In case you missed it

Mitaphane got back to you on the Anachronox scans, in case you missed it. I still had his talk page watchlisted from when I made my last request. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 20:34, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I just want to know when you are gonna responed to some of the comment to Anachronox's Peer Review? GamerPro64 (talk) 17:25, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to let you know that I started an FAC for the article. If you're interested in seeing what happens to it, here's its page. Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Anachronox/archive1‎. GamerPro64 21:39, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Count me in for the effort. My life is nothing but work and study for the time being, but we'll see if we can make this the anti-Daikatana of Wikipedia articles. ZeaLitY [ Talk - Activity ] 22:10, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Good stuff. And you know what's funny? the article for Daikatana was one of the main reasons I got into Wikipedia. GamerPro64 22:45, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah thanks for helping out with Czar's comments. Had problems on handling them myself. Should probably add you to the nominations part of the FAC seeing that you did most of the work beforehand. GamerPro64 23:34, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I did a bunch of Crisco's comments on the FAC but I don't think I can answer/fix the remaining issues left. As well that Citation Needed that was added in the "Characters" section. I sure where that CN is for to anyway. GamerPro64 21:38, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. I'll hit it tomorrow at the latest. ZeaLitY [ Talk - Activity ] 15:22, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Update on the FAC. Crisco is supporting the nomination now. Meanwhile, there are some comments by Czar that may need addressing. They include getting a gameplay image that is more representative of how its played and maybe making an article on the development of Anachronox. And I still don't know what to do with that Citation Needed. GamerPro64 19:57, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Anachronox

Sounds good. I hope all of that can be done in time, but, considering how quickly you rebuilt the article, I wouldn't be too surprised if you managed it. If I can find the time, I'll give the other five copyeditors a hand with Development and Reception. Of course, that's assuming that there'll be anything left to tweak; it seems like you're one of those rare Wikipedians who can simultaneously generate vast amounts of content and write FA-worthy prose. Good luck. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 19:13, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • That sounds pretty risky, but it might be your only option. I'll try to do a little spit-shine of the lead to prevent abrupt, Tony1-style opposition. It would have been better if the planned five copyeditors had volunteered, but nominating it early is probably your only hope of getting it featured by your June deadline. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 11:02, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just letting you know I created an article on Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes. You can't edit it yourself directly I guess due to WP:COI, but it's just a heads-up. "The dream of Zeal is alive!" Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 08:43, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since Chrono Trigger: CE is supposed to be part of the Chrono topic and in this Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Square_Enix#Chrono_Titles_Good_Topic, is there anything to help the article's plot summary? GamerPro64 22:51, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CC art

Hey Zeality, I haven't logged onto my Wikipedia account in ages...looked at a post you'd put on my wall sometime back (maybe...5 years? haha) asking about where to get the official artwork of CC characters with just plain white backgrounds for the Compendium (huge fan of all your work by the way...just finished watching all 90 Crimson Echoes videos. Anyway, creativeuncut.com is an excellent site for character artwork for many, many games. If you're still interested in getting character art with white backgrounds, you may want to contact the owner of that site. Hope all is well! --warpedmirror (talk) 06:44, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jarrid Mendelson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No significant coverage able to be found in independent reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The-Pope (talk) 15:14, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Anachronox

Hi. Please accept my apologies for being unable to post my review at Wikipedia:Peer review/Anachronox/archive1. Unfortunately I just haven't been able to get my head around the article enough to do a good review. Bradley0110 (talk) 18:41, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I made some review comments - sorry it took so long and please aks if you have further questions. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 14:19, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I will take a second look at it in the next 24 hours (hopefully in the next few hours). I am not working on anything of my own that needs a review right now - if you can review something off the Wikipedia:Peer review/backlog that would be great, especially anything from Sept 5 or older. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 01:42, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I've created a peer review for Halo: Reach on I'd greatly appreciate comments. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chrono Cross, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chibi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Anox Democratus.ogg

Thank you for uploading File:Anox Democratus.ogg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. czar  11:32, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:21, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Custom signature fix needed

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Changes to Wikipedia's software have made your current custom signature invalid.

The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error or obsolete HTML tags.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, you can fix your signature, or you can do nothing.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:

  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (Do not click the red "Restore all default settings" button, which will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)

Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:

  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Click the Learn more button next to the error to learn how to fix the error.
  3. Update your signature to fix the error.
  4. Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.

Solution 3: Do nothing:

  1. In accordance with a recent request for comment, all invalid signatures will be changed to the default, which looks like "Example (talk)", one month from now.
If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:05, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
