List of Irish football champions

The Irish football champions are the winners of the highest league in Irish football. Founded in 1921 the inaugural winners were St. James's Gate. In total, 19 teams have won the League of Ireland with Shamrock Rovers the most successful side with 16 titles followed by Shelbourne with 13 titles and Bohemians 11.
Teams in bold are those who won the double of League Championship and FAI Cup.
Teams in italic bold are those who won the treble by adding the either the League of Ireland Shield (1921–1972) or League of Ireland Cup (1973–present) to the double.
