Image sugguestions for Clow cards article
I was thinking of adding the images from the link you suggestion on the Clow cards talk page, but i need to know which licence it should fall under (Since all multimedia content has to fall under a specific licence in order to be a legit piece of content.), any ideas. Please reply on my talk page.--Dynamo_ace 09:20, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
Da Capo Second Season
Oh thanks, you're right, I shouldn't have deleted Da Capo Second Season from List of anime. In future I'll just delink similar articles (like eatman '98 for example) so that they aren't red links. - Squilibob 06:16, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
The copy-paste move of the article has been fixed. The histories and content of the two talk pages have been merged to match the article's current location. Double redirects resulting from the first move from FUNimation have also been fixed. The question remains whether "...Entertainmnet" is a plausible enough misspelling to be kept as a redirect. That's now WP:RFD material. — FREAK OF NURxTURE (TALK) 06:16, Jan. 4, 2006
- Thanks for that. I was intending to RfD the misspelt article once the contents had been retrieved. Shiroi Hane 07:48, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Wrong post
Ah, sorry about signing the wrong post on the Cardcaptor Sakura talk page. Got a bit carried away. Its just i don't like it when people don't sign their posts because other users don't know who is saying what.
Once again i aplogize. -Dynamo_ace Talk
Thanks
For the heads up, but why weren't you bold and edited it? Would have saved both of us time ;-). Circeus 02:56, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- Moving a template does not break articles (and since the template hadn't been added to any page, just editing template talk:Digimon afterward would have made the whole point moot). Circeus 03:00, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- Eh, no prob. If you,re interested in the Franchose, tere's a lot ofwork upcoming in categorizing, creating and splitting stuff around (Digimon should be split in *many* articles and kept as a overview of the franchise). Circeus 03:06, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- I am speedy deleting {{Digimon frontiers}} because it is not needed. Only 3 articles included the link (Circeus's talk page was one of them) so I changed the link to {{Digimon frontier}}. x42bn6 Talk 02:33, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm trying to get some stuff done over at the digimon wikiproject, and have reorganized the project page. I also added a To-do list. In hoping we can collaborate. Circeus 17:09, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

non-english links on Tokyo Mew Mew
Regarding the korean links. I would start with the talk page, Talk:Tokyo Mew Mew. If it remains an issue, try the village pump or request for comment Good luck ;) ∴ here…♠ 23:13, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Hey there
I saw your struggle over at Agumon rolling over my watchlist (kinda like a sticom episode, really), and want to point 2 things:
- The licensing for the pic is fuzzy at best: it falls in neither at the templates on it covered, so I put a nolicense tag on it. It might end up deleted.
- Why not put the pic at the top? There's nothing to prevent having 2 different characters that happen to be the same species there. At worst, put a link to the season or section in the pic caption.
Circeus 20:55, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
- "from the Digimon series of cartoons or video games", so I'm assuming it's implying screenshots.Maybe a treck to the copyright team is in order. Also, it'snot {{film-screenshot}}, but {{tv-screenshot}}. {{Non-free fair use in}} is definitely appropriate for the Savers Agumon, and {{promotional}} is likely an option.
