Last name

Are we sure she's adopting French as her new last name, including as a stage name, or was the "Mr. and Mrs. French" message just a reference to her being married? I'm reluctant to show a change of last name in the article unless we've got a reliable source (or statement from her) that clearly says she intends to change her name. —C.Fred (talk) 19:59, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

YES! There is no source or statement saying her name is now Ashley Michelle Tisdale French or whatever else. For now, we shouldn't change anything. decodet. (talk) 20:07, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I read the "Mr. and Mrs. French" comment as a reference to Tisdale's recent marriage, not as an indication that she had changed her last name. At present, there is no evidence that she has changed her name; "Tisdale" should remain until there is confirmation otherwise. Acalamari 20:17, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. "Mr. and Mrs. _____" is commonly used term to refer to a married couple, and doesn't necessarily indicate the bride took the groom's last name. Snuggums (talk / edits) 00:53, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
She now identifies as Ashley Tisdale French on her Twitter profile: http://www.twitter.com/ashleytisdale. —Thedanielcampbell (talk) 20:22, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but still using Tisdale as her stage name even on her March 26 tweet: HERE Will have to see when she starts adding them to credits. -AngusWOOF (talk) 20:32, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No cite for middle name

There is no citation for her claimed middle name. I added one, and another editor removed it. He also added WP:VERIFY and [{WP:BLP]] violations that I had removed because the cited sources did not support the claims. Would some other editors please weigh in on this? --209.122.114.237 (talk) 20:57, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously... I told you I reverted it by mistake and I said on my talk page I was sorry. And I also told you I was getting references for those claims - I got one for one of them and still you reverted the whole thing. If you could, please add the source to her name again. decodet. New Projects

Ashley Tisdale is taking on several new business opportunities this year. She's been named the creative director at Signorelli, runs the Haute Mess, and signed a deal with Warner Horizon television. Can we update her wiki?

Semi-protected edit request on 29 December 2015

Please add updated information to the Business Endorsement Section.

In 2015 Ashley Tisdale was named the creative director of Signorelli, a Los Angeles based clothing company, her first collection launches in Spring 2016.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Ashley Tisdale. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Reference to Nudity in Public Image Section

Of what relevance is it to point out that she was nude for her Allure shoot? Her clothing (or lack thereof) is not noted for any of her movie/television projects. Why should it be for this?

Michaelsmith81 (talk) 13:51, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently because it raised eyebrows (but not enough to make a big controversy) and Tisdale was trying to assert that she was a woman with it instead of just a "young girl". Snuggums (talk / edits) 14:03, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This is an issue done every year by Allure; not unusual. I'm going to rewrite it so it's a lot less tawdry (they don't show the sensitive bits). Nate (chatter) 00:16, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
