Lolotte
- Lolotte → Glossary of climbing terms#lolotte (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Not mentioned in the target. Pichpich (talk) 23:05, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep: only because I edited to add mention in the target. It's a french climbing term (fr:Mouvements d'escalade). I did my best to add the definition to the French term with interwiki links. I might have gotten it wrong, so please update/edit/fix. sbb (talk) 00:39, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
- Comment should a non-English term appear in an English language glossary? Shouldn't it be on Wiktionary instead? -- 67.70.27.246 (talk) 21:44, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Interesting question. I know a only a tiny bit about climbing terms, but from what I do know, many of them are French or come from French. I'm not sure how much lolotte is universal, or just French. From the other definitions, it does seem similar to 'dropknee'/'Egyptian'. But I'm not knowledgeable enough to say if they're related or synonyms. sbb (talk) 23:03, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

Family Guy (season seven)
- Family Guy (season seven) → Family Guy (season 7) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Should be deleted. Nothing links to it, and seems to be the only Family Guy season number that is spelled out. sbb (talk) 18:53, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep per the consensus at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 January 22#Harry Potter: Book Six. It's unambiguous as to which season it's meant to refer to, and isn't hurting anything. Some people might even search it with the full word. Regards, SONIC678 21:20, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, but FG seasons 1–6, 8–19 don't exist as spelled-out redirects. Only season 7/seven. Should we create the other 18 spelled-out pages? Seems kinda weird and pointless, when search engines are relatively smart enough to complete the "sixteen -> 16", etc., translations. Why is "seven" special? sbb (talk) 22:57, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not necessarily saying that "seven" is special or that we should create the other pages, I'm just saying that this redirect isn't really in the way of anything, like with a lot of other such "(season [spelled-out number]) redirects. About such search engines (e.g., Google), Wikipedia's search engine doesn't seem to have the same capabilities, but again, I'm not really arguing that we should create the other eighteen spelled-out Family Guy season redirects (or that "seven" is special). - Next Untied Kingdom general election → 2019 United Kingdom general election (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I don't know how plausible this redirect is, since Untied Kingdom general election doesn't exist. The redirect page only has 147 pageviews for 5 years, while "Next United Kingdom general election" has over 4 million pageviews. Also, I don't know if we should retarget to the correct target because it's not enough to justify the redirect. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 16:25, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

- Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Combichrist - Heat EP: All Pain Is Beat → Heat EP: All Pain Is Beat (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Not sure if this redirect was ever useful, but certainly not anymore now that the target is itself a redirect (due to lack of notability). Lennart97 (talk) 13:56, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Delete useless as a redirect since no-one is ever going to be searching for this album in the Wikipedia talk namespace. This could probably be G8'd as a talk page with no existing subject page. There is a misplaced draft in the page history, but since it was last edited in 2009 it would qualify for G13 deletion if moved into the draft namespace. The draft is entirely unsourced (and the article this used to target was sourced only to discogs) so if restored and moved to article space this version of the article may qualify for A9 deletion as well. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 14:05, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Douglas Robinson (athlete)
- Douglas Robinson (athlete) → Douglas Robinson (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
A redirect to a DAB page with no relevant entry. He is linked in Allen Sangree. Delete to encourage article creation if justified. Narky Blert (talk) 13:54, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep as R from incomplete disambiguation. I thinks it's reasonable to describe 2x cricketers and an ice hockey player as "athletes". Note that the French cricketer was at this title. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:45, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep per Shhhnotsoloud. Regarding Allen Sangree, it's hard to tell which Douglas Robinson is being referred to there. If it's not one of the people who already have an article, then you have the option of replacing it with a red link with a more precise disambiguator than "athlete". Adumbrativus (talk) 03:58, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Cake tin

