reverted my changes

That section of the chart was a way to organize data already shown in previous columns. I simply made it consistent. There is no need to provide a source, as the source was already provided.

reverted my changes

you have removed the meena caste from martial race's list that was added by me. you should read THE Seopy book by edmand candler according to him meenas were included into martial races not gurjars. the book has a list of castes on it's preface.... so go through that book.

Changes by Knowledgekid666

Hi, do you know what's going on with Knowledgekid666 (talk · contribs)? It appears he (or she) is using a bot to change tons of pages, and your user name is in his edit summary. Is there some history between the two of you? Natg 19 (talk) 00:02, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I was just coming here to ask the same thing :P - Mlpearc (open channel) 00:04, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, it appears there is a sockpuppet investigation open Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cow cleaner 5000. So I presume Materialscientist has banned this person before. Natg 19 (talk) 00:07, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's because Materialscientist is a total cunt and likes to be a cyber bully towards Knowledgekid666 (talk · contribs)

Jared Taylor

41.58.58.139 (talk) 19:36, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Hello. You must be referring to the talk page of the "Jared Taylor" article. From my perspective at least, the entire talk page was deleted and then access to it was blocked. I can't figure out how that was done but when I get the time I will find how to talk to Jimmy Wales himself.[reply]

Hello, User:Materialscientist.

Zheng He Chinese admiral

Hi you undid the part religion: Islam

Here is a brief example from the source: http://www.muslimheritage.com/article/zheng-he-chinese-muslim-admiral

Zheng He; Ma He, as he was originally known, was born in 1371 to a poor 'ethnic Hui' (Chinese Muslims) family in Yunnan Province, Southwest China. The boy's grandfather and father once made an overland pilgrimage to Makkah. Their travels contributed much to young Ma's education. He grew up speaking Arabic and Chinese, learing much about the world to the west and its geography and customs.

Can you kindly reinstate his religion.

Thanks!

my changes to greg 'murph' murphy's page

Hi Mr MaterialScientist

I made some changes earlier to Greg Murphy's page, that you edited. I don't know if you've seen this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRzLBFQ5M2Y , but this is probably the best lap you will ever see, especially at a track as difficult as the mountain. You should watch that link I've sent you, you can clearly hear Whitey say "this is quite simply a AWESOME lap", and honestly it is all people think of when they think of the great Kiwi that is Greg Murphy.

Please revert your changes back to what I had posted.

Thanks, LoftusCheek36

A tag has been placed on User:Blu Aardvark is my homie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

WP:DENY - no point leaving warnings on a banned, uncooperative user.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Told you already materialscientist, stop feeding the damn trolls..stop tagging LTA's..now that you have started again, that 'same' troll will never leave... thanks a lot...--Stemoc 03:01, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I don't think there's a point at tagging them when it's blatantly obvious, and that IT is craving for attention especially with the tags being slapped on his alt accounts. Bong and Graeme deleted userspace pages belonging to the sockmaster for much the same reason as why I requested a speedy for those two, so yeah. Thomas Meyer Incorrigible Troll

Please add talk page access to your block after this [3]. Meters (talk) 03:11, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I could've done an LTA page for him, but since this is a troll not worthy of attention, the best we could do is to RBI, and walk away like we don't give a damn. Blake Gripling (talk) 03:14, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have no issue with that approach. I'm just asking for the talk page to be blocked to prevent more personal attacks. Meters (talk) 03:21, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
True, as it would lead to further abuse too. Blake Gripling (talk) 03:23, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

7th Duke of Edinburgh's Gurkha Rifles (7GR)

I am a retired officer from the 7th Gurkha Rifles. I am charged by the Regimental Association to re=write the regiment's page on Wikipedia.

The deletion of the 'guff' at the start of the piece was universally, within the regiment, deprecated and of very doubtful use when learning about the regiment.

Why have you restored this old version? Have you a greater knowledge of the regiment than any of us who served?

You have restored spelling errors and omitted bravery post nominals and deleted the list of distinguished Colonels of the Regiment.

The 'history' is gleaned from 'India's Army' by Major Donovan Jackson. Sampson, Low Marston & Co.

I am extremely saddened that an error strewn entry should be restored in place of an accurate entry - very disappointed.

How can I improve this entry, if you have the power to restore a nonsense?

Please advise.

Added: 1100 hrs A 11 Oct 16. I have been briefed upon your role and responsibilities and I understand that you were concerned that I had (unwittingly) removed the 'Sources' entries. They were not really relevant to 7th Gurkha Rifles.

I hope you are not personally offended. I would very much appreciate any advice or guidance you may provide.

PS: Nobody in the Association can identify Brigadier Scone mentioned.

Louise Linton page

Hi Materialscientist,

I am concerned that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louise_Linton page is being used for unsubstantiated PR-promotion. For example, Michaelgmitchell45 contributor has added that this person went to the 'Edinburgh Drama Academy'. However, this school cannot be found in any google search that is not in an article about Louise Linton. Michaelgmitchell45 is also providing citations that do not substantiate what is in the text. Can you provide advice on this?

