April songs

April songs
my story today

My story today is about the Alchymic Quartet, - I went away from DYK but it's the last one from last year. - The songs are about vacation, continued. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:46, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

I love pictures of mountains. Being in them not so much, altitude (I live at sea level, so high is hard to acclimatize to) and generally cold. Fabulous photographs of the peaks and flora. Love the idea of that quartet, comparing chemical transformations to music. I have always said music is mathematical because shifting time and meter changes its genre, but now I can totally visualize links with scientific experimentation. Thanks for that! SusunW (talk) 22:32, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Thank you! - I made an exception from my DYK abstinence for Good Friday, - see my story today. Interesting to compare a hook 2023 style to one in 2012 (see my story today). - I sang, including chorales from Bach's greatest Passion. I recently listened to one by Homilius: a discovery! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:59, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
Congratulations! And yes, I find I am not nearly so frustrated with DYK if I do it sparingly. The contrast of the DYKs is interesting. SusunW (talk) 16:28, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
I feel the same, exactly. - Managed another vacation day, hiking and getting wet under the waterfalls (one pictured but there were four) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:20, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
I loved to see Marian Anderson and her story of protest against discrimination by singing on Easter Sunday 9 April 1939 on the Main page yesterday. Impressions of Easter here and music here. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:44, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
Sorry to have missed that. Like every Méridano, we spent semana santa at the beach and I was hardly on-line. It seems such an odd custom for a highly Catholic country, but literally everyone leaves the city for the playa and a dip in the gulf. SusunW (talk) 17:57, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
I peeked at the photos while drinking my morning coffee. Those camellias are fantastic! Feast for the eyes. SusunW (talk) 13:14, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
thank you - my story today, Messiah (Handel), was my first dip into the FA ocean, thanks to great colleagues. - a few pics added, one day missing --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:32, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Congratulations. That's a somewhat scary ocean indeed. It helps to wade in with colleagues ;) SusunW (talk) 13:44, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
that was in 2011 - one colleague died, and the other talks to me only when he has to ;) - today is the 80th birthday of John Eliot Gardiner. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:47, 20 April 2023 (UTC)-
Nothing is ever stagnant. Change is inevitable and I have found that most humans don't like it, although I usually look at it as an adventure ;) SusunW (talk) 22:44, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
good point - the discussions about Mozart changed, and I like it --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:33, 26 April 2023 (UTC)

Barbara Bird

Hello, I am writing an article on Barbara Bird, a retired management professor. I believe she meets WP:PROF based on her citation counts, but I would like to add some biographic info. I can't tell if this M.A. thesis is written by the same Barbara Jean Bird [1]. I think the timing works out, but I'd like to be sure. From her book and dissertation, I know her parents are named Jean and Jim. No rush and no worries if you can't find anything else. TJMSmith (talk) 21:38, 29 April 2023 (UTC)

Hey TJMSmith good to hear from you. Give me some time and I'll see what I can find. Was just finishing up Achola Pala. SusunW (talk) 21:50, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
Wow, TJ, very common name per my searches, but yes, that's her paper according to her profile at academia.edu. Will still try to see if I can find anything to help with biography. SusunW (talk) 22:15, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
Very little I am sad to say. Lots of Barbara Birds, but are they this Barbara? Here's an analysis of the master's. This says she worked at Case Western Reserve University, and these 2 newspaper articles [2] and [3] talk about projects she worked on there. SusunW (talk) 22:37, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
Thank you! I will work on expanding. TJMSmith (talk) 23:10, 29 April 2023 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Ana Amado

The article Ana Amado you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Ana Amado and Talk:Ana Amado/GA1 for issues which need to be addressed. Requesting some article expansion help

Greetings @SusunW

How are you? It's long time now, I did not make an article expansion request to you so here is one. I am giving expansion support to Draft:Gender power gap, pl visit and see if this topic would interest you for further expansion or inputs. Thanks Bookku (talk) 15:23, 4 May 2023 (UTC)

Hey Bookku, I've run through it and given it a copyedit. A couple of things you might consider, This says quotas have led to the changes. Lots of work on that topic can be found here. It may be that you don't want to introduce it, because it is somewhat controversial, but I think it gives insight into improvements and failures. This adds perspective, as it talks about local level authority as opposed to national authority. Hope that helped. SusunW (talk) 15:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

Eliza Planta-Stephens

First pass (finally) done: User:Kusma/sandbox/EP. Would you like to have a look? Especially the lead needs some work. We should then get rid of the remaining in-text comments (and perhaps try to shorten slightly). If you don't mind, I'd like to nominate for DYK first and later go for GA at some point, depending on feedback. —Kusma (talk) 21:54, 1 May 2023 (UTC)