- Cake-Tin → Wellington Regional Stadium (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Caketin → Wellington Regional Stadium (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I think people searching for these are more likley to be looking for an article on cake tins than an article on a stadium that was nicknamed "The Cake Tin" due to it's resemblance to one. Any search I do indicates that the cookware is the primary meaning of this phrase, but I'm unsure where to target these. Cookware and bakeware gives a general overview of the topic, especially in the Cookware and bakeware#Bakeware section, but there's also the spun out Mold (cooking implement) article, which could be a reasonable target 86.23.109.101 (talk) 12:53, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Support retargeting: there's no way a medium-sized regional stadium is going to be the primary target for such a common piece of kitchenware. ——Serial 13:45, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget all per nom to Cookware and bakeware#Bakeware, where there's a brief description. Narky Blert (talk) 14:01, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget at least the lower-case cake tin and caketin. Heh. I created Cake Tin in response to this May 2014 edit by the two-edit IP 49.181.184.62. Their other edit was at Talk:Wellington Regional Stadium#Cake tin. I restored the hatnote which had been removed in November 2015 by another IP, so be sure to remove that again if the proper name redirects are retargeted as well. – wbm1058 (talk) 15:58, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget Cake tin to Cookware and bakeware#Bakeware. Delete Caketin and Cake-Tin as nonsense/unlikely search terms. Keep Cake Tin as a legitimate use at that capitalisation. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:50, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget, but leave a hat-note at Cookware and bakeware#Bakeware - the stadium is known both nationally and internationally as "The Cake Tin". Alternatively, turn the page Cake Tin into a disambiguation page and repoint the redirects there. Grutness...wha? 00:43, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget all to Cookware and bakeware#Bakeware (with hatnote there for the stadium nickname). No good reason to delete any or target Cake Tin differently. MB 23:04, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget all to the Bakeware section and create a hatnote there. Schwede66 18:19, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

- @Estopedist1: I've fixed this malformed nomination and tagged the redirects for you. Could you please read the instructions on how to do bundled nominations properly at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion#How to list a redirect or discussion? When you nominate more than one redirect in a discussion they all need to be tagged and put in an RfD2 template, you can't just stick them in a bullet point list at the end of the nomination. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 13:06, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Portable farm
- Portable farm → Shipping container (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I can't figure out the connection between this redirect and it's target, I assume someone built a farm in a shipping container at some point? The only mention of farming in the target is a sentence saying shipping containers are used for transporting farm produce 86.23.109.101 (talk) 12:39, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Delete. I can't either. Enwiki has nothing on "portable farm". I fixed the 2x incoming links. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:55, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Delete After searching I think the connection is that the company Freight Farms decided to use to use shipping containers for year long farming and I managed to find one article that referred to them by the term portable farm [[2]]. However, I haven’t found any other articles referring to these containers by this name nor does the Freight Farms article use that term either. In fact, I found more links for a VR farming simulator on Steam.--67.70.101.238 (talk) 20:37, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Cimarron (people)
- Cimarron (people) → Cimarron people (Panama) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
This long-standing redirect may be wrongly targeted to a specific use: is Maroons (the target of Cimarrones) a better target for a more general use? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:30, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- This could go either way. I think it's okay as is, but can see the change. I added a mention of maroons to the lede of the Cimarron people (Panama) article, which helps direct someone who might have been looking for that article. Carter (talk) 13:42, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

- Comment: Fixed malformed nomination that was added by 50.201.195.170. CycloneYoris talk! 10:55, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Delete. The redirect is misleading as this is not a part of the WP:What Wikipedia is not policy and is instead an essay. The page was blanked by it's creator on the 25th of Feb, so this is borderline WP:G8 as the content it points to no longer exists. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 13:13, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

This is the decimal representation of 09F9 et cetera. Anyone searching for the number would search for either its hexadecimal or binary form, not decimal. O.N.R. (talk) 10:19, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Strange as it may be, the decimal redirection is as useful as its hexadecimal counterparts. See the Pageviews analysis for the redirection pages. – Fuzzy – 10:35, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep per Fuzzy, and because a few sources do seem to give the key in decimal (just copy it into your favorite search engine to see). Anyway, redirects are cheap. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 19:56, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep: normally I hate this type of seemingly-ephemeral cruft, but if a search engine hits this number and redirects to a useful page about the information, that's definitely keep-worthy. sbb (talk) 20:23, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
General Luna Avenue

