Shinchiku Prefecture
Shinchiku Prefecture (新竹州, Shinchiku-shū) was one of the administrative divisions of Taiwan during the Japanese rule. The prefecture consisted of modern-day Hsinchu, Taoyuan County, Hsinchu County, and Miaoli County.
