The Queers Night Out article
I disagree with your assertion that Queers Night Out is not a notable article. Although I did not elaborately develop the article, it describes a component of history: the public display of non-heterosexuality. This was a revolutionary development in American society and a dramatic shift from the closeted public practices of the past. I request that you re-create the article. If you feel that it does not adequately develop the notablity of the group, perhaps you could further develop it.

theIssue.com article
Please help me understand why my article was deleted without even a response to the Talk page? Could the article have been improved and saved? The article was not promotional and as the world's first blog newspaper, theIssue.com does have some historical significance. Furthermore the article was referenced to a press release on PR Web (http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb549391.htm). In this way the Wiki article was not made-up "fluff", but factual and unbiased. (Quintana 14:17, 14 September 2007 (UTC)).
SkaSoftware.com article
Dude, you deleted my article THAT quickly? Why? I was working on it as you deleted it. You didn't even give me a chance to add the stuff that would have been notable by WP standards. That isn't exactly fair that you did that. I added a editors note that could be easily seen in the articles history not to delete it since it was unfinished and to talk to me first before you do, so that I know what I have to do. Vgamer101 00:29, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Reliable source? How's this: http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?type=11&stype=all&tag=search%3Bbutton&om_act=convert&om_clk=search&qs=ska+software
That is the GameSpot.com profile for the company and when it comes to a reliable gaming source, you can't go much more reliable the GameSpot.com. Currently the GS profile for Ska Software only one game listed on it, but take a look at the single news link added in it:
The XNA Developement is distributed for developers to make games for Xbox Live Arcade and recently Microsoft held a Dream-Build-Play contest where they challenged independent game developers to create games using XNA, the first place finish being a publishing contract. James Silva, the owner of Ska Software tied in first beating out 4,500 other entrant from over 100 different countries. That is quite an accomplishment and thus, I think that makes them notable since they won a contest from MS like that. That was one of the things that I was going to add as well as well as a couple of different independent game awards and the style of games that they do.
Anyways, is this good enough? Vgamer101 00:55, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks. But in all reality, although that article only lists one game, a lot of company profiles on GameSpot for some reason don't list all of the games the company has made. Ska Software may be working on the game in question but they are also working on a second game as well as they have six to eight games already underneath their belt. I was going to add all that.
It shows on their website(s). One is www.totallyscrewed.net which is their old HTML site before the company renaming and their new games. The other is www.skasoftware.com which itself has a link to blog.skasoftware.com. Now, mind you, even though the current site just consists primarily consists of a simple front page and and a blog doesn't mean it is just some fly-by-night company.
It's just that James hasn't created a new website again that is beyond just a simple blog, but you can find a couple of his games already on WP that have articles such as "Yuki's Vacation", "Survival Crisis Z", and "Zombie Smashers series". Just do a quick WP search for those and you should find them. Or you could look at the site or Google them. They can be easily found. I was going to add a list of games they've done and links to to their individual wep pages if they have one.
Anyways, is this enough or still not enough? Vgamer101 01:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ska Software article is back up. How about now? Anything I'm missing? How about adding a stub template? Vgamer101 03:22, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Undeletion of article with insufficient references
Nawlin, I was involved in a article for deletion discussion a few weeks ago for Yuniti, due to the article having insufficient references and not being notable. A new article has been published which now establishes Yuniti's notability and is a published source, namely:

I'm terribly sorry for re-creating the article, I thought re-creating it would re-start the delete discussion. Thanks so much. - Marquinho —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marquinho (talk • contribs) 18:06, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

The comments in this article are facts and there are no unsubstantiated claims. TDVision has unique hardware and software that deserves it's own page. Deleting band page - middens
Dirty Wee middens should not have been deleted. This is a band with many fans and i feel it should stay. It is in no way an advert, and was never intended to be. It is simply information for fans of the band wanting to know more or the band's past and present work/members. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tiggatiger (talk • contribs) 18:37, August 21, 2007 (UTC).
Taxi Fares In Luton
I would have thought that you would put something on the Talk page first, before deleting the article. I noticed that you jumped in seconds after I added a 'hangon' tag, presumably to stop anyone else airing an opinion.
The matter of transport fares is a subject of considerable interest in the UK (of course you would not know that). The subject is mentioned on the Luton wiki. You would not know that either (you should go over there and delete that paragraph, unless you're worried about editing a page on a subject you know absolutely nothing about?). People should be allowed to amend and clean up articles according to peer review rather than arbitrary decisions made without discussion by people thousands of miles away.
