Wikipedia:Draft:তেলুগু ভাষা, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Draft:তেলুগু ভাষা and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:Draft:তেলুগু ভাষা during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. : Noyster (talk), 09:52, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate (out-of-context) pages, such as Draft:Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, might not be in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 86.178.17.201 (talk) 00:20, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Domenick Nati II, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Deletion discussion about Kasumalgarh

Hello, CasetteTapeMaster,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Kasumalgarh should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kasumalgarh .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, De728631 (talk) 17:24, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Erina

Hi there. You've created Erina language as a redirect to Khowar language. Do you know if there are any sources that list is an alternative name? Thanks. Uanfala (talk) 22:30, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It gives in Wikipedia about Khowar alternative name Arinya --CasetteTapeMaster (talk) 22:32, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
But that's Arniya, not Erina. I take it that you haven't seen "Erina" outside of wikipedia? In this case, I'll be nominating the redirect for deletion. Uanfala (talk) 23:30, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, it's me again. Do you have an idea how "Erina" is spelt in Khowar or Urdu? Thanks. Uanfala (talk) 12:09, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia/Erina listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia/Erina. Since you had some involvement with the Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia/Erina redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Uanfala (talk) 12:14, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Erik Kramer. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. GiantSnowman 11:46, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That's not really vandalism, but very solidly within WP:NOTESSAY. Uanfala (talk) 12:03, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. DVdm (talk) 10:17, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vu Digital

Why did you re-create Draft:Vu Digital? It was deleted and for good reason. I can only assume you are a paid contributor, which is violating our terms of use. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:09, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Chris troutman, I hope you didn't expect you could write something like that without anyone coming along and reminding you of WP:AAF? Uanfala (talk) 21:17, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Uanfala: I assume you meant WP:AGF? AGF is for when there's doubt about the facts, which I seldom struggle with. The original draft was promotional dreck. It was deleted for being a stale draft, if I recall correctly. Now it's been re-created and is still promotional. Do I believe CasetteTapeMaster is just wiki-gnoming around? Please. Look at the rest of this talk page. A reasonable person could deduce that this account is for rent and might be socking, too. If there's a a better explanation I'd like to hear it. I can tell you this, the volunteers at AfC deserve better than to have this draft re-inserted into their queue. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:30, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Chris troutman: Ah, yes, it was WP:AGF that I meant. The original draft might have been promotional dreck but the current isn't, or at least it doesn't look promotional to me. Look at the rest of this talk page Precisely because of such arguments it's a good idea if we apply due diligence before posting templated messages: a series of editors overreacting or wrongly assuming bad faith doesn't make for a good collaborative environment. But yes, look at the rest of the talk page. there are 4 "bad" notices, two of them concern test edits, the one about "vandalism" refers in fact to an unencyclopedic addition and the CSD notice just below was inappropriate. Uanfala (talk) 21:48, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Vu Digital requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20150303006597/en/Women-Host-Neil-Patrick-Harris-Big-Winners. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Chris Troutman (talk) 21:14, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Troutman, only one paragraph was copied from the web page you mention, so the article doesn't qualify for speedy deletion. Thanks. Uanfala (talk) 21:24, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Draft:This Week in WWE requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://web.archive.org/web/20150319192548/http://watchwwelive.net/watch-this-week-in-wwe-17-1-15/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Also, Draft:Space exploration technologies: copied from http://lurch2.blogspot.ca/2015_07_01_archive.html; Draft:Colors TV from http://www.tellychakkar.com/channels/colors; Draft:Adytum (band) from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Adytum&oldid=694881302. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the law to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. There's more information about copyrights and how it applies to Wikipedia at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Copyright law and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policies. Further copyright violations will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa (talk) 00:52, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't of copyright violation (one of the websites pointed to as source of the copyrighted content is wikipedia itself, another one (for Draft:This Week in WWE) is a likely wikipedia mirror). The issue here has to do with the recreation in Draft space of articles previously deleted at AfD. There are many reasons why this is problematic, I hope you'll all know better than me and elaborate further, but for starters I can say it's a bad way to do copying within Wikipedia. CasetteTapeMaster, please have a thorough read of WP:CWW. It's also a good idea to reply to messages on your talk page, to prevent the same kinds of misunderstandings happening over and over again. Thanks. Uanfala (talk) 01:12, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting! I would be able to prevent the same kinds of misunderstandings happening over and over again this way! --CasetteTapeMaster (talk) 05:31, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from old revisions of pages into draft space. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. I have done some of them myself. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 01:09, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nelson henricks redirect

Hello! I don't understand why you reverted my speedy delete on Nelson henricks... the lower case version of the page was created an hour or so ago, so it's not needed now that the proper upper case version of the page exists. I'm pretty foggy on redirects, so if you can explain the revert it is much appreciated.HappyValleyEditor (talk) 20:08, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

CasetteTapeMaster, I see you've been removing speedy deletion templates from redirects without explanation. I undid your edits. What's up? Sro23 (talk) 21:07, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Timeline of chemical element discoveries are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages.
