:::::Yes, please move the article to a draft if it's possible for you to do so. Regarding similarities between the two articles, even though it's an irrelevant discussion because you deleted the initial article for it's advertising and promotional nature, i would still like to mention that soundtrack section consists of songs that are a part of the movie, so if a song is titled "I love Mangoes"....i can't change it to "I love Antarctica", if it has been sung by "Celine Dion" i can't mention "Miley Cyrus" there instead. There are multiple composers and lyricists associated with this film that's why you see so many names [it's a strange but common phenomena these days in Indian movies], there was a reference available in the article as well for that. Also the soundtrack section has been made using [[Template:Infobox album]] and [[Template:Track listing]], a practice employed by thousands of articles on Wikipedia. There aren't too many things that can be changed in the cast and soundtrack section of a movie article, so when you re-check the draft version of the article i would request you to kindly focus on other sections because you will most definitely notice a number of changes there. File permission problem with File:Sameer Sharma.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Sameer Sharma.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.livemint.com/Leisure/PMrAhHLvP5AYma5t5ZRHpJ/The-simmering-tandoor.html?facet=print. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in No One your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 12:56, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Sameer Sharma.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Sameer Sharma.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on No One&namespace=6 this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 10:59, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Sameer Sharma.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Sameer Sharma.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 11:00, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Sameer Sharma.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Sameer Sharma.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 11:00, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ghost No One,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Sadiya siddiqui, may be copied from http://www.tellychakkar.com/y2k7/jun/4jun/lifestyle.php. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia!Template:Z18 MadmanBot (talk) 20:02, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced summaries of critical response

Re: this, please don't add your own summaries of critical response. There's a thing called confirmation bias, that makes it problematic for editors to hand-select reviews, and then try to summarise the totality of that selection. If I hate a film, I'm more likely to select reviews that support my point of view. If I then try to summarise that cherrypicked selection, I'm basically just confirming to myself something that I already believed. Similarly, if I go out and pick reviews that support my point of view, then you come along and try to summarise the reviews that I've cherrypicked, you are just confirming my selection bias. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations have to say about anything, and per MOS:FILM, which you should read if you plan to edit film articles, these summaries have to come from reliable sources, not from editors. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited My Birthday Song, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 12:51, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ! I don't quite understand. There are hundreds of articles available on wikipedia which have been written in the same manner. Sentences have been reproduced from external websites only in the "Critical reception" section, but always in quotes and with references. Even articles of extremely popular movies like La La Land and Inception have reproduced statements from external websites in their critical reception section.
I can re-write the text in my own words if that is what the rules of wikipedia demand, but at least give a warning first, why delete the article ? I am not here to advertise or promote anyone or anything, i am just a regular wikipedia user. I request you to kindly restore the article so that the necessary changes can be made.Ghost No One (talk) 13:16, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That article contained substantial similarities to the article as it existed prior to deletion. As such, it looks like you copied the article without acknowledging the original editors. Due to copyright, I cannot restore the article. However, I can email you a copy, so long as you commit to abide by WP:COPYRIGHT (basically, substantially rework it rather than using it as the base for a new draft copy). Let me know if you'd like me to do this. --Yamla (talk) 13:22, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have a copy of the second article [the one you just deleted]. I didn't copy anything from the original article, i am sure you will notice the differences if you read it carefully. The only reason the two articles are similar is because both of them are talking about the same movie. Also, i don't know how to credit the editors of a deleted article if i am recreating it from scratch, please do tell me if there is a way to do that. So basically you want me to create a DRAFT version of the article with the entire text written in my own words and submit it for approval. Isn't it ? Ghost No One (talk) 15:29, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Copyleaks shows a substantial part of the introduction is identical between your version and the version previous. The cast section is identical. That's not particularly unexpected, of course, but this is more than just listing the same people. The soundtrack is identical, as is a portion of the description of the soundtrack. I did not check more than just those two revisions, but these results are too much to be coincidence. Now, if you write a draft version of the article, clear of copyright concerns, that's fine. It could then be double-checked and moved into the main article space (and anyone with the power is free to override my WP:SALT to do so, after verifying copyright concerns are resolved). Alternatively, you could request undeletion of the article via WP:UDP. The main problem here is that the existing article had concerns about WP:PROMO and WP:PAID (I want to be clear, concerns about other users, not you, violating these policies), so these would presumably need to be addressed. They may choose to undelete and then draftify the article, though, which would give you an opportunity to address these concerns. I'm not trying to make you jump through hoops here, though. If you are willing to address other users' violations of WP:PROMO and WP:PAID, let me know and I may be able to undelete the article and then move it to a draft (that is, I may have the technical ability to do so). --Yamla (talk) 16:06, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, please move the article to a draft if it's possible for you to do so. Also the soundtrack section has been made using Template:Infobox album and Template:Track listing, a practice employed by thousands of articles on Wikipedia. There aren't too many things that can be changed in the cast and soundtrack section of a movie article, so when you re-check the draft version of the article i would request you to kindly focus on other sections because you will most definitely notice a number of changes there.