I'm sure you are glowing from your little exercise of power. Anyway, I noticed that you seldom, if ever, respond to any of the people here whose work you cut, so you probably won't read this as its hard to find the time, what with all that deleting you have to do.
What I have noticed about the self-appointed deleters of this world is that they don't like their decisions being challenged, they threaten if anyone debates them and they enjoy it.
I would have been happy to change the article substantially and modify its title, I would have welcomed help from others doing that and I would not have felt in anyway bad about it. Thats what its about, constructive criticism and improvement by collaboration.
As it is, I won't bother adding to Wikipedia again because I am sick to my back teeth of people like you.
What's particularly sad is that you and your ilk will put off so many new contributors, particularly kids, because they will be so disheartened by seeing their first effort scrubbed before they have even had a chance to log in on the second day to improve it.
Sad.
PS. On your user page you only have two links 1) Articles I've started and 2) Barnstars (whatever that means). But for some mysterious reason you have forgotten the link to "Other People's Pages I Have Deleted"
I'm sure this is not a deliberate omission. Everyone on Wikipedia will be fascinated to read the list of articles you have started, but you are denying yourself the adulation of your peers by depriving us of a list of the articles you have deleted. Please do not deprive us of the opportunity to bask in the presence of of a new Caesar by denying us the chance to bear witness to the towering achievement of adding a delete tag.
With all due respect,

Mark Delgado
You state that you are from New Orleans. That's pretty far from the Bay Area. Mark Delgado is known throughout the area... He's pretty much a local celebrity. He has appeared on TV and on the radio numerous times. His MySpace page has over 10,000 friends. Cory Kennedy is no more of a celebrity than him.
Japs Clan
"incidental" you even said it yourself there are many clans, please tell me how is one "incedentally" entered into a gaming magazine. That picture and the other articles I have should be considered notable enough. I dont understand why you are giving me such a hard time with this entry, maybe your a little biased yourself. There are other interviews besides the j00lz one I showed you that should be considered notable even though they are on a wiki there is no way I can re-create it, its a very known website Counter-Hack Interview. Avengingxangel 19:56, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
One more edit how come were able to be talked about in counter-strike but are not able to make a wikipedia about it even though I now gave you three good sources and about that magazine you cant go to google and type counter-strike cheating without japs coming up. So much for not being notable I dont even care if you give it to us anymore but I really think your being unreasonable and giving me a hard time about such a little thing. Please unblock creation of Master of the Squared Circle
I've created entirely new text for this entry, which I believe adheres to Wikipedia's standards. However, I can't upload it because the person before me kept reloading the same text after it was repeatedly deleted. The new article is in proper format and cannot be considered a "game guide" or advertising. Also, the game is just as notable as other similar games that have not had their entires deleted. Please unblock.
Regarding the Deletion of Intolerance Records
The first half of your first point is valid. I guess I don't know the difference between unique hits and the results that pop up when you search. Keep in mind that I was making the record company article first, then an article for each band on the label. You wouldn't even let me make the first page so you don't even know what bands are on the label, so you don't know if it is notable or not! Why would you do that!? The bands are notable, thereby making the record company notable as well. Read on.
The second half of your first point is incorrect though. According to WP:MUSIC under Criteria for musicians and ensembles it says, and I quote: "A musician or ensemble (note that this includes a band, singer, rapper, orchestra, DJ, musical theatre group, etc.) is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria:" Then, under the criteria, there are twelve points but a band must only meet ONE of the criteria. The good news is, Slugwrench meets several. I will now illustrate for you, complete with references a few of these points. Keep in mind, according to [[WP:MUSIC], I must only meet one!
