I am confused, why the moving it from "TBD TV" to "NewsChannel 8" then back to "TBD TV"? - NeutralhomerTalk15:22, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

What happened was that I failed to notice this requested move discussion — which doesn't really seem to have a clear consensus right now. After I noticed the discussion's existence, I moved it back to allow the discussion to continue. While the move is technically possible (which is how I managed to do it in the first place), and thus the only reason why the original request (though not the subsequent relisting) event went to requested moves in the first place was because it was done by an unregistered user (who, of course, can't move pages), the presence of any opposition indicates to me a need for a discussion to determine what to do. --WCQuidditch 15:46, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
OK, that makes sense. I kinda figured that was the case, but wanted to make sure. :) - NeutralhomerTalk23:49, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

I made the same revert on May 8th that you did on May 13th. I assume that since the user doesn't understand WP:CITE, he/she may not see your warning on User talk:97.80.174.36. I wonder where they get their "information"? Cheers! --Thomprod (talk) 19:49, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

GSN's stake

So the Hollywood Deadline was right. Sony does own 40% of GSN. Thanks for clarifying this because DirecTV's site said they own 65% of the network. I wanted to change it but I wasn't completely sure. King Shadeed 13:28, July 5, 2011 (UTC)

Jeremyawesome

Is there anything we can do about him? I just went on a logo reverting spree involving logos he uploaded as his "own work" over on Commons, so he obviously knows that adds an extra step in frustration for us. Nate (chatter) 02:28, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

A note about a reversion of the WTHI-TV article, although the vertical version of the logo for that station's soon-to-be Fox/MyNetworkTV-affiliated digital channel uploaded by User:Jeremyawesome may not have been warranted given the existence of a horizontal logo for the channel on the main article, the user who uploaded the logo may have actually falsely claimed it as his "own work" in Wikimedia Commons. I saw the vertical version of the "MyFox" logo in a story on the subchannel's cable carriage on a media blog run by Evansville Courier & Press columist Jacob Newkirk (link provided here: [1]), indicating that WTHI/LIN TV may very well be using the vertical version as an alternate logo for that channel. (TVtonightOKC (talk) 21:55, 30 August 2011 (UTC))

For what it's worth, I'm not disputing any WTHI-TV usage of the vertical logo… indeed, the false "own work" claim was a major driving factor in the reversion. (It seems Jeremyawesome has falsely claimed quite a few station logos (past, present, and future) as "own work" on Commons, which should rightfully come as a shock to the stations…) --WCQuidditch 22:06, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Citadel/Cumulus Media Networks

The name "Citadel Media Networks" is used on numerous pages (with the Wikilink included) that carry their various radio networks, so you might want to enlist a bot or at least AWB to help out in the transition of those links.
