Talk page etiquette

[edit]

Talk pages such as Talk:Economy of Bangladesh are meant to be a record of a discussion. So long as no one has yet responded to your comment, it's accepted and common practice that you may continue to edit your remarks for a short while to correct mistakes or otherwise improve them. But if anyone has already replied to your original comment, changing your comment may deprive any replies of their original context, and this should be avoided. Instead, continue the discussion at the bottom of the section, indenting one level further than the last reply, or start a new section.

Also, you marked your change as minor when it is not. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute. Any edit that changes the meaning of the text is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 04:34, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Economy of Bangladesh. Such edits are disruptive, and may appear to other editors to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 14:58, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To correct my wrong edits

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 12:23, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-Protected edit request

Dear Editors, Please look at the List of countries by GDP (nominal). I think the article isn't right. Please see the ranking and GDP of Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh and Hong Kong of List of Countries by GDP (nominal).

Rank Country/Territory GDP
(US$million)
21  Taiwan 635,547
35  Bangladesh 348,891 [1]
36  United Arab Emirates 353,899
37  Hong Kong (China) 341,319
100  Macau (China)[n 1] 26,348

Please see the ranking. I think the ranking of the Taiwan and Hong Kong is incorrect. Taiwan ranking isn't 21, this is '—', Hong Kong ranking isn't 37, this is '—' and Macau ranking isn't 100, it is '—'. And see the ranking of Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates. The Bangladesh GDP is 348,891 million U.S dollar and United Arab Emirates GDP is 353,899 million U.S dollar. So United Arab Emirates GDP is higher than Bangladesh GDP. So, Bangladesh ranking is down than United Arab Emirates ranking. And Taiwan is a republic of China. Now, I thing the correct ranked of List of countries by GDP (nominal) (in million U.S dollar) is-

Per the International Monetary Fund
