Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diff: [1][2][3] In addition to being unsourced, you should probably consider adding content that is of academic value. I'm not sure what academic question you are answering by indiscriminately noting that a film sold its satellite rights. Do we mention that about huge Hollywood blockbusters like Captain America: Civil War? No, we do not. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:36, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Ivanuku Thannila Gandam 57dd747dda52c.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Ivanuku Thannila Gandam 57dd747dda52c.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 15:43, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ivanuku Thannila Gandam 57dd747dda52c.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 15:45, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Brindavanam (2017 film). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Arjayay (talk) 18:13, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum. - Arjayay (talk) 18:15, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Meesaya Murukku, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Arjayay (talk) 18:18, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:---D--santhosh-6ea4df840106066ed9924e3401e07ae5.webp. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 09:53, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Bare URLs

[edit]

Hi Santhosh 2018, Thanks for your contributions to WP. However, we do have lots of rules and one of them pertains to Bare URLs. To help you understand this policy please read Wikipedia:Bare URLs. Happy editing! - Samf4u (talk) 17:57, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources are required

[edit]

Please take a few minutes to read up on reliable sources and identifying reliable sources. Many times you are adding sources that are blogs, forums or other sources that don't meet Wikipedia's reliable source standards. I'm not going to bother trying to go through all of your edits, I'm going to revert most of your edits today. YOU need to make sure you are using good sources. You also need to stop adding just bare URL and REALLY need to stop removing full citation templates. You will end up blocked for disruptive editing if this continues. Ravensfire (talk) 15:15, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sun TV

[edit]

Also, when you link to Sun TV, please link to the correct page. See this edit for what someone else has to cleanup after your edit. Start using the right page, please. Ravensfire (talk) 15:19, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE READ THIS!

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for disruptive editing, inability to take feedback and adhere to policies/guidelines, copyvios etc. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

Santhosh, I've reverted about 93 of your recent edits for a number of reasons.

  1. Though I know you did this in good faith, adding Indic titles to film articles[4][5][6][7][8][9] contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT, which says: "Avoid the use of Indic scripts in the lead sections or infoboxes."
  2. You appear to have uploaded a number of copyrighted images without justification for doing so. This is problematic and copyright violations won't be tolerated. If you don't understand our copyright policies or how to fill out the upload questionnaire, you shouldn't be uploading images. Short story: You can't upload images you find on the internet without establishing a legal right to do so, which is typically argued under Fair Use, provided certain criteria are met. You need to either familiarise yourself with that or stop uploading.
  3. You have been invited to a discussion about the blind inclusion of satellite rights content in articles, but you've chosen not to participate.

Your general lack of response to other warnings indicate that you either don't understand the issues being raised, or you don't care about community opinions. I strongly recommend that when your block expires, you take an opportunity to ask experienced editors about whether or not the bulk edits you are planning are going to be consistent with community guidelines. I also strongly recommend responding to notices and warnings on your talk page, and if you still care about satellite rights content, you really should participate in that discussion linked above. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:20, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