- You know, actually, digimon images are a mess as far as copyright is concerned. Definitely a to-do for the project. I'm planning for an improvement in categorization of characters soon, too. Circeus 21:14, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Actualy there were two other images that were recently removed. Feel free to contribute to the article. :) --Cool CatTalk|@ 21:13, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry the removsl of AFD notice was unintentional. --Cool CatTalk|@ 02:20, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- No probs. For the record: I'm not for deletion of the page, although I don't agree with the loanword statement (I don't even know who Gwen wossnim is) and do not want to get into the middle of a revert war if I can help it. Shiroi Hane 02:26, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- I am at least not suggesting it is a load word, I am merely suggesting it may (not will or is) turn out to be one as more and more people seem to be using it. That should be perfectly fine with NPOV right? --Cool CatTalk|@ 04:29, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Bananas
You might examine the cover of Hollaback Girl which displays the text "THIS S#!@ IS BANANAS!" (see Image:HGG.jpg) and reconsider your stance on the redirect. — Feb. 21, '06 [00:10] <freakofnurxture|talk>

Nihongo template
I'm not sure why you keep changing the formatting on the magipoka page since Smith (スミス, sumisu) and Smith (スミス, sumisu) both do exactly the same thing, so to make an edit simply to change from one to the other seems pointless. I was under the impression that the former was the preferred version, although I'll admit that, thinking about it, I cannot remember where I got that impression. Shiroi Hane 21:13, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- Smith (スミス, sumisu) makes everything look cleaner, and in the case of Smith (スミス, sumisu) and Smith (スミス, sumisu), they do not produce the same results. That's why I changed the magipoka page. The Smith (スミス, sumisu) makes the kanji/kana appear in a pseudo italics that makes it hard to read. Because of this, it's best to always have them inside the template rather than outside. --日本穣 Nihonjoe 00:09, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I never really use bold/italic, looks like it does something wierd when mixed with the template. Shiroi Hane 00:14, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, the bold/italic is used for titles and such, and I run into it frequently. That's why I think it's important to get people used to putting them inside the template rather than outside: less cleanup work later. (^_^) -日本穣 Nihonjoe 00:18, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Interestingly (or pointlessly.. hard to tell the difference at 3am), if you must have bolditalic you can also use Smith (スミス, sumisu). Shiroi Hane 01:51, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thing is, the template takes care of the italics for the rōmaji, so the only thing that requires markup is the "English" part. The markup isn't included in the template so that the template can be used for titles as well as in the body of articles. --日本穣 Nihonjoe 02:02, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!
Don't know where you might've seen it, but it's cool to know that someone just happened to spot it somewhere in that sort of context. :D I did a commentary for the previous Transformers set - the first Japanese-exclusive series, Headmasters - and I'm doing it again for the next series, Super-God Masterforce. Although it's just been pushed back from the end of this month to the first week of friggin' July, grumble grumble. - Chris McFeely
kiddy Grade
I notice that you have an interest in Kiddy Grade, from the article history. Unfortunatly, the entire article was copied from another site. I am currently wikifying the page to improve layout and ease of use, but all the text remains copied. If display enough interest to assist me in retyping up the bios of the characters it would be helpful. Thanks --Crampy20 21:44, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- A lot of the text of the page was copied by someone from my site (it was originally listed as a reference in the earliest history but ended up in links), but I don't mind. Shiroi Hane 21:33, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Specifically, the information was dumped in verbatim here, along with a citation. For whatever reason the citation was removed here and never re-instated (Since the link itself was still there I've left well so as not to fall afoul of WP:EL). I found out about the wiki article through my site logs and my first edit to the article, prior to registering, is here. Shiroi Hane 02:30, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Yep, I decided to just kill them, after fiddling with the formatting for about 3 minutes, I got sick of it and used every editor's favorite tool, the delete key. I then created a new article for Éclair, complete with the accent marks. Now, the next question is, do I have to AfD it? --tjstrf 22:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- My edit, which was lost in the conflict, was to add a {{-}} before the nav template to cancel any prior formatting out which fixed the problem. I do think you removed too many images as the main ones of Eclair and Lumiere in their SC0326 versions would still be useful, and are a lot less spoilerific than the current images so are preferable in a way. Shiroi Hane 02:30, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- If you think the original images were prefereable, by all means, reinstate them! I simply wanted to get the one of the two out of the infobox. --tjstrf 04:52, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Kiddy Grade Move
Thank you very very much for your contribution to the Kiddy Grade article. I don't wish to scare from editing, but the articles are going through AfD, and may be up for deletion. While that is occurring, the pages have to stay as they are, the formatting can change, but we can't move them around. I am sorry for this, I agree with this change, just not yet. --Crampy20 11:28, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- FYI I have been editing the main Kiddy Grade article for over a year, almost as long as it has existed. I have not moved any articles, all I have done is create a proper list of episodes which was suggested in the Peer Review you yourself initiated and does not fall under the auspices of the KG characters AFD. Kiddy Grade userbox
I've seen your Kiddy Grade userbox. It looks nice. Don't you have any plans on introducing it to the anime userboxes section? It's certainly worth an addition. - 上村七美 | talk 13:20, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks :) Well, I looked through the instructions on creating userboxes and they basically said "do not create new userboxes as templates" so I didn't. I listed it on the "new userboxes" page but nothing on there is going to get much attention. Other people are still making userbox templates and listing them in plain view (e.g. at least three other Haruhi userboxes have shown up since I made mine), but I learned as a child that, if I see someone doing something I don't think they should be doing but aren't being told off for it, as soon as I join in as well I get told off. Shiroi Hane 13:32, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- PS, if you wanted to use it the instructions are here. Shiroi Hane 13:41, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it takes time before anyone would take notice of a new userbox in the anime userboxes section, ranging from right at the day it is posted to a few months. A good example is the Prince of Tennis template. Two users finally used it roughly two or three months after I set it up. But from what I understand about the instructions, what you said ("do not create new userboxes as templates") is just a suggestion and not a rule, but I respect your decision not to.
