Can Buddhists use the other veggie/spices in the same family?[edit]

I read about not allowed to use 'Five Acrid and Strong-smelling Vegetables' or "Five Spices" but I was wondering that if they could use the other ones in the same family? Or just those specific spices and vegetables are banned? — ~~~~ ChauTrang (talk) 06:15, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