"has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable. This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, magazine articles, and television documentaries"
Slugwrench is cited as research material in the bibliography section in ‘THE FUTURE IS HAPPENING ALREADY’: INDUSTRIAL MUSIC, DYSTOPIA AND THE AESTHETIC OF THE MACHINE which is a thesis submitted in accordance with the requirements of the University of Liverpool for the degree of Doctor in Philosophy Dr. by Karen E. Collins in 2002. A third party independent researcher on the subject of industrial electronic music. Dr Collins can be contacted at: Dr. Karen Collins, Canadian Centre for Arts and Technology, University of Waterloo. 200 University Avenue West. Waterloo, Ontario, Canada N2L 3G1. Her website is: [Dr. Karen Collins http://www.gamessound.com/]
The main major Newspaper in Tulsa, Oklahoma called "The Tulsa World" has written several pieces on the band. Here is a link to just one: [Tulsa World Official Site http://www.tulsaworld.com/entertainment/article.aspx?articleID=L061199007]
Slugwrench appeared in International music Magazine Alternative Press in March of 1999. AP doesn't have it online but a fan made site has it reprinted on their site. I have the paper version of the magazine that it appears in. Here is the link to the story on the fan made site: [The Slugwrench http://www.fortunecity.com/tinpan/sutcliffe/588/ap.html]
Slugwrench has sold 22,000 records to date to a worldwide audience. [Trigi's Page of Intolerance http://hometown.aol.com/trigi/index.html]
Urban Tulsa's Joey Zielanzinski was quoted as saying, "Jason Shepherd, whoever you are, you are very sick. And brilliant." Urban Tulsa doesn't have it in their archives but I found it on yet another site. It's an electronic music site with five different electronic music bands: Download, Aphex Twin, Skinny Puppy, Autechre and Slugwrench. Are you going to tell me that those bands aren't notable either? Should we check their articles and make sure they have references? [Electronic Music Site http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Basement/3881/slugwrench.html]
Shall I continue? Remember, I only need one, I've given you five.
Now I must address your second point which I completely disagree with. I can cite resources and was preparing to when you deleted it. Their are several fan made websites and magazines with reviews and interviews. When I read the Marilyn Manson Wiki page, most of those sources are fan sites or worse, sites made by Christians that hate Manson and they make up lies anyway.
Third, when I said "my" label I wasn't being literal. I meant I am their biggest fan. Example: You know when idiots are listening to the radio and a song they like comes on and they say, "This is MY song!" Of course they don't mean they own the copyright to that song, the individual is merely expressing their appreciation of the song in question.
Fourth, I apologize for the Ice Records thing, I acted out of haste and anger (The story of my life). When I read the article I noticed it didn't comply with the Wiki article rules so I did what any responsible Wikian would do and exact swift blinding revenge. I digress back to the point: You claim that Ice Records has notable artists on it's roster and I claim they don't. I claim that Intolerance Records has notable artists on it's roster and you claim they don't. It's a difference of opinion. It comes down to ones definition of the world "notable".
All of your "points" have been discredited. Please allow me to continue my work undaunted.
Thank you for copying the article to my userspace. I will work on it and when I think it's acceptable, I will contact you and you can give me the acceptance or denial and I will act on it accordingly.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

About Deleting Modern Red
How can I indicate how or why the subject is notable or not? I personaly know the band and they asked me to make a page. I have linked their pages to the page along with pictures and videos of the band, which I have also created. I really want this page to stay, what do I need to do?
Referancing: Robbinex
Hi, you recently proposed that the article "Robbinex" be deleted because it was a non-notable company. However this is not the case but it is difficult to prove this because of a lack of wikipedia information on Mergers and Acquisitions. For example, Robbinex was founded in 1974 and has several offices across north america but it is hard for one to find this notable without knowing that the average lifespan for this type of business is under 18 months and average size is 1-2 employees (which the wikipedia article on mergers and acquisitions does not mention among other things) . Also, it is difficult to mention the comapany's notable contributions to mergers and acquisitions academia considering that the section itself doesn't have anything notable on this field. Not even a mention of some of the large organizations that widely teach M&A practice at that! So, my question is, is there a way around rebuilding/bringing up to speed, your M&A section in order to reference (and thus keep) my article?
