Should it be noted that the song this is your night took the beat off a 1995 song called another night?

Another Singer named Amber

[edit]

I take it this article is not on the singer of the same name who sings this song--- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBAsiYjEGV8 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.184.110.64 (talk) 03:03, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That song is not actually by an "Amber", it's by Livin' Joy.Nqr9 (talk) 23:18, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Marie-Claire Cremers

[edit]

Is Amber's real name Marie-Claire Cremers? Wikiquote's article on Amber (currently under VfD for complete lack of quotes) makes this claim, but nothing like that appears in this article. All-Music Guide lists "Marie-Claire Cremers" as songwriter on many of Amber's songs, and vice-versa, and the AMG entry for "Marie-Claire Cremers" says "see Amber", but again, the AMG "Amber" entry does not directly mention this name. What's the deal? ~ Jeff Q (talk) 02:04, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that is her name

[edit]

See her homepage, ref'd here.

One big page

[edit]

I have asked for this page to be wikified, as it needs to be organized into sections. ~ Chris the speller 17:01, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

[edit]

I've done some editing on this, but it still needs a lot of work. The article is very American-centric, and written from a fan's perspective.

Amber (singer)

[edit]

There is an article on Wikipedia on Amber (singer) that should be integrated with the present article. The one here is longer and more detailed.

I have made the merge. SilkTork 19:00, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article could have needed a cleanup

Amber (performer)Amber (singer) – A performer, huh? What does she perform? Oh, music? How does she perform it? With her voice? If only we had a word for people who do that... --BDD (talk) 19:26, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Personal Life? Career before solo albums?

[edit]

Since Amber was born in 1970 in Holland and started recording her own albums in 1996, shouldn't someone mention her life in between? When did she move to Germany? What was the last school that she went to? Where'd she start singing? Was there any connection with the Real McCoys before she started (I had heard that there was)? This is important info for someone who becomes interested in her works2602:306:CD9B:E9A0:19C5:F2A1:29A4:60FF (talk) 03:00, 26 July 2015 (UTC)Ed S.[reply]

Conflicting dates of birth?

[edit]

Two different dates of birth for the singer are listed on this page (9 May 1972 and 17 September 1969) IceTigress (talk) 13:26, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
