Incorrect Name

Throughout the 1970's and 1980's there was no company called the WWF (World Wrestling Federation). This mistake happens numerous times throughout the entire page.

The Correct Name was WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation).

How does one create this page and not have that information in front of them?

Please make the necessary corrections. 2601:58B:100:2C60:C544:5D0D:47E5:33BA (talk) 19:49, 1 May 2021 (UTC) Thank You[reply]

The WWWF was renamed the WWF in 1979. GimliDotNet (talk) 19:27, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hulk Hogan's billed height needs to be changed from 6 ft 7 to 6 ft 8. He has been billed at 6 ft 8 than 6 ft 7 in his most famous matches like his match with Andre the Giant. Also, an article about Hulk Hogan's biography bills him at 6 ft 8.

To editor Onymousonymous:  Not done: there are inconsistencies in the sources you provide. For example, one source shows André the Giant's height as 74" in two places (obviously meaning 7 ft 4 in, not 6 ft 2 in), then later gives his height as 7 ft 5 in. Wikipedia will stick with the source it already has, which states Hulk Hogan's height as 6 ft 7 in. Thank you very much for your input! Pronunciation.

According to Bollea himself, the pronunciation given for his last name in this article is incorrect. The pronunciation is roughly "bo-LAY," NOT "buh-LAY-uh."

Someone with permission to edit the article should make the necessary changes.

Hulk Hogan scouted by Reds and Yankees?

...He didn't play organized sports in High School -- how could he have been scouted by TWO Major League franchises for a sport he didn't play in High School? There are quite a few articles regarding this online -- this should be edited to reflect this; added that 'Hulk Hogan' fabricated this story...along with many others.

(He is in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame...wrestling & little league baseball is mentioned, but no mention of his prowess or presence in organized baseball at either Saint Petersburg College or University of South Florida -- neither school has Hogan recorded as a member of their baseball programs. By virtue of this and the fact he didn't play organized sports in High School...he couldn't have been scouted by TWO Major League organizations.

Consistency in name

Throughout this article, it seems Bollea and Hogan are used randomly. Even individual paragraphs use the two names interchangeably. It makes for a confusing read. I think we should pick one and make consistent use of it. --SVTCobra 16:25, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bollea has been in a relationship with Jennifer McDaniel in early 2008.[1] The two were engaged in November 2009[1] and married on December 14, 2010, in Clearwater, Florida.[2][3]

Please note that Bollea has confirmed that he and McDaniel are now divorced.

Bollea began a relationship with Jennifer McDaniel since early 2008.[1] The two were engaged in November 2009[1] and married on December 14, 2010, in Clearwater, Florida.[4][5] On February 28, 2022, Bollea stated on his Facebook page that he and McDaniel divorced.[6] 2601:447:4000:220:6D5C:1945:15F8:FD19 (talk) 22:24, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done: So, this request has been sitting around for awhile. Been keeping an eye on it. You gave explicitly what you wanted added and your source seems reliable, so I've boldly completed it, as I don't perceive this to cause any WP:UNDUE or other policy related issues. Time shall tell if I am wrong, however. I mark this as partly done because I switched out Facebook for Twitter as that is what CNN used in the source.