Please reverse deletion: Intolerance Records
The Wiki article about Intolerance Records was removed and the reason cited was that "the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable". It also said something about how the only contributor was user IntoleranceRecords. Well the article was only up for about 30 seconds prior to your speedy deletion. How are any other contributors supposed to see the article when it's deleted so quick? That was extremely, rude by the way, deleting something that took me six hours to make, simply because you've never heard of it. I was in the process of making all the pages, citing the importance of each project. One of the bands on my label, Slugwrench, has done remixes for Skinny Puppy, another band on my label, Dog Vs Cat has worked with Duma Love from Sean Lennon's band Cibo Matto (You can read about Cibo Matto on Wiki.). Have you ever heard of Skinny Puppy or Sean Lennon? (You can read about Skinny Puppy and Sean Lennon on Wiki.) Did you try using a search engine to search for the record label?! Or how about our star act Slugwrench? Google currently cites about 4,140 results for Slugwrench (and used to have over 12,000), and Intolerance Records over one million, but I guess that's not enough. Slugwrench is back in the studio recording their second album after a ten year hiatus! Slugwrench just signed a major deal with Some Bizarre Records to have a track on their new Some Bizarre Compilation. (You can read about Some Bizarre Records on Wiki.) That's important news. My record company has been around since 1992! I read your guidelines and I read Wikipedia's guidelines and what I'm trying to do here does not violate any rules.
I was in the process of adding all the bands on the label to Wiki along with their individual achievements. The record labels notable achievement is having the bands on the label! You deleted it before I even had a chance to add the band wiki pages!
This is ridiculous. I was always a Wiki fan in the past. Avid user and recommend often to others, but this situation has left a sour taste in my mouth. Please let me know what I need to do here or if you will admit you were wrong and please undelete the page (as you were the one who deleted it) and there is no back up anywhere. Thanks.
Deletion of PoKéQuesT
According to the Criteria for Speedy Deletion Page, as well as the Notability page; this article (PoKéQuesT) did not meet the criteria for Speedy Deletion. As quoted on the Criteria for Speedy Deletion Page, you would have deleted this article (PoKéQuesT for the following reason)
* Non-notable subjects with their importance asserted: Articles that have obviously non-notable subjects are still not eligible for speedy deletion unless the article "does not assert the importance or significance of its subject". If the article gives a claim that might be construed as making the subject notable, it should be taken to a wider forum. However, articles with only a statement like "This guy was like so friggin' notable!" can be deleted for lacking context, because it gives no context about the subject.
However, that reason is listed as a Non-criteria, per the following:
Sometimes speedy deletion criteria are applied to articles that they do not and were not intended to apply to; also, rules that are not speedy deletion rules are often mistakenly used to justify speedy deletion. This section aims to clarify some of the frequently used "non-criteria" that are commonly cited but are not sufficient, by themselves, to justify speedy deletion. These are not rules and intended only to be commonly-understood interpretations of the criteria above.
Please, restore this article (PoKéQuesT).
Notability
I'm not saying that the article was not Notable; (and when the project becomes more notable I will recreate the page); however I do not believe your actions followed those set by the Wikipedia Guidelines. And the Notability remark is partially questionable because it only has notability guidelines for websites; bands; and groups of people; none of which the article (PoKéQuesT) was about.
Question Regarding Deletion
The article Your Favorite Band was deleted by you. This band has participated in the UCSD Sun God Festival, which is one of the more prominent musical events that take place in the area and the biggest musical event at UCSD. The band has also been the subject of review by multiple independent sources. Does this not qualify as notability? They seem at least as notable as fellow San Diego artist Long Live Logos. Question Regarding Deletion
The article Life Fitness was deleted by you. I was not the author, but thought it should have stayed, as the company is certainly very notable. Adrade 00:40, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Question Regarding Deletion
The article about Troy Clegg was deleted as i did not point out notability, however troy clegg is one of the tallest NCAA football players and a member of the 2006 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Champion hampton pirates. please let me know what i have to do to prevent the deletion of this page.
How do i properly cite him? he is on NCAA rosters and the schools website.
ok and what about the height though, they do point out his height, and he is one of the tallest NCAA players, im actually trying to prove he is the tallest, he is actually 6'10" now, and im trying to find someone taller on other rosters.
Question Regarding Deletion
Hi, this is in reference to the article on easyscript speed writing. I've read your notes and was wondering what you would suggest I do to the article to make it valid. The technique is a valid form of note taking / short hand. Should I append this information to an existing article (speedwriting, note taking?) I believe I have found a few references for the topic that I could incorporate. Also, since other techniques have their own articles such as shorthand and teeline shorthand, wouldn't it be ok for this particular method to have it's own article? I particularly have an interest because of my work with individuals with deaf/blindness disorders and I think this method could be beneficial to that community researching wikipedia for options. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Will I have to bring this matter to another sysop? I need to know why my page was deleted. If there's no reason, then it shouldn't have been speedily deleted.

