Football in Scotland[edit]

Flag of Scotland.svg

As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Football, a new Football In Scotland task force has been set up. As you edit articles on Scottish football, I would like to invite you to become a member. The task force is a collaborative effort to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Scottish football. If you would like to participate, please visit the task force page for details of how to join.

Warburton1368 (talk) 15:58, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Your membership would be appreciated even if you don't contribute to it directly. Junior football is an area where we lack. As i am finding out through the creation of the task force there are so many areas that need attention. Junior football being one of them. Also if your ever have any questions or need advice were probably a good place to start. In response to one question there is nothing wrong with creating the talk page of articles you create.. Scottish Women's Premier League[edit]

Nice work adding 2011 data, It should be in its own season article though. doesn't belong in league article. cheers. :) -Koppapa (talk) 17:49, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

The cup's season should have its own article too. -Koppapa (talk) 18:09, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
No problem just haven't had much time to work on it. They should really have separate articles If its ok ill copy some of your stuff on to mine move it to real space and then we can work on it together to improve it. Some of the info should stay on the main page like current teams. We could try and add more history to the main page make it more like the Scottish Premier League page wont be easy but think it would be worth it. In regards to your idea for the 2001 football in scotland. I prefer your page as gives more information however its always been a bit of a contentious issue. You could put a message on the article talk page with a link to yours and see what people think or change it and if someone changes it then take to talk page. good work though. Warburton1368 (talk) 18:51, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Nearly forgot the cups we could create season articles for them as well but i am not sure where we would find the sources for it.Warburton1368 (talk) 18:51, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Thats the season copied over plus your info. 2011 Scottish Women's Premier League. Warburton1368 (talk) 19:41, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Proposed deletion of Fochabers F.C.[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Fochabers F.C. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:CLUB or WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Boleyn (talk) 19:35, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
