The 1st Test was moved from [[Ahmedabad]] to [[Chennai]] and the 2nd Test from [[Mumbai]] to [[Mohali]]. After initially flying home, [[England national cricket team|England]] flew out to [[Abu Dhabi]] on 4th December for a training camp, with the intention of going on to India for the test series. However, the test series remains in doubt, again for security reasons.

The International cricket in 2008-09 is defined as the season of international cricket between September 2008 and April 2009 in all cricket playing countries. Matches between May 2008 and August 2008 are defined as belonging to the 2008 season, while matches between May 2009 and August 2009 will fall under the 2009 season.

ICC Americas Division 1 Championship
