Connecticut State Parks[edit]

I noticed you made and worked on quite a few of the Connecticut state park articles, I'm in the process of adding information and updating them all. I started with Above All State Park and did Beaver Brook State Park today. All the editors who added and helped organize the data has been great to boosting the accessibility, but I was wondering if you had more details on these parks - to make sure I didn't miss anything. Sad to say, but not even the DEEP really knows the whole history of these parks, and that's perhaps why the data is so sparse and even secondary publications struggle to get a few good paragraphs on them. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Connecticut state parks may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Washington Monument State Park[edit]

Why did you change the coordinates in Washington Monument State Park to ones that display farther away from the monument than in the previous versions? -- Pemilligan (talk) 06:16, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The coordinates for the state park are now the same as the coordinates shown on the source material, referenced at footnote one, the GNIS Detail Report. The coordinates for the monument itself, which sits on Monument Knob, have been preserved in the added geobox line "Prominence Monument Knob"; those coordinates are the same as those shown on the source material referenced at footnote two.
