Cup ==

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article ConIFA World Football Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability, fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of ConIFA World Football Cup for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article ConIFA World Football Cup is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ConIFA World Football Cup until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. GiantSnowman 12:50, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks and sorry for the deletion of the tag. The tag itself said something that I can remove it if it I improve the article, which I did by using refs. What is the reason for deletion ? Is it the style of the article or the content of it ? NikauTokelau (talk) 13:56, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Something being well referenced does not make it notable. Something being covered in some media does not make it notable. GiantSnowman 18:26, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
The guidelines say "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." Which part of that is not satisfied in your opinion? It has received significant coverage (Swedish/Norwegian national TV, Swedish national radio, Iraqi newspaper, Canadian newspaper, German magazines, UK magazines). Sources like national TV/radion, 11Freunde from Germany and the biggest Canadian French newspaper are surely reliable and independent of the subject. So which is the argument for not-notability ?
