== Hello from slotmachiner and question on article resubmit ==

Good afternoon @Theroadislong ,

Thank you for looking at my article submission for Kaihan Krippendorff. I went through and reworked, basing all of the information off of articles I found from jstor, google scholar, or grade A media news sources. Can you let me know what you think of the changed article?

I also read through your article and noticed that you seem to be interested in Staffordshire pottery – I am into collecting antiques as well and two summers ago found an excellent piece created by Enoch Wood in 1820. Underappreciated art in my opinion. Thought you might find that interesting!

Best regards,

Q on reference source language

07:53:55, 14 November 2017 review of submission by FriendlyB

Dear Thereodislong,

thank you for reviewing the draft "Dr. Petry Textile Auxiliaries".

For the sources, I cited independent sources, such as - http://www.genios.de/fachzeitschriften/artikel/MTB/20080617/umweltschutz-und-nachhaltigkeit-in-/060817061.html - https://www.biooekonomie-bw.de/de/fachbeitrag/aktuell/insektenchitin-macht-textilherstellung-nachhaltiger/

In order to have more evidence, I added information from further independent sources and references: - https://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/companies/6311207Z:GR-textilchemie-dr-petry-gmbh - https://www.bluesign.com/industry/chemical-suppliers/references/textilchemie-dr-petry

Thank you in advance for re-reviewing.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your assistance with Draft:InnoCare. I have included

and noted it on your user page that I work for that company. They're not paying me to create this page, I just think it would cool to have a Wikipedia page. Let me know if there's anything else you can suggest to improve my draft. I appreciate your help!

Please let me know what else you think is required to have it accepted?

Dear Theroadislong

Hope you are fine and doing good.

I am requesting for a review again as the major comment for rejection/decline of this article was its Reference section or having less references. Now, the draft has been updated, and more than 20 solid references have been employed, with more historical details, and best possible bibliographic support in the light of the available literature. This single page article is now having over 25 appropriate references, and are strengthened with new data.

Your anticipation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Sincere Regards

The objected references (facebook) has been udpated with the departmental URLS (links to the webpages). Thank you for the Prompt response and providing support to make this draft better.

Dear Theroadislong

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

The objected references (facebook) has been udpated with the departmental URLS (links to the webpages). I think, these were the most up to dated and regularly updating references. Moreover, the last paragraph was deleted, because the book describing the paragraph and the mentioned material is in press (which is written by Dr. Ikram), and once the book got published, the three to four lines paragraph will be inserted again.

I do hope, that the draft will get approved now and will get online, as after coming across other such articles, this one seems to be far better than those.

Your prompt and positive anticipation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thanking you in anticipation

Sincere Regards

Hi Theroadislong! I have recently uploaded a draft of the article "Admitad" here and you have declined it. Could you kindly explain what can I do to make it right? Is it possible to work with you as my mentor on the draft? Or, maybe, you can help with writing, could you kindly tell me what is the best option? admitad is a global company, it already helps over 630,000 people worldwide. I believe, that it needs to be on Wikipedia.

Dear Theroadislong,

Thank you for your valuable time and timely reply.

The bellow listed recognition letters and independent press publications may provide a more in-depth coverage regarding different subjects about Carl-W. Röhrig's life and work mentioned in the WIKI article.

Thanks for the info

For the bio, is Nicholas Kaufmann's official website a good enough source? That's where the info comes from, anyway.

The Sumaira Foundation for NMO

Hello,

I recently submitted the page "The Sumaira Foundation for NMO" and you denied it on the principle that it was not neutral, and the sources were produced by The Sumaira Foundation.

I am confused as to what sources were produced by the foundation, since none of the citations or hyperlinks were in any way affiliated in a non-neutral standpoint with the foundation. The articles linked simply talked about the foundation, but were not created by it.

I would really appreciate some feedback since this was a neutral page creation. Template:Aliaalchalbi (talk · contribs) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aliaalchalabi (talkcontribs) 17:43, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Theroadislong,

You said : "Her father maybe notable but no evidence that savannah is yet?"