I don't know if you did indeed read my edit, but I included sources proving the site to have more than 12,000 mmbers. deletion question
I was just wondering why you deleted the "Media Optimization" article that I posted yesterday, August 1st. Your response would help me not make the same mistakes in future articles. Thank you. Msukach 14:27, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
clarification
Thank you for your response. I still don't quite see how a link to an analytical article is spam just because it connects to a company website. After all, the voice was neutral, and no individual company was promoted. Even so, I would understand how it could be perceived that my article on Media Optimization was self promotion, except for the existence of articles like "Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization," which has been marked as an advertisement but not deleted. Could you explain to me exactly how the criteria work? Because I have seen numerous informative articles whose value has not been diminished by the location of the articles from which they cite. Was the link the only problem with my contribution, or was there anything in the text of the article also? Thanks again! Msukach 15:34, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Copyright violation
Hello NawlinWiki,
I wonder why you didn't delete the Top World Cup Soccer Team Performance article, because imho this is a copyright violation to the GFDL (especially 4B) we use here. User:Kr2kewl "created" this article by copying the content of FIFA World Cup team rankings without the mention of the original authors ([1], [2]). Strictly speaking the FIFA World Cup team rankings article is also a copyright violation to FIFA World Cup, the mention of the source (at the bottom of the article) instead of the original authors normally isn't sufficient. --Oxymoron83 00:15, 3 August 2007 (UTC) There can't be a copyright violation from copying a Wikipedia article, because Wikipedia content is not copyrighted -- it's under the GFDL, which allows free reuse.
- Wikipedia content allows a free reuse under the terms of the GFDL, that's not contested. But the GFDL requires the mention of the original authors (Point 4B, as I wrote above). As the user didn't do that, he violated the GFDL, and so the copyright violation has to be deleted, I think? --Oxymoron83 02:36, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi NawlinWiki,
Did you already delete this article [3]? If so, it's back. Blatant promotion, and most of the text was simply lifted from Rembrandt's bio, with names and titles changed. Thanks for your attention, JNW 02:20, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Please reverse deletion - Wi-Fi array
Please repost the Wi-Fi array article -- Wi-Fi Array is an industry term and is being used by several technical experts from Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, NetworkComputing, Interop, eWeek, CNET, etc. As the article states, it is a wireless network computing device that incorporates multi wi-fi radios. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
I used the Xirrus Wi-Fi Array as an example just like numerous other articles (i.e. Dell listed on the Access point article, etc). If access point is allowed to be posted, than so should Wi-Fi array. It should not be excluded just because it is not as widely known as the access point.
By the way, user Aamrod who tagged this article "speedy deletion" is a fraudulent user. Alan Amrod is the VP of Xirrus and did not request this. Obviously someone else (perhaps a competitor to Xirrus) created the username and tagged every article referencing Xirrus. Seems like vandalism to me.

Google search of the term Wi-Fi Array goes for a couple of pages of Xirrus only or Xirrus Advertising, News releases, paid for articles, etc. And as the http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2006_Sept_18/ai_n16728885 press release shows Xirrus claims the patent on the Wi-Fi Array! If Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, etc., are talking about it its because your outbound marketing people are doing their jobs. But you knew that because you are one of them, in fact you work for Alan Amrod.
We get most the terms we use as a society in this same fashion -- someone develops it, then someone adopts it. Creating a NPOV article on a product or tachnology being used by thousands of people and organizations is not spam. Jlmerrill 21:04, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
User Aamrod has never made any claims to be or not be an employee of Xirrus or any other competitor but Jlmerril seeks to appear an innocent bystander "educator" rather than a Xirrus employee. Which user is fraudulent? Aamrod 07:48, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Nor did I. Jlmerrill 21:04, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Wi-Fi controller
Please repost the Wi-Fi controller article -- Wi-Fi controller is an industry term used by all industry experts and customer (i.e. Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, NetworkComputing, Interop, eWeek, CNET, etc). As the article states, it is a wireless network computing device that controls multi wi-fi radios. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted, so I thought I would post a few of them.
I used the Xirrus Wi-Fi Controller as an example just like numerous other articles (i.e. Dell listed on the Access point article, etc). If access point is allowed to be posted, than so should Wi-Fi array. It should not be excluded just because it is not as widely known as the access point.
