Population data
You changed the population estimates in the infoboxes of several countries, including China, Bangladesh and Egypt. In all cases the estimate had a reliable source, often that country's department of statistics or something similar. Your edits gave the impression that the new numbers still had the same source; you did not provide one for your changes. Thus, I have reverted all of those edits. If you know of better sources, please make them explicit with your edits; just changing the numbers without updating the source is not helpful. Yours, Huon (talk) 17:46, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

2012 Mexico bus crash
Hey! Thanks for creating the article 2012 Mexico bus crash! I have a question: Can you read and translate from Spanish to English? I wanted to suggest for you to use Spanish-speaking articles to expand the page you created. I have a week left of school, so after I finish, I'll see if I can aid you with the project. I know that there are many sources in Spanish on the details, causes, aftermath, and reactions of the crash. Thank you and keep it up. ComputerJA (talk) 07:56, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to 1575 Valdivia earthquake, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Zad68

Thank you for your article about the 2012 Iran Earthquakes! Your content is currently part of a live article, 2012 Tabriz earthquakes. Note, however, that other content had to be removed because it was word-for-word identical with the references provided, such that it constituted a violation of the creator's copyright. Thank you.

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2012 Romanian political crisis, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Silvrous Talk 08:41, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages
Thank you for your recent articles, including 2011 in Europe. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. This can help you too, as the WikiProject members will often defend your work from deletion and try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information. Thank you for your recent articles, including 2013 Romania public employee protests, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2013 protests in Turkey may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Copy-paste move
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give 2014 L'Isle-Verte Nursing Home fire a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2014 L'Isle-Verte nursing home fire. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Edit summaries
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. --220 of Borg 09:20, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- I am somewhat embarassed to template an editor with over 3,000 edits, but edits such as this [1] at 2014 South Korean ferry capsizing need an edit summary, at least. However I have reverted your edit because: 1) we do need a map to show where the sinking occurred, and 2) Though I found it out later, that diagram (File:Capsizing of Sewol Ferry.png) may well be a copyright violation. --220 of Borg 09:20, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Cut and paste moves
Please do not move articles but blanking one and redirecting it to a new one. If you want to rename an article, you must use the Move tab on the top of the article - if this doesn't work, you have to follow the WP:RM process. Cut and paste moves are not allowed on Wikipedia. I have cleared up the one you did on the referendum article. Thanks, Number 57 15:07, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
