Sandip Goswami, again
Honorable Sir , I am a fan of Poet Sandip Goswami. I am not a relative of Mr. Goswami. Poet Sandip Goswami lives at a small towm Nabadwip which was ancient capital of undivided Bengal. So he is out of lime light. I created a page about Sandip Goswami in facebook. [1] and distributing his great Bengali poems , articles , Inflaming ( philosophy ). Some great magazines in Facebook are shearing poems of Poet Sandip Goswami. About 5,00,000 Bengali people in the world are reading his creation through Facebook with love and respect. I am trying to do my best. Unfortunately Wikipedia does not understand to the value of Sandip Goswami . Poet Sandip Goswami is a silent person and dislikes every advertisement and believes on every great creation in the world. He got Dipendra memorial award by Dipendra Natya academy at Nabadwip . Please try to understand him with love and respect. Earnestly hope that you will give a chance to the supporters of Poet Sandip Goswami. We want true judgement from Wikipedia. Yours faithfully. Google searches turn up the Wikipedia page as the first hit, which would have been relevant to me if it hadn't been deleted. Luckily the Internet Archive had it, so it wasn't lost to the world, for now. I'd like to see this music-culture reference returned. https://web.archive.org/web/20130401120941/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armand_Navabi
- I don't see how this meets criteria for undeletion. LibStar (talk) 23:14, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Armand Navabi (2nd nomination), it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Stifle (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. JohnCD (talk) 23:32, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Born in the year 1978 to a journalist Late Shri Subhash Saraswala and housewife Nirupa Saraswala, Nihar always had a big dream for his country and now keenly wants to play a bigger role in leading India’s path to be the Superpower through the positive use of Social Media in creating mass awareness for the country and ultimately a better society. My good friend User:Sherurcij started this article. He isn't active to see when other contributors have concerns over older contributions he has made. So he can't see whether that older material can be brought into compliance with our current stricter inclusion standards. I am going to request userification to User:Geo Swan/Abdulrahman Farhane. Shafig bin Laden
My good friend User:Sherurcij started this article. He isn't active to see if he can bring into compliance older articles he started, that have triggered someone's concern that they no longer meet our current, stricter inclusion criteria. If this article had significant meaningful content, and references, then it probably should not have been deleted, that meaningful content should have been merged into another article, probably Bin Laden family, Carlyle Group.
I am going to request userification. If I find any content worth merging into another article I will (1) merge it; (2) move the userified article back to article space; (3) changeit to a redirect to the article where the content was moved. This will make the contribution handy in the event new events occur that boost the notability of Shafig bin Laden, and someone decides he then merits a standalone article.
If I don't find content worth merging within a week I will place a {{db-u1}} on it. Geo Swan (talk) 21:24, 29 January 2014 (UTC) -Geo Swan (talk) 21:24, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Ashley Kirilow
The original article on Ashley Kirilow was deleted after Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashley Kirilow. I worked on a userspace draft after the article was deleted -- one with a distinct history from the original deleted version.
Subsequently, a related article Change for the Cure, started by someone else, was nominated for deletion. The decision was made at that afd that the userspace draft Ashley Kirilow should be moved to article space, and Change for the Cure should redirect to it.
On User talk:Fetchcomms I requested the old history be grafted on to the new article. Fetchcomms seems to be on a wikibreak, so I am requesting the history merge here. I figure since the restoration to article space was a decision made at an afd, the restoration of the revision history of the original article can be regarded as uncontroversial. war room inc
Hello There,
I'm writing you as I have been told from Wikipedia that the name War Room Inc is blocked and that an email is needed to be sent to the person who blocked the name.
The reason I'm seeking for further help is I would like to write an article/description on War Room Inc. I had the opportunity to see their work showcased at an event I attended and they are a growing Video Marketing agency in Vancouver, BC. When I went to search more about them, I found no information on Wikipedia describing them and I feel it is important. Not only do they have outstanding work, they are on the leading edge of Video Marketing and I think it should be shared.
I appreciate that you probably receive a ton of emails like this, so thank you for your time to read mine. I would like to ask how I can submit an article on them with out being blocked once again.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your reply.

- Hey Hetva23. Wikipedia is not for advertising or promotion of topics, or for topics that the world at large hasn't taken note of by treating that topics with significant coverage in reliable sources. There are lots of other places on the Internet that you can get your name out there but an encyclopedia isn't one of them. <@C.Fred: The article was at the title in the headline here, which is spelled differently than the link in the text; I know, I know, I searched a bunch of things too before noticing that>--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:03, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

