Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rachel Nichols (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:20, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Crunchyroll vs. Funimation licensing.

Hi there, I reverted a few of your recent edits, because you changed who was listed as the licensee in the infobox without providing a reliable source. There an an ongoing discussion about Crunchyroll vs. Funimation licensing over at WP:Anime, feel free to come and share your input if you have any questions/comments. Invitation to WikiProject Portals

The Portals WikiProject has been rebooted.

You are invited to join, and participate in the effort to revitalize and improve the Portal system and all the portals in it.

There are sections on the WikiProject page dedicated to tasks (including WikiGnome tasks too), and areas on the talk page for discussing the improvement and automation of the various features of portals.

Many complaints have been lodged in the RfC to delete all portals, pointing out their various problems. They say that many portals are not maintained, or have fallen out of date, are useless, etc. Many of the !votes indicate that the editors who posted them simply don't believe in the potential of portals anymore.

It's time to change all that. Let's give them reasons to believe in portals, by revitalizing them.

The best response to a deletion nomination is to fix the page that was nominated. The further underway the effort is to improve portals by the time the RfC has run its course, the more of the reasons against portals will no longer apply. RfCs typically run 30 days. There are 19 days left in this one. Let's see how many portals we can update and improve before the RfC is closed, and beyond.

A healthy WikiProject dedicated to supporting and maintaining portals may be the strongest argument of all not to delete.

We may even surprise ourselves and exceed all expectations. Who knows what we will be able to accomplish in what may become the biggest Wikicollaboration in years.

Let's do this.

See ya at the WikiProject!

Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   10:24, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look...

Unsourced content

Please don't add content that does not exist in the source cited, as you did in this edit. For example, you added that Vertigo Entertainment is co-producing The Tuning, yet "vertigo entertainment" does not appear anywhere in the source cited. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 23:07, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Red links exist to encourage article creation. For someone like Tyler Cook, who has gone through an WP:AFD, we shouldn’t encourage article creation because we know he isn’t notable based on the deletion discussion. See Wikipedia:Red link: “Red links should not be made to deleted articles unless the reason for the deletion of the article was not due to a lack of notability or the topic not being encyclopedic in another way.“ This is why the red link was removed from 2018 NBA draft. Rikster2 (talk) 11:14, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much

The RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up.

By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject.

I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity.

Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them.

If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience.

Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   22:39, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.: if you reply to this message, please {{ping}} me. Thank you. -TT

List of 2018–19 NBA season transactions

It is common for ownership of a pick to go unannounced in team press releases. Given this, leaving out the team's name when it trades its own picks can give the impressions that the ownership of these picks was not announced. Clarity is more important than considerations of redundancy. Please do not remove such information again. G. Timothy Walton (talk) 18:11, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Daryl Macon birthplace

Where are you getting he was born in Little Rock? He definitely lives there, but need proof he was born there. Rikster2 (talk) 22:02, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply. RealGM is never a reliable source for place of birth. They just take the hometown from the player’s college bio and slap it into that field. Rikster2 (talk) 22:18, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

References

I'm not sure if you know this but you need references, otherwise people like me will come along and dispute YOUR claim so all you have to do is proved a reliable source and ill let it be. Its a WIKIPEDIA rule that you have to proved a reliable source not mine. Dw122339 (talk) 14:46, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

When you update NBA deals

Could you please remove the pending transaction note at the top as part of your process? Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 22:48, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Wizards just tweeted out their training camp roster

If you want to update it. I'm getting in the car so won't be able to. Rikster2 (talk) 18:22, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Was being vandalized. I think I got it all, but noticed that you edited and left a pair of empty double brackets with this edit. The bit is "on a [[]] with the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League." Please take a look at it? Beware of new vandalism (or corrections to my mass revert) Thanks Jim1138 (talk) 07:54, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay so I did a follow up and checked for sources regarding Kaiju Girl Caramelise. As far as I have been able to tell, Media Factory was absorbed and disappeared. There is no website, no mention of it oN Monthly Comic Alive's website [2], and no mention of it on Kadokawa's website [3]. Distribution

How can you say that Pony Canyon was the distributor when later on on the page y'all put Eleven Arts as the distributor? Rick Grimes the survivor (talk) 20:23, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pony Canyon are the original distributor of the film. They distributed the film in Japan. Eleven Arts don't work in Japan as they're a U.S.-based company. Most of the time on Wikipedia, for non-U.S. films we put the original distributor and not even bother with putting the U.S. distributor. SimonLagann (talk) 20:53, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, A Playthrough of a Certain Dude's VRMMO Life, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe, and currently has zero in-depth coverage. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 10:40, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
