Maintain (Belly song) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Maintain (Belly song), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 13:27, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Immigrant (Belly album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Coachella (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 16:02, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please make sure you read WP:NCMDAB and MOS:CT. Stop using stylised song titles like "el diablo" and "I Think I'm OKAY". We use normal capitalisation here on Wikipedia, so those should be (and have been moved to) "El Diablo" and "I Think I'm Okay". It looks like you're like new here and are trying to get around creating content over redirects somebody else made, when there is a proper way of doing this. Either create the article as a draft or in your userspace and request it be moved. Ss112 23:33, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you giving social media sources names like they're news articles?

[edit]

Hi. On Hotel Diablo (album), why are you making up things to put in the title= parameter of references like "Watch Machine Gun Kelly get a gnarly head tattoo"? I don't think that's particularly appropriate. In most cases, you should be providing whatever the title of the website/article/post is. Also, you need to provide additional news sources for your article to meet WP:NALBUMS. As you probably know, all but two references on the article are social media posts and links to iTunes, Spotify and Tidal, which do not establish notability for an album. Please find additional news sources and start giving references correct titles. Thank you. Ss112 01:08, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

the parameters of my references

[edit]

Hi, the titles I used is appropriate, as if you checked the url I used, the content was to promote the album and the album release date, to be frank. But I do understand that I should use more professional titles, so thank you. The situation about the references, I see no problem using social media, since it's a direct source from the album artist. I used more than just social media, Apple, iTunes, Spotify and Tidal references too, there was two other references too. User:2real4ufn 09 : 08, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

It doesn't matter what your opinion on social media sources is, we do not prefer primary over third-party news sources, and social media does not establish the relevance of the facts or news. Do not remove the refimprove template again until you fix the issue of over-reliance on social media sources. Adding two or three news sources doesn't balance it out. Also, you have again used incorrect reference titles. Do you need an admin to guide you in the right direction? Because I will contact one if you think I'm just giving you my opinion on what I think you should do here. Ss112 07:10, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Machine Gun Kelly discography have been reverted

[edit]

You provided absolutely no explanation for these edits, and that is not an acceptable thing to do. Please discuss the removal of large amounts of information like this on the talk page, especially when they're sourced as being singles and have been in place for several years and especially now you've been reverted as well per WP:BRD. Any further removals of large amounts of information like this will result in warnings and potentially you being reported. Thank you. Ss112 06:21, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An extended welcome

[edit]

Hi 2real4ufn. Welcome to Wikipedia. I've added a welcome message to the top of this page that gives a great deal of information about Wikipedia. I hope you find it useful.

Additionally, I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter. Regardless, editing in a manner that promotes an entity or viewpoint over others can appear to be detrimental to the purpose of Wikipedia and the neutrality required in articles.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 17:01, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article Chico Bean has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chico Bean requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. How can the article not have had enough sources, there were over 20 references, majority of them from established primary sites and sources. Your page said you specialise in helping article improve their content, but you couldn't do that here? My hard work in research and notes, gets removed in less than 24 hours and I'm supposed to just be okay? And continue improving content that has been proofread and referenced almost at every corner. Sorry to make this personal, but that's my hardwork just removed. I take it personally. User:2real4ufn 15:15, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You should familiarize yourself with WP:RS because none of the sources you cited is reliable. GSS💬 13:22, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

How was it not reliable, it was all news sources. User:2real4ufn 15:46, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 2real4ufn. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Maintain (Belly song)".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