In fact she is notable, she is part of the musician group The Trishas and she is an actress in several movies and a current serie. She also has a facebook page, Instragam and twitter account and an Imdb page. There is also articles from notable newspapers that I linked with the draft.

Thanks to reconsider the draft.

Good day,

Having a Facebook page, Instagram Twitter account and an Imdb page has no bearing whatsoever on her notability the whole world has these? Thank you for your kind comment about my draft article on Prof. M. Horspool. You are right about the lack of sources. The problem is that I have only the personal information given about her on her big book, and online by OUP. The other surce of information about her is the obituary of her husband in The Telegraph. The rest is just what I have heard as a postgrad student in London - like her being Dutch etc - not a very good source I am afraid. Maybe I should delete them? Thanks again. refs Norbert Küpper

Hello and thanks for your support. Sorry, I am not really expierenced in writing articles for wikipedia. Regarding above topic you say the sources are raised by Küpper. I understand what you say! Beside that these sources tell the official work he is doing. For example an article which is published in The Guardian might be valid to prove the background of Küpper. Also an european congress which is visited by the top heads of newspapers in europe with a history of 20 years should be an indicator that this person is real and of public interest. Nethertheless I see your point. But it is hard to get other sources as Küpper is working with newspapers and of course is himself writing about newspapers and his work more than the newspapers about him. I wrote the same article in german wikipedia where these sources are accepted. Maybe you can help the get result even in english wiki. RESPONSE from Tero111

There is an article on birds of Nebraska in Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_birds_of_Nebraska

The external link goes to the NOU website, the organization my article was about. The state has a population of less than 2 million, but from an ornithological point of view is an interesting location between the East and West. The two links I provided improve the Wuikipedia reader's access to reliable information about the state. The effort is run by volunteers, so that the presence of birders and volunteers is never going to be the same level as "birds of Costa Rica" where endeless books and articles exist. However, the small effort here in Nebraska (I live here) is in no way insignificant. Yes, the average user is going to find my information with Google, but does Wikipedia want to push all the curious to go the Google route? Tero111 (talk) 13:46, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In order to demonstrate notability, you need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about the Nebraska Ornithologists' Union in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. If there are no other sources then we can’t have an article. Theroadislong (talk) 13:51, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there,

I am new to using Wikipedia and am having trouble with posting an article about my client, a film, television and theatre actress.

I saw you left a comment stating that IMDb is not a reliable source of information. Any chance you could help me understand how one would cite original personal information such as her biography and filmography? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you. I appreciate your help. I hope I have succeeded in sorting out the references now. With regard to COI I should state that Ian Firth was one of my students in the 1970s but there is no COI. I have followed his career at a distance. We are still acquainted since we are both Fellows of the same professional organisation and have been honoured to be former Presidents but there is no other technical, commercial or business relationship. There is no question of remuneration or other type of reward. I have striven to make the biography of Firth objective and unbiased. Firth is, as you say, eminently notable as a structural engineer and bridge designer. We are both SME or domain experts in structural engineering due to our professional qualifications and experience.

Please don't. Wikipedia has no interest in what the articles subject wants to say about himself, only what reliable sources have reported.

Wikipedia is only interested in what people who have no connection with the subject have published about it in reliable places. The article should be limited to a summary of what such independent sources have said about them. If there are no sources then we don’t have an article.Theroadislong (talk) 08:16, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

KevinW7 Yes your sandbox is a space for experimenting and viewing the results, you can ignore the submit button, unless you consider that you are proficient enough to draft a new article. Theroadislong (talk) 16:44, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Leman_(transport_company)

Hi - You have rejected my article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Leman_(transport_company) . Did you notice that I added a link to an article in Berlingske, a very major Danish newspaper? Do you even read Danish? Would you like a translation of the article? Are you aware that there is already an article on Danish Wikipedia, of which this is basically a translation? Gjensen (talk) 20:09, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability, we need multiple in-depth coverage, the fact that Danish Wikipedia has an article is irrelevant. Theroadislong (talk) 20:19, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Typo in Title

Hi and thanks for approving my post for "Helgesias of Sinope." Unfortunately there's a typo in the title, which should be "Hegesias of Sinope" (no L). My apologies for that (it was my first post). I don't know how to fix a mistake in a title. Are you able to help me? Thank you, Budapest Joe

Corina Brouder - lawyer

Hi,

The source was in Talk, which was apparently overlooked, added by her mother:

As stated earlier today: "Corina is a licensed attorney and this is the second time we have changed what was written. Corina's juis number from the State of Connecticut is 439201, issued in 2017."

