Gauri Pradhan (born September 16, 1977) better known as Gauri Pradhan Tejwani is an Indian television actress.

Gauri Pradhan was born in Kashmir, India. Her father was a Major in the Indian Army. After he took retirement the family settled in Pune. Gauri has an older brother and a younger sister and is the only one in her family to have pursued acting. She attended SP College and began a degree in Electricals until she ventured into modelling.

Pradhan started her career with modelling, ramp work and commercials. She has done commercials for many well known companies such as Sprite, Bru, Dabur, Ponds, Santoor,keo karpin, Colgate, Philips and Breeze.[1] In 1998, she came to Mumbai to take part in Miss India and reached among the ten finalists. She made her acting debut in Noorjehan, the Mughal Empress. In October 2001 she rose to fame with the role of Gauri Agrawal/Mittal, in the Indian serial Kutumb. Shortly after the second series of Kutumb reached its end, she appeared in another family drama Naam Gum Jayega as the female lead; Priyanka Singh. After a string of cameos and a short series, Kya Haadsa Kya Haqueeqat Gauri entered the serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2004 as Nandini Thakkar, this was one of her popular roles. She has also made special appearances in other Indian series like Rihaee and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin on Sony. In March 2005, she entered the popular show Special Squad as the special squad head. In May 2008, she entered the youth oriented show Left Right Left as Shona Das, an army consultant.[2]

Pradhan married her co-star from 'Kutumb' and 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' Hiten Tejwani, on April 29, 2004 in her hometown of Pune.[3] They had first met in Hyderabad while doing an ad film for Breeze. Together they have two children, twins Nevaan and Katya, born November 11, 2009 at Lilavati Hospital.[4]