Regards. Jlmerrill 03:48, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
One of the requirements for inclusion in wikipedia is that the subject be notable and of wide interest. If so then it should have verifiable independent references, be written from a neutral point of view, etc. Are you claiming notoriety by virtue of its insignificance?
Aamrod 07:52, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
There's that sarcasm again. I am claiming significance of Wi-Fi Controller (also known as wireless controller, Wi-Fi controller, and wireless switch) based on millions of customers, analysts, and associations throughout the world using it (IEEE, Wi-Fi Alliance, ITU, etc all use the term). It would have been more appropriate to create a conversation about this page to verify its significance than delete something you don't know. Jlmerrill 21:29, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Wireless switch
Please repost the Wireless switch article -- Wireless switch is an industry term and is being used by several technical experts from Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, NetworkComputing, Interop, eWeek, CNET, etc. As the article states, it is a wireless network computing device that that acts much like a wireless switch...which remains listed. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
If wired switch is allowed to be posted, than so should wireless switch. It should not be excluded just because it is not as widely known as the wired switch.
Regards. Jlmerrill 03:51, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Wi-Fi threat sensor
Please repost the Wi-Fi threat sensor article -- Wi-Fi threat sensor is an industry term and is being used by several technical experts from Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, NetworkComputing, Interop, eWeek, CNET, etc. As the article states, it is a wireless network computing device that is deployed to monitor the RF environment for threat such as roque access points, etc. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
Regards. Jlmerrill 03:57, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Integrated access points
Please repost the Integrated access point -- Integrated access point is an industry term and is being used by several technical experts from Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, NetworkComputing, Interop, eWeek, CNET, etc. As the article states, it is a series of access points or radios integrated into a single product. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
By the way, user Aamrod who tagged this article "speedy deletion" is a fraudulent user. Alan Amrod is the VP of Xirrus and did not request this. Obviously someone else (perhaps a competitor to Xirrus) created the username and tagged every article referencing Xirrus. Seems like vandelism to me.
Regards. Jlmerrill 04:02, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
An educator should know its spelled vandalism.
This is a professional site used for educating readers. Though I appreciate you correcting vandalism, please refrain from using acerbic statements. By the way, "its" is spelled "it's" when used as a contraction for "it is", "encylopedic" is spelled "encyclopedic", the possessive of who is "whose" not "who's", etc. Jlmerrill 20:18, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Aamrod is a spooky coincidence I agree but I don't think that users ever claimed to be Alan Amrod nor to speak for Xirrus. Yes I did create the name and did attempt to erase obvious spam as many many editors do on here and as we are encouraged to do on the welcome page. No I am not a competitor employee. Yes I do seek to be anonymous when dealing with litigious commercial companies.
I'll take your word for it, though I remain skeptical as the coincidence is hard to swallow. Jlmerrill 20:18, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I didn't tag all Xirrus pages, I tagged a whole set of self-referencing pages who's history showed they had all been created in the last few days by a single user who only listed contribs are those spam pages.
Aamrod 07:52, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I intended to grow this article over the coming month with more text and citations as many other articles do. I'll be sure to add them when I repost. Jlmerrill 20:18, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Mutli-sector antenna system
Please repost the Multi-sector antenna system article -- Multi-sector antenna system is an industry term used by several technical experts from Craig Mathias, NetworkWorld, NetworkComputing, Interop, eWeek, CNET, etc. As the article states, it is an alternative technology to omni-directional antenna systems -- both are Wi-Fi RF systems and need clarification for users. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
Regards. Jlmerrill 04:07, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
And as a Xirrus employee you always use answers cut and pasted from the sales literature, which is why this is spam. Aamrod 07:26, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Spam is not defined as "cut and paste from the sales literature" -- which this was not. Multi-sector antenna system is used throughout the wireless industry -- cellular, Wi-Fi, etc. Jlmerrill 21:38, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Multi-radio access point
Please repost the Multi-radio access point -- Multi-radio access point is an industry term and is being used by everyone in the industry -- analysts, vendors, customers, etc. As the article states, it is a series of access points or radios integrated into a single product - also known as an Integrated access point. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
Regards. Jlmerrill 04:10, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Multi-channel MAC
Please repost the Multi-channel MAC article as it is an industry term and is being used by everyone in the industry. This is a relatively new technology that incorprated numerous MACs into one. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.
