Asian Games appearances (overview)

India is scheduled to compete at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, from 23 September 2023 to 8 October 2023. Earlier the event was scheduled to held in September 2022[1] but due to COVID-19 pandemic cases rising in China the event was postponed and rescheduled to September–October 2023.[2][3]

Broadcasting

Sony Sports Network acquired the exclusive media rights for Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou. The games will be broadcast live on television as well as on its OTT platform SonyLIV. SSN started a campaign to support the Indian contingent 150 days before the games were to be held. The campaign includes the slogan, ‘Hum Hai, Zidd pe Sawaar, Iss Baar, Sau Paar, Phir Se, Hum Honge Kamyaab!’ which means that India will cross the 100-medal mark this time.[4][5]
