[edit] Raw support history

The Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Updates deliver support for raw files from new cameras to both Aperture 2.x and iPhoto'08 and later. They require OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5.6 (10.5.3 for 2.2-2.5, 10.5.2 for 2.0 and 2.1). Before the release of Aperture 2, support for new raw formats was, with one or two exceptions, tied to updates of the operating system.