Kusma I'll look at it first off tomorrow. Was my birthday and thus, we weren't home but out celebrating. SusunW (talk) 04:28, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
Belated happy birthday! Hope you had a great time. There is obviously no rush at all. —Kusma (talk) 04:58, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
Had a lovely celebration. Thanks! Went to our favorite Irish pub with friends. SusunW (talk) 16:34, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
Kusma I've reviewed it and made minor changes. I think I took out all of our comments too. I honestly think we need to have someone who is not familiar with all the overlapping names look at it. I do not generally like referring to women by their first names, but in this case with all the Elizabeth's it may be prudent. I usually have Ian look at articles, but if you have someone you prefer, feel free. SusunW (talk) 17:49, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
Sure, having someone else look over the article is a great idea, I am happy to wait for that. If Ian is willing, it would be great to hear his opinion. Names are indeed difficult: The "Wedlock" source calls Mary Eleanor Bowes "Mary Eleanor" and after the wedding calls Andrew Stoney "Bowes". In order not to call her by first name and him by last name, I call her "Bowes" and him "Stoney" (there are also too many Marys in the story) and hope this isn't too confusing. —Kusma (talk) 19:47, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
It is in mainspace now, and nominated for DYK. It could do with juicier hooks; if you can think of anything, please add to Template:Did you know nominations/Eliza Stephens (I will be happy to check sources). —Kusma (talk) 09:18, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
I think we should also list our unused research on the talk page, it might be useful for others later. See Talk:Eliza Stephens. —Kusma (talk) 09:20, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
Kusma I added to both the talk page, and a hook. SusunW (talk) 14:47, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

Did you know...

that we are still lacking an article on one of the authors of Unveiling a Parallel, a pioneering feminist utopia set on Mars written by two women from Iowa in the 1890s? (I just wrote an article on the other one: Alice Ilgenfritz Jones). I am always surprised what kind of amazing women still lack articles: American female science fiction authors looks to me like an obvious case of "someone must have written about these women", but no, nobody did. Happy editing, —Kusma (talk) 21:46, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

The irony. I've spent the month writing about Europeans and you are writing about Americans. Lovely article. So many women's stories haven't been told, but thanks to our editors we are uncovering them. I appreciate your work! SusunW (talk) 22:11, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
Kusma, I don't suppose you could use your language skills to come up with her father's name? Seems to me that the guy who brought electricity to a region would be notable, but I've had no luck. SusunW (talk) 16:59, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
Not easy. Dobje was tiny (and still is). communities of the Krain region in 1900, see p. 58 (p. 66 of the PDF). Pölland/Poljane is a rather common name for villages in the region. My best guess so far is a guy called Franc Grošelj, but I have no evidence this is our man. —Kusma (talk) 21:17, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
You know I asked you because it wasn't easy or just hard . Let me see if I can work with that. Thank you very, very much. SusunW (talk) 21:24, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
I have a non-RS: [4] says the father was Alojz Grošelj, the younger brother of Franc. Happy hunting, —Kusma (talk) 22:49, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
You are the best! Let's see what I can do with that. SusunW (talk) 00:16, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
Kusma And I found a source that says he was the mayor! Now if I can just figure out which of these that came from. SusunW (talk) 13:35, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
Got it! SusunW (talk) 14:07, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
Super! I do have a query about her name. I think the family name is Grošelj with an e, and things like Grošlja or Grošljev or something are just derived forms in specific genders and cases. If you go Slovenian, "Valentina Grošlja" is probably correct, but in English, you could use "Valentina Grošelj". Your "Valentina Grošlj" looks a bit odd to me. (Note that my understanding of South Slavic languages is even worse than my Russian, so take all of this with a large helping of salt). —Kusma (talk) 08:28, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
You know I have no clue, Kusma. I found it odd that there was no ending, as in my experience, Eastern European languages have gendered endings on names. I went with the spelling in the major bio, i.e. "Valentina (Grošelj) Kobe: (1905–1998), poljanska zdravnica. The writer is herself a noted Slovenian physician and spells it that way numerous times in the 3 articles she wrote about Kobe, but specifically look at the caption under the photo on the first page. SusunW (talk) 13:35, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
My point is that I think you can't cut out the "e" without adding an ending, see sl:Grošelj. Do you agree with this edit? —Kusma (talk) 13:40, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
I see, now that you've pointed out the typo. Sorry for being so dense. And yes, thank you. I appreciate your fixing it, as I must fly to a doctor's appointment for my husband. It's in 14 minutes and we have to get a taxi. I appreciate you. SusunW (talk) 13:47, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

