yes, BBC SPORT is indeed a reliable source for football matters, but in this case it is WRONG. I used the edit summaries in the proper page, i used the article's talk, all i see to no avail, but i'll repeat it here: FULL NAME "José Manuel Flores Moreno", SPORTING NAME "Chico". "Chico Flores" is a name/nickname compound, thus wrong OK?

I don't contest those numbers, far from me to do that. It's just that Kaká is not known as "Ricardo Kaká" or "Kaká Leite", Ronaldinho not known as "Ronaldo Ronaldinho" or "Ronaldinho Assis", and i could give a "few" thousand more examples. I repeat, i have brought the discussion at WP:FOOTY, case closed for me, if they write "Chico Flores" fine, if they write "Chico" ditto, i know it's the latter that is correct.

Show me your evidence. I showed you mine. There will be no English source of a "Kaka Leite", you're right, and that's because it's not his common name here - or to my knowledge anywhere. However, as I've shown you, there's plenty of evidence here that this player is known IN ENGLAND as Chico Flores - heck, and his Spanish article is even titled as such! Diego Costa

Hi there TAD,

I tried to reach a compromise in this guy's intro between your edits and mine, asking please not to be rolledback. You did exactly that, seems that i, like the blocked user, am not also welcome to edit in there. Yes i also reverted you but then, seeing the error of my ways, immediately reinstated most of your stuff, you reverted it ALL because (as you say in a previous summary) my English is viewed as "poor" (or "flawed").

But i did that anyway, reverting (for the umpteenth time!) a guy who wrote "...is a Brazilian-born Spanish footballer...", intros are supposed to be kept simple. And reverting you in the SPONSORSHIP section, no need to wikilink Sevilla FC as it is already in the CLUB CAREER section.