- General Antonio Luna Avenue → San Mateo, Rizal (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Gen. Luna Avenue → San Mateo, Rizal (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
The redirect, General Luna Avenue, with a complicated history, should be deleted. The article doesn't have a paragraph that's specific to the avenue itself. Originally it was a standalone article that was slapped with notability tag from 2009, then PROD-ed by Doghouse09 on August 25, 2020 (date in accordance with Philippine time zone), then de-PROD-ed by Djsasso on August 28, 2020 claiming it is a national road. However, it is not listed at the Philippine highway network (perhaps a national tertiary road, but even listed there it will still fail notability guidelines). It was finally redirected to San Mateo, Rizal on March 31, 2021 by Mccapra, citing notability issue. However, as I said earlier the target seems inappropriate, and it is better to have this deleted as there is no such article as "List of roads in Rizal", "List of roads in CALABARZON" or any similar list articles to retain it (unlike those that redirect today at List of roads in Metro Manila). JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 03:52, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
Note: this discussion also involves two other redirects that formerly redirected here (pinged the redirect creators per their edit histories, to add notice of RFD on those redirects shortly afterward): (@HueMan1:) (@Bluemask:) _ JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 03:57, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- !vote: A version of the article of on the band General Luna (band) was created under the title Gen. Luna Avenue. I haven't read that the band ever referred with that "Avenue" name. --Bluemask (talk) 02:53, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
- Keep. There's no policy reason to delete. "Gen. Luna Avenue" has x4 mentions in the article and the nom hasn't suggested it's ambiguous. The circuar wikilinks in the article do need to be removed though. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 19:04, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Shhhnotsocloud: it will just get recreated and restore the same notability-tagged content. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 19:06, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

- Random samples → simple random sample (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Random sampling → simple random sample (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I think these two redirects should probably point to the same target, since one is just the plural of the other, but I'm unsure which target is better. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 11:17, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
- Set indexify with Simple random sample, Systematic random sample, Stratified random sample, Cluster random sample, and probably others. As a quicker solution, could instead target both to Sample (statistics) (yes, apparently that is a separate article from Sampling (statistics)), but I don't think that article really articulates the differences and searchers probably are seeking something more specific anyway. Unfortunately the relevant articles do not follow a consistent title format, with some including "sample" and others including "sampling" but that's an issue for requested moves. Mdewman6 (talk) 01:48, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment I added Random sampling that should be treated similarly to the others. Mdewman6 (talk) 02:57, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Re/target all to Sampling (statistics) which is a generic article with several sections relating to different possibilities. A separate SIA is not required: in fact a third article to Sample (statistics) and Sampling (statistics) might just make the confusion worse. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:59, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Agree Re/target all to Sampling (statistics), which is the article that covers the concepts well. Newystats (talk) 10:29, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

Dark Lakitu
- Dark Lakitu → Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
This is a non-notable enemy who isn't mentioned at the target article. It was mentioned at Lakitu until July 2007, but hasn't been mentioned since that time, so I'm not sure about retargeting that redirect there. I'm leaning towards deletion unless a mention can be added somewhere. Regards, SONIC678 05:16, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
- Delete the fact that no one has no has brought up Dark Lakitu not being in the main Lakitu article for over a decade strongly indicates that no one is looking this up. The current target doesn’t work either since it’s a minor enemy not mentioned.--67.70.100.30 (talk) 05:21, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

Rawk Hawk may have been the previous champion of the Glitz Pit, and had an article about him for almost one-and-a-half years before ShakespeareFan00 redirected it to List of characters in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in July 2006. But alas, that was turned into a redirect itself, so I don't know if we should keep this thing lying around. I suggest we delete it unless someone can provide a justification. BMZ GmbH
A redirect from a random battery manufacturer to the article on smart batteries, where they are not mentioned in the article prose.