ITN recognition for Maria Mies

On 22 May 2023, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Maria Mies, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 04:11, 22 May 2023 (UTC)

Maria Mies

After the singer is much improved, thanks to you, I met the next topic, Maria Mies, - a strange article, most of it a retelling of her books. I'm afraid we won't get that part through In the news, and think there should be more bio. I'm out for the day, - could you please look at the one English source and add more from it. Sorry that I had too little time yet to even read it thoroughly. I noticed that it mentions nursing home, and guess in Cologne, but so far we have no source for a POB. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:32, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

Gerda Arendt, I'll see what I can do, but it will have to be this afternoon. My husband has an appointment with the audiologist, and I must go with him to be his "ears". SusunW (talk) 13:41, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt We're tripping on each other. I just typed a whole section and got an edit conflict with you that I am now going to have to sort out. I'll go get my lunch and give you time to finish before I try to put the information back in. SusunW (talk) 20:24, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
I am sorry. I would normally not do that but found a source that has a different DOD (which the German WP also has). As said in edit summaries, I'm out again. I found this which is nice but can wait until tomorrow. - You worked miracles!! While I went on a nice bike tour. I feel guilty, sort of. I think I could nominate her already for RD, but will wait for the repair of the edit conflict. Easiest: you restore the version before my changes, and add what you typed. I could easily apply my changes again afterwards. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:31, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
No worries, Gerda Arendt. I've got the conflict version pulled up showing me where to make the changes. SusunW (talk) 20:36, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Fine! As a note to self:
Okay, I think we have the basic biographical information corrected now. The whole sections on her works will need to go. It is not based on reviews of those works but rather, I say this because it is all cited to Mies' own work, OR of the WP editor's interpretation of Mies. That's more than I have in me today, so I'll circle back around tomorrow, after I do some research to see if I can find reviews. SusunW (talk) 21:16, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Great, - agree about the books, that's what I meant by "retelling" above. More tomorrow! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:57, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for more improvements! - while I was just out taking pics --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:47, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
Slow going from French, but now I am working in Spanish, i.e. more familiar ground SusunW (talk) 17:51, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt my brain is fried. Lots of concepts to absorb and try to understand, while at the same time translating. I'll come back to it tomorrow but need to rest. Do we have a source for "the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2001"? SusunW (talk) 22:48, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
O dear, your brain! Take a break, rest, think of something else. - I'll leave in minutes for another day off. - I'll have to search for the order of merit but am confident. Worse: more or less all (not only the books) rests on what she says and wrote, and all written sources say 7th child of 12, and in her spoken interview she says 8th. What is more reliable. Not that the fact matters much, but it's a key question: do we trust the so-called reliable sources or the primary person on whose memory - that faded in the end - it all rests. I am dismayed that there are no good obits (that I saw) - same problem as for the mezzo who sang at Oper Frankfurt for decades, and then all the Frankfurt paper had was dpa. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:12, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
It's always a possibility that one died young. My dad had an older brother but everyone always said daddy was the oldest son, my grandma was always called an only child (until my great grandfather remarried and had 12 more children), but she had a full brother who died in the 1918 flu pandemic. Personally, I never trust secondary sources because they are repeating what someone or some other record said. I want to see the primary source for myself. But that's the training in history and research. My guess is that a scholarly obit will take some months to appear because it has to be written, submitted for publication, edited, etc. SusunW (talk) 14:10, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt Okay, so I think I have completed the section about her research. We need to work on her legacy. Would that I could just find a simple statement that she was internationally known for her theories, but so far I haven't found that. (It's clear, as I found reviews in almost every language, but I need a source that says that.) I do have one bit to add about the influence of Ecofeminism and another about "housewifization", which I'll do as soon as I finish writing this. We also need to look for awards. The lede says many, but I see none documented. Eventually we'll need to revisit the lede, but I'm going to finish up my bits and let you have it. SusunW (talk) 20:55, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
Done. The legacy part looks better, still wish we had more, but it at least isn't one sentence. I tried to do a little bit of searching on awards and found nothing. Hopefully you can. SusunW (talk) 22:39, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
What you did is just magnificent!! ... while I spent a nice Sunday and didn't find the time to even look. She's on the Main page now, so probably I don't have to look much deeper right now - just waking up, and wanting to upload pics - was too tired last night. I think you could nominate her for GA, as it is. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:59, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt I do plan on it, but probably not until the June editathon and definitely not until we try to figure out the awards bit. I'll also want Ian to look at it and Britishize the English because that will be closer to hers than American English is. Thank you for finding her and letting me know about the article. I appreciate you! SusunW (talk) 14:08, 22 May 2023 (UTC)