- Not done. I don't think it matters that the requester is not the article author; but as Fuhgettabout it says, Wikipedia is not here to help new artists "get their name out there" and I see no indication that this is anywhere near the notability standard of WP:MUSICBIO. Template:Eventualist
Deleter maintains after questioning that this was a blank template. I maintain it was not, and (s)he was "too quick on the button". I made a mistake myself of writing "test" in the edit summary. The template is based upon {{troutme}} template:troutme (for example see top right of the page) and is intended for placement out of the way on userpages, next to the usual icons. This was the first time after much content creation that I have tried to add to the "Wikipedia culture". Please look at the template and my edit history before deciding whether this template is worthy of undeletion or not. Thank you for your time... CEDIA
Material was not copyright violation. It came from the CEDIA websites at www.cedia.org and www.cedia.net. The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association is a real trade organization that owns the rights to the acronym CEDIA and all of the content placed on the CEDIA websites. -Havronsm (talk) 15:33, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Not done. Yes, and those websites are labelled "© 2012 Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association... This publication, or parts thereof, may not be reproduced in any form without permission from the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association." Even without that notice, Wikipedia cannot accept copied material without a formal copyright release; publication under our CC-BY-SA license gives any reader the right to copy, modify and re-use for any purpose including commercial, and it is essential that the actual copyright holder understands and agrees to that. Assertion of permission to reproduce by someone on the end of a wire is not enough.
- The way to give permission is described at WP:DCM, but that is academic because material written for other purposes is seldom suitable: Wikipedia is not a place for companies or organizations to tell the world about themselves or post copies of their own promotional literature. There are plenty of sites like Myspace and Facebook for that, but Wikipedia is different, a project to build an independent, neutral encyclopedia, so it is selective about article subjects, requiring references to significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources to establish Wikipedia:Notability, and people are discouraged from writing about themselves or their own organizations, because of the conflict of interest involved. If you work for CEDIA, please read the WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. JohnCD (talk) 16:43, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

- Not done: this has already been answered once, about ten items above this. To repeat: the deleted article was much too promotional, and you would do best to start from a clean sheet. If you are the same person as User:War Room Inc, your account is blocked as a promotional username, and you need to request an unblock on the talk page of that account, as explained in the block notice. If you are not the same person, but are connected with War Room Inc, read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. In any case, as a new user you would be well advised to use the WP:Articles for creation process. Read WP:Your first article before you start, and note that (a) if your article tries to "sell" the company it will not be accepted, and (b) you will need to provide references to significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources to establish Wikipedia:Notability. Integrated Nano-Science and Commodity Exchange
Article was deleted under the reasons 1. no indication of importance 2. unambiguous advertising or promotion.
I understand that the article was a deleted 20-12-2010 so alot of time has passed since the page was published and there have been some important updates in this field since that time ( hence adding to a more exciting article). Although the article is about a business, please be clear it was by no meant to be an advertising or promotion ploy but to act as an information system to inform about progression in NanoMaterials and how they are being managed. I would love the oppurtunity to review what was initally submitted and to give a my best shot at editing it fro review again.
and/or have some good advice from one of the adminitrators.
I look forward to being involved here.
Thanks for all the work

JohnCD (talk) 16:09, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Louise. Integrated Nano-Science Commodity Exchange was deleted as a patent copyright infringement and thus cannot be undeleted. It was also highly unsuitable content, being written like an advertisement (regardless of whether that was anyone's intent). If at all, this would have to be started from scratch. Can I ask you to please read WP:COI and WP:CORP. If you are determined to go ahead, I suggest you write the article by starting here, and be sure to cite to reliable sources in any draft submitted.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 20:29, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

