Nomination of DesignContest for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article DesignContest is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DesignContest until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Replied at the article deletion entry. Your prompt reaction involving focused work would be appreciated as the deletion requests don't sit there forever. Why this article still nomitaded and no one take part in disscion? What I do wrong?

Wikipedia is a volunteer run website. As such they have lives and do this on their spare time. They will respond over 7 days (or more) and a decision will be made. Mkdw^talk 03:19, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

The article still has absolutely no mention of relationship of the subject by independent entity which the entity itself initiated. (It also is in a promotional tone, mentioning "true crowdsourcing principles", "great resonance", for example, which are subjective and opinionated. Here is the text you added and I have bolded the objectionable bits per The Five Pillars.

The lake is perfect for swimming, fishing and water skiing. Campsites, some of which are accessible,(?) are available for tent campers and RVs alike.[ref] "Loon Lake Recreation". Recreation.gov. 2010. [/ref]

Here is how it might be written neutrally:

Loon Lake is a recreation area 20 miles (32 km) east of Reedsport, Oregon. It has a campgrounds with a sandy beach and a lake suitable for swimming, fishing and water skiing. It has camping for tents and RVs.[ref] "Loon Lake Recreation". Recreation.gov. Retrieved 2014-02-15. [/ref]

Is that clearer? (I have also added a unit conversion and enhanced the citation a bit.)