Possible article for next month's "Women in Music"

Hello! While Rebekah Harkness isn't redlinked...I thought it might align with your diverse interests...she was a philanthropist, arts patron, composer, sculptor, socialite, etc. The article has a whopping 22,439 pageviews in the last 30 days. No worries at all if you're not interested. It isn't in terrible shape as is... TJMSmith (talk) 04:24, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Fascinating read TJMSmith, I'll think on it. Thanks for introducing me to her. The problem to my eyes is those page views, which = driveby editing, which means constantly monitoring to try to keep unsourced material out. In between trying to organize some serious real life stuff at the moment, I am working on a couple that I'd like to finish on the cusp of the month because one is an educator and both are LGBT, so they fit in both editathons. but your article is much better and more precise in what it says. —Kusma (talk) 13:19, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

I hate that. All that time wasted. :'( SusunW (talk) 13:23, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
It is frustrating, but all that's really lost is that you can't get creator credit. After merging and some rewriting, you will still be able to get it to GA soon, so I don't think it has been a complete waste of time. I did have fun researching this a bit. —Kusma (talk) 13:28, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
I don't give a rats rear end about credit for anything. But merging is always a mess to clean up and the other person may or may not want to collaborate. I wanted to get this done before the surgery on Monday, but I kind of doubt that will happen now. *sigh* SusunW (talk) 13:31, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
Okay, I asked and pinged you in Kusma. Today will be hard, need to do one more pre-test and get the cash from the bank (medical is great here, but you pay cash, no debit or credit accepted and it's way more if you try to file an insurance claim. Cheap if you pay cash, so we must go there.) SusunW (talk) 14:26, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

Your most recent text is here (that's where I click "edit" and then cut and paste from). —Kusma (talk) 21:52, 10 June 2023 (UTC)

Hope all went well yesterday! Let me know if you think there is more to do for Mme Palmire (other than better DYK hooks, I am not very good at those), I'm always happy to help. —Kusma (talk) 08:52, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
Thank you very much. We think it went really well, but won't know for sure for 10 days. I think Dumont looks great and truly appreciate your help. I am awful at hooks, Yoninah always helped me with them. But I think yours look fine. SusunW (talk) 12:11, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Writer's Barnstar
Hi! Saw Daisy Yen Wu on the mainpage (Special:Permalink/1158944815) yesterday and thought it was really interesting and well written. I would love to write an article like that and go that in depth in to one specific subject. Thank you so much for your contributions here and your numerous good/featured articles. Happy editing! Justiyaya 03:27, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Thank you so much Justiyaya. I write because I want to learn about someone, and it is always a bonus if someone else reads an article I wrote and is able to learn something too or enjoy it. I approach every subject from the standpoint of sources. Can I find enough material to tell a whole story from beginning to end that is in more than one curated source. There are lots of people I want to learn about, but cannot find enough sources to tell a complete life story, so I choose someone else. I also never let language hold me back. I have developed a network of people on here who speak many languages and can help. I am happy to try to help if you have specific questions about a specific article. There are also essays at Women in Red that while they were written to give guidance on writing about women, give a good overview for writing about anything. Happy editing. SusunW (talk) 12:08, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Welcome! Writing and learning about various lives does feel very interesting and satisfying to do, but I have no idea where to find these subjects though. I've seen the Women in Red essay list before but never read through them completely, thanks for reminding me of them. If you need any help with Chinese language sources feel free to ping me. Justiyaya 02:49, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
Thank you so much, Justiyaya. Always good to know who to go to for specific language issues. I will do that. I looked just looked at the WiR list for China, seems like there are potential subjects there, but I don't know what you like to write about. How I find people is literally to type "19th century, editathon for the month topic, country" in the language of whatever country I am interested in, so for this month, "19th century, lesbian, France" and ended up with Palmire Dumont. Then I let whatever red links show up there lead me to the next topic or redo the search with a different country. Don't know if that helps. I typically don't write about living people, so 19th century gets me someone born then who likely died in the 20th century. SusunW (talk) 04:38, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
Yup that definitely helps. I'll look through the list and do some preliminary research when I'm free, thanks a lot! Justiyaya 10:26, 14 June 2023 (UTC)