- Not done That draft article was actually not yet deleted at the time your posted your undeletion request and this page is only articles that have already been deleted. However, it is deleted now as it was a blatant copyright infringement of [1] and [2]. Given the conflict of interest that I take from your username, if you own the copyright to that text please note that even if it was suitable for the content of an article (which it was not, as it was promotional text), we could not use it by permission for our use but would require the copyright to be released by a verifiable method.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:48, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
Nuovo Tea
The article specifies what the company is by going into some detail of the tea industry. It is a simple article describing a company that operates in the United States. It is not a promotional tool, but merely a representation of what type of company Nuovo Tea is. Please tell me what I must change so that it doesn't get deleted again, thank you! -TeaInfoGuy (talk) 00:20, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Not done Hi Teainfoguy. First, the article was a blatant copyright violation of [3] and so it cannot be undeleted, nor recreated with that content. As I said also in the post above, "given the conflict of interest that I take from your username, if you own the copyright to that text please note that even if it was suitable for the content of an article (which it was not, as it was promotional text), we could not use it by permission for our use but would require the copyright to be released by a verifiable method".
Second, the article could not have read as more promotional – it was a poster child for promotion, which is no surprise since it was copied and pasted from the front page of the company's own website. This is an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles don't speak at the reader in the first person and say things like "brew a cup of Tea that is not only delicious to your taste buds but also great for your body. Our vision began with a simple concept, to bring the perfect cup of Tea to the masses." This as corporate ad-speak, hawking a product it is proclaiming to be great. An encyclopedia article tells just the verifiable facts, speaks from a neutral point of view and does not try to pump up a topic through opinion-laden proclamations lauding the topic.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:50, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- I see that the OP re-created the article as Nuovo tea instead of Nuovo Tea, and again it has been speedily deleted (twice). --David Biddulph (talk) 00:58, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
There has been an over decade long feud between the owners of NERO International and Alliance LARP. The feud is almost entirely one-directional, with NERO owners attacking Alliance LARP in various ways through cyberspace. The most common attacks are attempting to get the webpages of Alliance LARP deleted and attempting to snipe website names before Alliance can get them (the last attempt to do this failed because the owner of NERO International misspelled the name and sniped the wrong website). This deletion request was almost certainly a furthering of that feud. Alliance LARP is an international organization that currently has 17 chapters (http://alliancelarp.com/) and multiple online communities (http://alliancelarp.com/forum/). The owner of the LARP, Michael Ventrella, has been published in Dragon Magazine, is regularly invited as a guest to multiple conventions a year, and has published two full novels. Both he and his organization definitely fulfill the notability requirements for Wikipedia (which was the given reason for the page being deleted). -67.186.29.148 (talk) 22:57, 30 January 2014 (UTC) Also, as further evidence of relevance, this LARP was featured on an episode of G4 Underground, http://www.g4tv.com/videos/37846/g4-underground-larping-sunday-9pm-et/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.186.29.148 (talk) 23:46, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- @Aoidh: The allegation of persecution as the origin of the proposed deletion is so vanishingly unlikely (asserted without any analysis of how that proposed deletion came about) that it's almost a moral certainty you're incorrect. The user who prodded the article is an experienced Wikipedia editor who proposes deletion citing to our inclusion guidelines and has done so on numerous unrelated topics such that the fact that he prodded this one is wholly unremarkable. You should be more careful before throwing out accusations that don't stand up to scrutiny. Meanwhile, all you needed to do to have this undeleted, since it was deleted uncontroversially through prod, was to ask since prods are also uncontroversially undeleted (I feel reluctance to accede to your request because of your accusations, when it would have been pro forma to do so in their absence). I'll do so anyway but note that the fact it was undeleted does not mean it might not be deleted on the merits after a deletion discussion.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:27, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

I contacted Trivialist today after having deleted the article, which I just now re-uploaded after minor changes. His reason: "several ...". I believe he did not even read the article, nor did he look at the references. My article was already undeleted once before. All this back and forth has given this topic/article NIAMA-REISSER Technology a bad stinge, so that anybody thinks they can deleted right away. There is no advertisement in this article. It is factual content, boiled down to the functionality. I have researched their products extensively.
I have edited everything to meet the guidelines. In terms of notability: The COLUMBUS DISPATCH, Channel ABC6 and Channel Fox 28, Coshocton Tribune, Diesel Power Magazine, Ansys, Inc. Fortune 500.. all reported about their products and company. These articles and references have nothing to do with the company. I have listed several other articles like the ECOMOTOR, HUETTLIN, Felix Wankel....that all match mine in style, context and subject. There should not be a problem. Please make sure that the newly uploaded article does not get deleted again. Thanks,Alreim |

This page was very helpful to me in learning about Michael the Maven. I was very surprised at the deletion. I have no vested interest in his notoriety, but found him when searching for online photography courses via youtube. Whomever deleted it stated it was promotional in nature and lacked evidence of notability. Whomever deleted this page should not be editing. I found his products with many great reviews on Amazon, he has a highly publicized presence in photography magazines, has thousands of followers on facebook, etc. He also has a youtube channel that is highly visited. I wanted to tell someone about him and his photography courses but when I googled and clicked on this and it wasn't there, I was miffed. Some idiot is editing for wikipedia when they shouldn't be. There are the most lame, obscure entries... but someone who's products are highly recommended on Amazon gets their page removed? Really? You're better than that, wikipedia.

- Comment from deleting admin: Wikipedia doesn't have articles for the purpose of providing a small population of enthusiasts with information about non-notable authors. An author must meet the criteria spelled out in WP:NOTABILITY and WP:AUTHOR before meriting an article on Wikipedia. If you think the subject merits an article, please work on a draft article in your own sandbox instead of main article space. ~Amatulić (talk) 08:32, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Not done. Please read the links Amatulic gives above, and also WP:Verifiability: "any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source" and WP:No original research. It is good to publish information about little-known writers, but Wikipedia is not the place to do it, unless there is already significant coverage in reliable, independent, published secondary sources which can be summarised to make the article. Sources do not have to be in English, and they do not have to be on-line, but they must have been published so that they could be checked, they must be independent of the subject, and they must be reliable, i.e. from a source with editorial control, not blogs, fan-sites, Facebook etc. JohnCD (talk) 11:03, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Mr. Lucci
Mr. Lucci is of relevance because of the historical contributions he has made and still continues to make in the music industry. I gave verifiable links from Billboard, Amazon, allmusic and others. Nothing violated any copyrights and there was no promotion of things to come. If anything was questinable it would have been the film section, and that was do to non cite info at that very moment.
