Change article name

The current name implies that the protests were peace protests which were against the conflict. However, the article is a timeline of protests relating to the crisis. A better name would be "Timeline of protests relating to the 2021 Israel-Palestine crisis" User:DontWannaDoThis 07:21, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think this can be added for May 15 as well (in the London section): In Central London, protesters gathered at the Israeli embassy. Former Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn also speaks at the protest. [4] [5] Neocon1 (talk) 22:01, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. LOMRJYO(talkcontrib) 02:01, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Neocon1, In addition, the sources you gave have no consensus on reliability. If you can find other sources to corroborate your addition, I will possibly add it. LOMRJYO(talkcontrib) 02:04, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For May 16, I request that someone adds that protests occurred on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and Public Square in Cleveland. [10] I would also add that protests happened in Glasgow, Scotland ([11].

For example, I would say “In the United States, protesters gather at Michigan Avenue in Chicago and Public Square in Cleveland in solidarity with Palestine.”

I would also add that there were demonstrations in Helsinki as well ([12]).

I would also add this: In Berlin, violent confrontations break out during a protest against Israel air strikes in the Gaza Strip, with a Israeli TV reporter being attacked ([13]).

Neocon1 (talk) 19:47, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: WP:PROSELINE suggests that there's no real reason to simply list every protest that happened. If it can be written in a better way (if sources report that "multiple protests occured internationally..."), maybe, but as suggested I don't think it's really helpful. See also WP:NOTNEWS. Request to add a protest of support to Palestine in Montenegro

A few thousand people gathered in the town of Bijelo Polje in north Montenegro on May 16th in a rally of support for Palestinians. Source - https://www.vijesti.me/vijesti/drustvo/539575/protest-podrske-palestini-u-bijelom-polju

List of protests?

Should this article be moved to List of protests over the 2021 Israel-Palestine crisis, or just use prose to explain that there have been protests for both sides? Right now it looks like a list of any protest that gets local media coverage, which seems to be in contravention of WP:NOTNEWS. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:29, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my request concerned the antisemitism during those protests.

In Belgium (15 may) : add "a call to murder the Jews is screamed by the crowd". ref:

In Toronto : "Jews were assaulted by protesters".

Could somebody add this Infobox:

For May 23, could this be added: In London, far-right leader Tommy Robinson is seen attending a pro-Israel protest at Kensington High Street. Police intervened after pro-Palestine protesters were seen approaching them. [36]

Feel free to modify the Infobox if it is added to the article. —Neocon1 (talk) 17:05, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: This is basically a timeline. I don't think an infobox is necessary or helpful. Also, the international protests are not a "civil conflict" and "Truce declared, both sides claim victory" is not relevant to the protests... For May 25, I would add this: African National Congress members gather at the Israeli embassy in Pretoria to stand in solidarity with Palestine. Members call for the people of Palestine to be given their land back. Additionally, anti-apartheid activist Jessie Duarte called South Africa to cut diplomatic relations with Israel. Bias in this Wiki article

Incredibly one-sided page which leaves out several pro-Israel rallies which have occurred, as well as assaults and incitement against Jews, as well as blatant antisemitism displayed at some of these pro-Palestine rallies. Durdyfiv1 (talk) 12:38, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