June songs

June songs
my story today

I like today's Main page, and here's why ;) - (DYK that we got filmed when performing the piece mentioned?) -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:14, 2 June 2023 (UTC)

Very cool. I am working my way toward nominating Mies today for GA. SusunW (talk) 15:28, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
also very cool! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:02, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
Last weekend was nice, class reunion a funny number of years after completing school, and the lovely park where I spent many Sundays as a child. Today's story is about a quite dramatic woman, there's a yt trailer to the hook. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:11, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
I've never been to a class reunion. Never lived anywhere close since I graduated. We will be there in September for my mom's 90th birthday and I think it will be the first time I've been there in a decade. Far easier and she has more fun (she loves to travel and lives in a small town), for us to fly her to wherever we are living. Nice article. SusunW (talk) 20:56, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
We had a reunion many years after, and for the second waited even longer, but then decided we better don't do that again, and wanted to change to every other year, but came the pandemic and it was five again. - What I came to say is that Soňa Červená is now a GA, and that is because of what you added. You can count it as yours, - I'm not counting anyway. I was quite surprised to find that I had more than 100 GAs. - + more pics. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:43, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
Yay! Glad it was approved. I'm happy to list it for Women in Green as a collaboration ;). Will not be around much until Tuesday. Real life stuff going on. SusunW (talk) 14:55, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
Understand. - 11 June or: Music not only by Bach, and I'll be more or less away for the week. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:31, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
Enjoy your time away. The surgery went really well. We're home and he's doing good. SusunW (talk) 12:38, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
Tell your husband I'm thing of you, with best wishes! From Stockholm, on the speed train from the airport. Storye book is good with hooks, - perhaps for your GAs (below)! Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:44, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
Thank you so much, he says he appreciates it. Stockholm, wish we could go, but not a good time to travel by plane until his eardrum heals. I'm jealous of your freedom to travel. LOL SusunW (talk) 13:52, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
Jörg Widmann is 50, and I began Stockholm pics. - Thank you so much for the press for the tuba player. I can't see the second batch of links - if interesting, could you please just add to the article? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:30, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt I've ordered the two that analyze his work from the RX, we'll see what happens. Are you saying you cannot see the bio in Kürschners Musiker-Handbuch? I can't read it. It's in German and like all lexicons has multiple abbreviations that are unintelligible to google translate. Like this "[Neustadt / O 25.8.1934] Ausb: Stud (R. Iser) H f M Hanns Eisler Berlin 52-55 Lafb: Mitgl Orch Meininger Th 55-60, Mitgl Orch d Kom Op Berlin 60-00, Doz hFm Hanns Eisler seit 78; Solo-Tourneen m Gruner- u Williams-Tubakonzert in Frankreich, USA, Japan, Ungarn seit 79." And a whole bunch of what appears to be other performances? I could clip it and e-mail it to you, but you'd have to send me an e-mail because it won't let me send a photo though the wikiserver. Anyway, I can add a few bits I found and we'll see what happens from the RX. SusunW (talk) 16:40, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
Thank you, angel! I'll use the Kürschner as submitted, and that should fight the deletion. Anything else is extra ;) - The ones I can't see are numbered 5 to 8. I used #4, and found some myself. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:18, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt I've added some. Will come back to it. The vet is almost here to give the cats their shots. Trauma for them and for me because they will be traumatized as soon as the doorbell rings. SusunW (talk) 18:06, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, I think I added everything I have access to. We'll have to see what the RX finds. One of the sources also mentioned a French article: Mathez, J. P. “Le Tuba en Allemagne: Rencontre avec Dietrich Unkrodt.” Brass Bulletin—International Brass Chronicle no. 71 (1990): 34-35, but I had no luck in finding it. Perhaps someone on your side of the pond will have better luck since I am blocked from so many European sites. SusunW (talk) 22:27, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
Aza said already (!) that the article looks great now, - thank you so much! - What do you think of making Françoise Gilot a GA? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:07, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
Good deal. I think on Gilot that I am too busy right now. Thursday we go to get my husband's stitches out and start follow-up/rehab stuff. I have probably 10 articles nominated right now, am fixing to nominate a Croatian artists, and need to have that number drop before I nominate more. SusunW (talk) 13:51, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

Women in Red anniversary

Thank you for sharing your memories and your kind words. You are one of the earliest trailblazers, and the epitome of WiR. Also, glad to call you my wiki-friend. --Rosiestep (talk) 09:51, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

Thank you Rosiestep. I feel exactly the same about you. SusunW (talk) 12:32, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