- I might use your Kiddy Grade template in my userpage and see if it takes notice. - 上村七美 | talk 17:13, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
2003 anime sales/viewers
Hi. Thanks for listing at User:GunnarRene/Sources. Would you mind looking at your May, June and October 2003 issues of Newtype and see if you see sales figures for RahXephon in the US, and possibly Japan?--GunnarRene 22:58, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- RahXephon Volume 1 was ranked 4th in the US DVD sales chart for the Jun 2003 issue (Source: Diamond Comics, March 2003). You didn't mention the March edition, however RahXephon volume 6 is ranked #10 in DVD sales for Japan. Shiroi Hane 23:20, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. :-) --GunnarRene 14:29, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Would you mind looking at the november 2003, and april 2004 issues too? Only the US DVD sales there, I think. Please let me know if there's anything I can do in return. :-) --GunnarRene 18:15, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Discussion on renaming character pages of Otome characters with HiME counterparts
Linkforlife and I are planning to hold a discussion at Talk:Juliet Nao Zhang about renaming Nao's, Mashiro's and Chie's pages so that information on their HiME counterparts can be added. I humbly request that you please join the discussion as a valued member of the unofficial HiME-Otome Wikipedia community, especially since one of the articles in question is Chie Hallard, which the History reveals you as having had great interest in. Could I also ask that you please help gather our fellows for the sake of the discussion? --Warp L. Obscura 12:09, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Help with resources
Hi Shiroi! I think there is some talk about Serial Experiments Lain in the Napier book you list in your ressources. Is there any chance you might help me with that? I'll be watching your talk page.--SidiLemine 13:27, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- According to the index it's mentioned on pages:
- xiv: as an example of an anime more popular in the US than in Japan ("..widely praised by American scholars, critics, and fans").
- xvii: As an example of ABe's work.
- 169: Just a Duvet quote.
- 170-171: As an example of the "disappearing shōjo" in the chapter of the same name ("This disappearance can be literal, as with Lain's fading into the static of a television monitor at the ed of the series").
- 177-181: Comparison of Lain and Utena ("the final effect of Lain, as with Utena, is to make us question the borders between illusion and reality. In Lain's case this question is posed through cyberpunk science fiction rather than fantasy")
- 186-188: Comparison of Lain and Spirited Away ("In both cases the girls are drawn unwillingly into an unreal world that is both alluring and threatening").
- 190-192: Brief mention in compaison with Haibane Renmei ("Lain also begins with he suicide of a young girl") and summary comparing all four series discussed in the chapter.
