  • Davutoğlu, Ahmet is a professor, an ambassador, previously the chief advisor to the Prime Minister of Republic of Turkey on foreign policy, and currently the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He was granted a title of ambassador by the joint decision of President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Prime Minister Abdullah Gül published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Turkey dated 18 January 2003.
