In the Asia Region for 2015 Rugby World Cup qualifying, one team will qualify directly to the world cup and the second place team will enter a playoff against the second place African team and the third place European and American teams.

The qualification process will include the top four levels of the Asian Five Nations tournaments. The winner of the 2014 Asian Five Nations will qualify directly to the 2015 Rugby World Cup as Asia 1, in Pool B, and the runner-up will advance to the repechage.

The winners of the Division 2 and Division 3 in 2012 will face each other for promotion to Division 1 in 2013. The last place team in Division 1 in 2012 will be eliminated from qualification to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

In 2013, the winner of Division 1 will earn promotion to the 2014 Asian Five Nations, which is the final qualification stage. The last place team in the Top 5 will be relegated to Division 1 and be eliminated from Rugby World Cup qualifying.

Round 1A Final: Division 2/3 Promotion

Thailand defeated India for promotion to the 2013 Asian Five Nations Division 1 and to remain in contention for Rugby World Cup qualifying. Thailand therefore advanced to Round 2A and India was eliminated from the Rugby World Cup Qualification process.

Round 1B: Asian Five Nations Division 1

The top team three teams, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei advances to Round 2, with Philippines being promoted to the main division in 2013. The last place team, Singapore, was eliminated from Rugby World Cup 2015 Qualifying.

All the games were played in Manila, Philippines at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.[1]

Round 2

Round 2A: 2013 Asian Five Nations Division 1

The tournament was played in Sri Lanka between 31 March and 6 April 2013.[2] The winner of this division and this stage of qualification, Sri Lanka, earned promotion to the main division for 2014 thus advancing to Round 3, which will be the final stage of Asian Rugby World Cup qualifying. The remaining three teams were eliminated from World Cup qualifying.
