This WikiProject covers articles related to statistics, including the history of statistics and biographies of statisticians. Articles within its scope include those in:
As of 27 March 2017, there are 7003360700000000000♠3,607 articles within the scope of WikiProject Statistics, of which 7000300000000000000♠3 are featured and 7001110000000000000♠11 are good articles. This makes up 0.07% of the articles on Wikipedia, 0.04% of all featured articles and lists, and 0.04% of all good articles. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, et cetera, there are 7003874000000000000♠8,740 pages in the project.
The list of statistics topics is being extended to include existing articles not previously listed and any new or unlisted statistics-related articles should be added. The list contains over 2750 items, including some redirects (18 February 2013: was 2642 on 17 October 2011; 2233 on 29 July 2009; 1731 on 31 December 2008; and 945 on 22 May 2008). The list is not at present very sophisticated and this project could undertake general improvements given that lists are far more versatile than categories. Look at lists of mathematics topics for examples.

Cleanup : Articles in WikiProject Statistics are regularly scanned automatically for cleanup templates. A list of statistics articles that need cleanup is here. You can help by reviewing the list and correcting any deficiencies.
Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them, are at least over 1,000 characters, do not have any dispute templates on them, and cite their sources, should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Wikipedia Main Page.