And I am concerned that the editor above, who has posted on no articles other than Louise Linton, is violating number of wiki rules, and making bold changes without seeking consensus. I was preparing to seek a third opinion on his latest change, which is to promote an anecdotal and non-encyclopedic reference to the first paragraph, when it clearly is related only to material further down the article. He boldly reverts edits without seeking concensus. Since this editor from Australia has opened the door, perhaps you could visit the article? Delete IMASPAMMEROK's account

Hello, I'm Michael Cao. Someone made an account called IMASPAMMEROK last night, and made a Wikipedia page under my name. If possible, could you delete that user's account, and wipe the page under my name? I am willing to prove my identity if need be, but I want to get rid of the page and user, since it could potentially reflect badly on me.

Thanks!

I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Young Thug, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so an IP unrelated to me removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. Reverted edits by Szabx on Adamantane wiki page

Hello. I am Szabx I saw you removed my modifications on the Adamantane page(Last modification in the history ATM). Actualy I just inserted a new picture of adamantane with tapering lines, and obviously I did something wrong. Can you point me in the direction in which I can upload the image in the chembox to the righ, or if not, where could I put it?

Thanks in advance, Szabx

I think this image is redundant to the skeletal formula (in this case). Also, its quality could be better (jpg works poorly for vector images, and we do not put caption inside the figure - this hinders its reuse and modification). Materialscientist (talk) 22:19, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

reverted my change, thereby restoring an error in the webpage i just tried to correct

Why did you revert my changes in the polar coordidates section ? I certainly think it is wrong again now ! At least the formula above is now not the same as the operator form while they should of course be exactly the same.

In the second place I also think using cos and sin is much more simple than using the awkward cosecans = 1/ sin and secans = 1/sin that do not add to the clearness of the page.

Al Atkins wikipedia

Hi, you've undone my changes on the Al Atkins wikipedia page.

My changes: Alan ---> Allan; Date of birth: 11th ---> 14th

Please, don't undo the changes. Al Atkins is friends with me on facebook, so I know that TODAY is Al's birthday, and that he's "Allan", not "Alan".

Thanks!

THE TWO CHANGES ARE FACTS, DON'T UNDO THE CHANGES, THANKS.

Well, this is silly, you keep undoing my change... I'm just trying to correct two errors, it's not Alan, it's Allan, and his birth date is October 14th, 1947. These are FACTS. Source: Allan's personal facebook page; his book "Dawn Of The Metal Gods", page 10.

Herreshoff Anchors

Hello, Regarding your message about removing my edit of the Herreshoff anchor piece, I live on a boat and don't have a copy of any of L. F. Herreshoff's books to hand (they're currently in storage), but LFH himself attributes the anchor design to his father, N.G. Herreshoff. This is widely known in the boating world, and I am somewhat at a loss to understand how and by whom the anchor became attributed to LFH in the Wikipedia entry I have to remark that that whole piece on anchors (or at least as far as I read down) was somewhat sketchy and inexpert. These days, Wikipedia is widely considered an authoritative source of facts/information, and the article rather "lets the side down". As to citing sources, as mentioned, such books of LF Herreshoff as I own are currently in storage, but the matter is covered in his "Commonsense Of Yacht Design", where he most definitely states that the Herreshoff anchor was designed/developed by his father, Nathaniel Greene Herreshoff, aka "Captain Nat" and "The Wizard Of Bristol" (Bristol, Rhode is. USA). In passing, I have on board as one of my three anchors a 3-piece Herreshoff of 34-and-a-tad kg. If you wish, I can also supply a diagram or three of the standard and the 3-piece Herreshoff anchor, though I'd need some instruction on how to post illustrations. Possible editing block of every starbuck coffee shop in the UK

Hey there. I want to confirm that the following ip block is intentional (mediawiki thinks you made it).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:BlockList?wpTarget=109.144.128.0&limit=50

I hit up against this block when in a starbucks cafe. A linux command line whois on this command returned a descrition of "BT Openzone WLAN Services". My experience in various starbucks leads me to believe that BT have a contract to provide wifi to every starbucks cafe, all likely using this address range. The block appeared to extend to registered users editing, at least I couldn't edit when logged in. I had a brief scan for policy on the topic, but couldn't get that much clarity Wikipedia:Blocking_IP_addresses#Shared_and_dynamic_IP_addresses seemed the most relevant entry.

One imagines locations like starbucks pose particular problems due to their preponderance of both techy-types and 13-16 year-olds...

The content removal of DIY on Solar water heater page

Hi there, I had no intention to put the content to promote my thought. Let me ask you a simple question?... Have you ever come across people, who live in between meals. The DIY Paasive solar water heater was intended for the people in the third world. I am sure you do not belong to this part of the world, where saving a PENNY HAS A LOT OF MEANING.

Help someone add this DIY for the sake of people living in the third world. If you wish.
