TNA Against All Odds

Do not add a TNA World Title match back in, no such match has been announced. It is a POSSIBLE match, but it has not been made official. Angle will only have to defened the title if Cage or Joe win the three-way dance on iMPACT, or if Styles wins and chooses to take the title shot (the other option is if Styles wins and choose to makeit so Angle doesn't have to defend the title until Lockdown). Religion

You seem very intelligent for a 16 year old, congratulations. I am also 16. Some may be quite surprised that I have developed such an opinion on life because of my age. Nevertheless, that is not the issue at hand.
  • 1. The Big Bang Theory, is what it is, a theory. It is not fact, yet. But the thing is, is that it is so widely accepted, it might as well be fact. No one, and I mean no one, argues over the big bang anymore, they accept it, because it is a far superior theory to any other.
  • 2. Who says that there was no time before the Big Bang? Also, I hope you are familiar with Black Holes. That is similar to the beginning of the universe. The universe was tiny, but extremely dense and compact. The matter was crushed into a tiny little spot. It heated up and rapidly expanded (exploded is an incorrect term). WillC, we all have to accept, that in this universe, there are going to be things that we can't understand. To intelligent for the Human Brain. There are a lot of questions to be asked, most we probably won't understand, or ever find out.
  • 3. Life can't begin from nothing? Earth was given the perfect conditions for life to exist. The first life to exist was bacteria, it developed because it was possible due to climate, temperature, atmosphere etc. It evolved and kept evolving, and here we are!
  • 4. Let's assume that you are correct, that it is impossible for the universe to be created naturally. You automatically assume that it was God. Why? Because a book says so. A book says there is an imaginary being, wathing over us. If I wrote a book which said: GuffasBorgz7 was God!. Does that make it true? No! Of course not, people wouldn't believe it for one second. Why? Because there is no proof. Same with religion, no proof it exists. Even if you are right about the Big Bang Theory (I don't think that you are) you cannot prove it was God.

Sure. :) If you need to request protection for any article, hit the tab that says "rpp" at the top. From there you fill out a brief form and it's submitted. I'm probably pushing my luck here, but would you mind taking a personality test for me? Its modern form isn't an accurate science by any means (~53%-60%), but it is useful in that it will allow me to relate you to some classical psychological models. I hope you don't mind me conducting a critical analysis of your personality :). It's just something I do for fun. Note, there are no good or bad results, and no type is smarter than another, so be as honest as possible should you choose to take it. The test can be found here. Mmm, yes, the test's statistical unreliability rears its ugly head yet again. However, I can determine a fair amount of information from this. It sounds to me like you can learn anything you wish to learn, due to the S-N not being set in stone. You can think in both abstract (pattern oriented) and concrete (detail oriented) ways. However, at the same time, you will be more comfortable making value-based judgments, as opposed to conducting a critical analysis due to the F being consistent. You have trouble being objective and impersonal; you are more concerned about the effect on people than the overriding effects. If people are involved, the issue is now important to you. You may also have a strong love for animals, and they probably love you back. Now, if you are interested in a science related field for a career, the social sciences are probably where you would like to go. Subjective logic is very well-suited to conducting an analysis of people. Anyways, you are also more quiet than you are outgoing, and more malleable and adapting than rigid and organized, though the two are pretty close. Anyways, if you're curious about me, I am outgoing, I think in more abstract ways, I make decisions based on objective rather than subjective logic, and I am adaptable and disorganized. The reason it won’t work is because those PPV's don't have their own Templates. The WWE PPV template integrates the templates of all other WWE PPV's, which is why they show up in the main PPV template without complications. --UnquestionableTruth-- 04:16, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lockdown 08

I'm going to look over Lockdown (2008) soon, probably later tonight. Take a look at this article, it is an extremely good article that you can use to help source the article. Okay. I've done some pretty heavy copyediting in the article. Here is the difference. Look it over so you know exactly what changes I made, so you don't make the same mistakes in the future. Here are some things that really stuck out to me about your writing:

  • The writing style was very informal. Don't write an article as if you are talking to a friend. Write it as if it is a report to be turned in at school and graded.
  • Numbers should be spelled out. 8 --> eight
  • Leave out point of view. Ex: "It was a good match" and "unfortunately" - stick to the facts
  • All the paragraphs in the background section began with "Another feud going into Lockdown". I changed a couple of instances. Try sentence variety.
  • Make sure sentences are complete, with a subject, verb, and direct object.
  • iMPACT! is a television show, so it should be in italics.
  • Later is spelled with only one T. Latter --> Later
  • Spell out contractions. Wouldn't --> would not
  • The background and aftermath sections are a lot longer than the event section. I tried to remedy this a bit, but it needs more work. The event itself should be the focus of the article. For example, why describe in detail what happens at Sacrifice in the aftermath, when that should be covered in the event section of that article?
  • Only capitalize proper nouns and the first word of a sentence.

The MARRIED section in John Cena's article is (I almost hate to say it {sarcasm}), COMPLETELY USELESS!!! It doesn't work on improving the article. It's almost an article in itself of untrue rumors. I disagree. They should be deleted. WP:CSD states:
  1. Templates that are not employed in any useful fashion, and are either: substantial duplications of another template, or hardcoded instances of another template where the same functionality could be provided by that other template, may be deleted after being tagged for seven days.
These templates are clearly not employed in any useful fashion, as your user page is the only one to link to them. They are also substantial duplications of {{TNAPPV}}, which provides the same links. In my opinion, this means that they should be deleted. You may disagree with this policy, but it is policy after all.

Please keep in mind that the period of seven days is only required for templates to be deleted under CSD T3, not for, e.g., those that are deleted under the G4 criterion (recreation of deleted material).
The fact that I didn't propose to delete the WWE navboxes is, in my opinion, completely irrelevant to this argument. You can not expect me to check every single template on Wikipedia. I have put the category on my todo list, to check them as soon as I have time. I do not care who created the template, I didn't even know they were made by an administrator before you told me. The point isn't that there shouldn't be a navbox to link these articles, the point is that this is already done well enough by {{TNAPPV}}. RE: Templates

The PPV templates for WWE were created because a fair number of the PPVs of each name (New Year's Revolution, Backlash, Judgment Day, etc.) were receiving their own article's as part of WP:PW's PPV expansion project, which I know you are aware of. As for the TNA ones, I would have to agree with the user above, aside from the Bound for Glory, Slammiversary, and Lockdown ones. They should be kept as every PPV from each names as their own article's. The rest should be deleted as only a select few have individual PPV articles. –LAX 22:38, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I know of. If any get TfDed, however, don't remove the TfD template. Let it go through the process and wait out the outcome. If deleted, then so be. Its an image taken from WWE.com. It even has the same resolution that images from WWE.com have (456 x 352). Because it was taken directly from WWE.com it is a copyrighted image and does not fall under Free Use. Hope that helps. Well... On a side note... I have just performed the second copyedit to the article. It should be ready for the mainspace. RE:TNA templates

Hello! Well at first I read the talk page, and was not going to delete them, but then I looked at the "link" and saw that the templates were not being used as templates. All the links in the templates just linked to the page that the template was linked to. I really don't understand what they were being used for. Templates can have links to them and still be deleted if the templates themselves aren't being used as templates. Out of curiousity, what admin are you talking about? And it is best to link to where an admin says something, instead of just stating they said something. Also, I would be glad to place the content of the templates on a user subpage for you if you still want to work on them. Just let me know.