- Was there anything specific you were looking for? Shiroi Hane 17:58, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you so much Shiroi! That's just what I was hoping for. I wasn't looking for anything particular, it's just that the book had been mentioned at the FAC as necessary for claims of comprehensiveness. Now I can see what to include or not, and dissmiss objecitons! Another source that was cited as very important is the January 2005 review by Newtype USA. Have you got that?--SidiLemine 13:17, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Apparently I have it, its just a matter of finding it... Shiroi Hane 14:06, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've got it from theFarix. Thanks!--SidiLemine 11:19, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
I've reverted your date edits to Virgin Media in line with what this section[1] of WP:DATE says should be followed. I didn't like doing it, I have done date edits this exact same way myself until I was pulled up over them. I love the way that the ISO date format is totally unambiguous so that anyone could understand it, unfortunately it causes problems for new Wikipedia users and so the consensus decided that it shouldn't be used in the prose part of articles, which I can understand when I turn my date preferences off - dates like this can seem odd for new users. - X201 08:06, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ach.. I was fixing the dates in the reference templates and just did all the others while I was at it... Shiroi Hane 06:15, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Digimon Kōshiki Daizukan VI
From your comments on the Project Page, I'm assuming you have this, so I'm wondering if you can help me with some digivolutions (and if there's any profile info, that would be awesome as well).
I need to know if the book has digivolutions for: Conomon, Ketomon, Kiimon, Paomon, Reremon, and Zerimon.
Obviously, I know what they digivolve to, but I'm trying to provide adequate sourcing, and I can't actually find anything that confirms the accepted digivolutions.
Thanks! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KrytenKoro (talk • contribs) 03:37, 25 July 2007.
- Here are the evolutions given for the partners in Kōshiki Daizukan VI:
- On page 7 it defines Guilmon's "Shinka Route" as Jyarimon > Gigimon > Guilmon > Growmon > Megalogrowmon > Megidramon(Ankokushinka) / Dukemon / Dukemon Crimson Mode
- On page 11 it defines Terriermon's "Shinka Route" as Zerimon > Gummymon > Terriermon > Gargomon > Rapidmon > Saintgargomon.
- on page 13 it defines Renamon's "Shinka Route" as Reremon > Pokomon > Renamon > Kyubimon > [Taomon]* > Sakuymon
- *it actually says Rapidmon but I'm taking that as a misprint... Taomon's is pictured above.
- On page 15 it defines Guardromon's "Shinka Route" as ??? > Kapurimon > ??? > Guardromon > Andromon
- On page 19 it defines Lopmon's "Shinka Route" as Kokomon > Chocomon > Lopmon > ??? > Andiramon
- On page 21 it defines Cyberdramon's "Shinka Route" as ??? > Hopmon > Monodramon > ??? > Cyberdramon > Justimon
- On page 24 it defines Impmon's "Shinka Route" as Kiimon > Yaamon > Impmon > ??? > ??? > Beelzebumon / Beelzebumon Blast Mode
- OK, Shaomon's profile in the Digimon Visual Dictionary states 「パオモンが進化した幼年期デジモン。」, or in other words, Shaomon evolves from Paomon. Neither Conomon nor Ketomon seem to be in there. Nor are they in the index at the back of the Kōshiki Daizukan. Shiroi Hane 17:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Conomon would be the Fresh form of Lopmon - I think the original was Chocomon, and then Cocoamon. Or something like that. Bugger. But anyway - thanks, a LOT. This really helps with the sourcing - I just need to get Ketomon to Hopmon from somewhere.KrytenKoro 02:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- With that done, could you help me on setting up the cite for it? Here's the template I found:
- [removed]
- I'm fairly certain that I misinterpreted bits somewhere, but...yeah KrytenKoro 22:04, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula
I think the numbers of the gigantics should not be homogenized because the official name from the website are given the way it is. 66.183.215.186 22:12, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- They should probably all in fact all be written "name-roman numeral" as they were in the Newtype article, this matches with the material provided with the first DVD where Susanoo is written 「スサノヲ十式」 as on the official site but romanized as "Sxano-X". Shiroi Hane 00:10, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

"that would be just a form of animated character"
What's that supposed to mean? Transformers aren't animated, they are computer-generated, because I was referring to the live-action movie, if that's not a good example, the two Garfield movies, about a cat talking could be a good example too. No? What else do you want? 82.148.70.2 (talk) 14:56, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Clannad
Hello Shiroi Hane. I just reverted your deletion of the disambiguation link to Clannad that I put on the Clannad (visual novel) page. You are right - nobody would look for Clannad (visual novel) if they wanted to find out about the band. However they might type CLANNAD in caps, which redirects to the visual novel page. If they read the page, they will soon find a link to the band, so they will not be lost for too long, but I considered that the disambiguation link would be more helpful. That is why I reverted your edit. Best wishes Northernhenge (talk) 23:02, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Digimon Wiki