But I have a web page which states this as well.

In fact the false info which I replaced earlier today was not removed by wikipedia:

"Corina is also an unaccredited lawyer who was not sworn in after completing the Connecticut Bar exam [1]."

It can clearly be found that she *is* on that website so that's what I will try and add.

https://www.ctbar.org/members/?id=51879484&hhSearchTerms=%22brouder%22

Which also links to http://zdlaw.com/

Although admittedly she is not listed under B.

Hi,

Coming back to Corina Brouder's page, this person has been changing information on the page:

"Dragonslate"

With the disinformation being:

"Corina is also an unaccredited lawyer who was not sworn in after completing the Connecticut Bar exam [2]."

This may affect her career. She suspects foul play from some party she has known in the past, but there is no proof.

Perhaps the person could be blocked? Although of course under any other username or not logged in, they can come back again.

MRS Communications notability

MRS Communications has a Journal Citation Reports impact factor, which is usually sufficient to satisfy the first criterion (C1) for academic journal notability. It is also listed in Scopus. What other evidence of notability do you think is necessary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.252.20.193 (talk) 16:34, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I could be wrong but I don't think the draft satisfies WP:GNG Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Feel free tore-submit and let another reviewer take a look. Theroadislong (talk) 22:27, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ashton House, Beetham

Hi Theroadislong,

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your interest in my family home and to let you know that I am new to the publishing conventions of Wikipedia.

I have tried to upload information about my home following years of extensive and painstaking research carried out and verified by top academics in the field of architectural history at the University of Oxford, where I subsequently received a distinction for this work and a place to read for a doctorate on the subject. My research primarily relied upon my own expertise as an architectural historian (specialising in country houses for over three decades) and the extensive primary sources which were contained within the house and which are now held in the local public record office in Kendal, Cumbria. The reference [CRO(Kendal)WDX948], which I have used for those records was provided to me by the local government office and whilst the records are not available online they are available in hard copy to the visiting public. I should point out that this research is being published as a book next year by an prestigious academic publishing house who have the work peer-read.

In terms of your first reference, the official listing mentions a datestone of 1678. It does not state that the building was built at that date, which in fact it wasn't. This datestone was repositioned off an adjoining family dwelling. The family records evidence this.

I hope that this is of help. I am in no way trying to disparage your history of my house, but would prefer any information published on the internet about it to be factually correct. Please feel free to contact me for any information which you feel may help you in this objective, I am more than happy to assist you where I can.

Yours truly, Gordon Fairclough FSA(Scotland) MA Lincoln College

Not an Auto biography.

The article that i created is not my auto Biography. I chose a username that was actually the article that I wanted to create. The actor is 43 years old now while im 18. Its not me and not related to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.42.11.218 (talk) 13:35, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well that contradicts what you said here [1]? " I want to change my username from my real name for the fear of harassment etc" Theroadislong (talk) 13:40, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It is not my real name, it is a real name which I failed to express. Shall I correct my mistake there too? [[[User:Good Cop Sam|Good Cop Sam]] (talk) 13:42, 13 July 2018 (UTC)][reply]

Hello from slotmachiner and question on article resubmit

Good afternoon @Theroadislong ,

Thank you for looking at my article submission for Kaihan Krippendorff. I went through and reworked, basing all of the information off of articles I found from jstor, google scholar, or grade A media news sources. Can you let me know what you think of the changed article?

I also read through your article and noticed that you seem to be interested in Staffordshire pottery – I am into collecting antiques as well and two summers ago found an excellent piece created by Enoch Wood in 1820. Underappreciated art in my opinion. Thought you might find that interesting!

Best regards,