I know the Digimon WikiProject has kind of died off on wikipedia after the transwiki, but we're still going strong at the [Digimon Wiki]. I was wondering if you'd like to join over there, so that we can get the old team back together and really make the place something to be proud of. Naruto character reception
Per the comments at the peer review for List of Naruto characters, I was asked to check with the magazine library to determine whether there was any critical reception on the Naruto characters. As you own copies of a plethora of anime and manga publications, I was curious whether such reception was present in these magazines so it can be incorporated into the article, which is being prepped for a run at WP:FLC. Thanks, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 05:53, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Request for book Lucky Star Official Guide Book: Ryo-oh Gakuen High School Entrance Guide
Since I am in the process of cleaning up List of Lucky Star characters, I may need the content of this book as source. Please notify me on your options, thanks! --Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 20:38, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I'm not going to give it to you (my copy is slightly water damaged anyway) :p - let me know what information you require and if I can find it (bearing in mind my Japanese is very basic) I can provide you with the citation details or photos of the pages if it is only a couple. I do have a few sample pictures here. Shiroi Hane (talk) 11:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Digimon Koushiki Daizukan clarification
Sorry for disturbing but I was wondering what the exact translation names are for the following Digimon:
- Arukenimon (I've seen archnemon written but I'm unsure whether that's an official translation or not)
- Pitimon (I've seen Pichimon written but I'm unsure whether that's an official translation or not as well as Pitchmon being a confirmed name)
- Gotsumon (seen it written as Gottsumon as well, officially, but is "Gotsumon" also an official spelling?)
- Chuumon
- MarineDevimon
- MarineAngemon
- Piximon
- Kentarumon
- Jureimon
- Chimeramon
--90.211.97.241 (talk) 02:06, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- The problem with these books is that, for non-main characters, the English name is written (in capitals) in the background of the image so it always partially obscured and is sometimes obviously incorrect or is contradicted by other sources. In order that I found them:
- Gotsumon - ?mon.
- Jureimon - Jyu?eimon
- Chimeramon - Chim?ir?mon
- MarineDevimon - Marindevimon
- MarineAngemon - Marineangemon
- Chuumon - Chumon
- Kentarumon - Centalmon
- Piximon - Picklemon
- Arukenimon - Ar?hn?mon
- Pitimon - Pitchmon

Speedy deletion declined: Shimo Fumihiko
Hello Shiroi Hane, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Shimo Fumihiko - a page you tagged - because: not a valid reason, remove the links to here from the article instead. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. SoWhy 11:05, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with the above comment. Just because you think a page is not helpful does not mean it qualifies for speedy deletion. There are other deletion processes for pages that don't meet the very narrow speedy criteria. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 21:02, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:Digimon savers
A tag has been placed on Template:Digimon savers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:10, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
Royal Knights
The Royal Knights page needs the images uploaded, but I'm really burned out and wikipedia's image is (rightly) tedious to use. Could you finish it when you have time? Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 20:05, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
- The images were already there, it's just that someone had tried to copy and paste the page from Wikia where the images have different names, while also breaking links, adding redlinks that don't exist here, removing templates, removing interwiki links etc. Shiroi Hane (talk) 16:57, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Is there any parts of the page that are still a problem? I went ahead and just removed the red links, since wikipedia doesn't have real information on most of them anyway.99.39.88.159 (talk) 20:56, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Dengeki G's Magazine December 2005–March 2006 issues
Hi, Shiroi Hane. I am currently looking for additional sources for To Heart 2, and found on the official website that the PC version, To Heart 2 XRATED, received coverage in the December 2005–March 2006 issues of Dengeki G's Magazine. I saw in the WP:ANIME/M library that you have those issues, and I am wondering if you can provide scans or transcripts of the To Heart 2 coverage in them. Orphaned non-free image File:Koromon.gif
Thanks for uploading File:Koromon.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:23, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