Regards. Jlmerrill 04:12, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Please reverse deletion: Reference Poster
Please repost the Reference Poster article as it is an term used by multiple industries as explained in the article. Just about every vendor, association, etc use these reference posters to explain complicated topics to customers and students -- it is not a vendor product. As an Educause Association member/educator, I am constantly being asked about this and other Wi-Fi terms which I recently posted.

Please reverse deletion - Xirrus
OK, seems like everything relating to Xirrus in Wikipedia was deleted -- why?
As an employee in the marketing dept. that wouldn't be a good thing to tell your boss.
Aamrod 07:57, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
It was written to give a basis of knowledge for those reading about various Wi-Fi technologies (Wi-Fi threat sensor, Wi-Fi array, Multi-radio access point, etc).
All of which are Xirrus trademarked, copyrighted, patent pending terms and technologies. This does not make this a neutral industry/technology encylopedic article. Its commercial spam.
Aamrod 07:57, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Incorrect again. They are not all Xirrus trademarked, copyrighted, or patent pending terms -- please check your facts. Even if they were, that does not constitute spam. There are thousands of terms in Wikipedia that are trademarked, copyrighted, and patented by various organization – Adobe, Apple, Cisco, Microsoft, Kraft Foods, Ford, etc.
Jlmerrill 21:34, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
This article was written like all the other high-tech industry companies I found in Wiki including Intel, Cisco, Microsoft, Juniper Networks, Stamps.com, etc, etc.
As mentioned before, user Aamrod who tagged this article "speedy deletion" is a fraudulent user. Alan Amrod is the VP of Xirrus and did not request this. Obviously someone else, most likely a competitor to Xirrus by creating the username and tagged every article referencing Xirrus for deletion. Seems like vandelism to me.
Please reverse -- many thanks:-)
You are welcome

Thank you for your reply. I understand and agree I probably referred to Xirrus too much. I will re-post based on your comments.

Integrated access points, Multi-channel MAC, Multi-radio access points, Multi-sector antenna system, Reference posters, Wi-Fi array, W-Fi array controller, Wi-Fi controller, Wi-Fi threat sensor, and Xirrus.
Many thanks!
Improperly deleted redirect
I understand this was tagged for deletion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Undelete/Sonic_3D:Flickies%27_Island

Hey i was gonna finish making it encyclopedic, as ive heard about it from a few people, more along the lines of what it is and not the company (you gotta admit making executives try to rock has a comedic element) it would be done in the same manner as kleenex referring to tissue paper.. or ipod to a mp3 player. i just sorta forgot to finish the article.. ill get too it sooner or later Rankun 07:59, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Wikicodia - Why the deletion
I don't know what to change to the article Wikicodia in order not to delete it.
If you check the last version before deleting you'll find a big difference, I've removed all things you told me to remove, I've read the about speedy deletion. So I tried to make it very neutral and removed any Spam like section.
So why is the delete again?
Question Regarding Deletion of Across-the-Board
Why did you delete en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Across-the-Board_Blog? This site is relevant and significant. Google 'Across the Boards' and you'll find it as the first natural listing. Notice the site has a PR 5 rating. The relevancy and impact the online community is notable. Furthermore, the authors (Ramsey) is a lifecaster on Justin.TV. He is live on www.justin.tv/ramsey
- actually number one is a exhibition around the world in 18 games from the British museum, but this is besides the point, doing a quick google search yields 3 results, firstly the site itself, secondly a site where blogs are listed for free, and thirdly wikipedia itself despite it no longer existing as a page. i agree with narlin, its not notable enough.--KerotanTalk Have a nice day :) 09:55, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
A quick question, what did you think was notable (or asserting notability) about this town councillor? Nuttah68 12:16, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Frank Dalby Davison
Hey, what happened. I just spent an hour working on an article on Frank Dalby Davison (I had categories for it, a reference, two headings) and you deleted it under my nose. How could that happen? I'm completely confused. Sterry2607 12:44, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Something peculiar happened. I had a page in front of me that I had developed - it had plenty of content but it was deleted as I worked on it. It was all there, I previewed it - several paras - and then when I saved it it disappeared. This is a bit heartbreaking. Just after I started working on it I think I managed to save it with almost nothing in it (that minimal data your saw) BUT I just kept working on expanding it. While I was doing that you deleted it? How can that be? How can an article be deleted while it is being worked on? I assume it's not recoverable? Sterry2607 12:52, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- I guess I understand but I'm disturbed. I think it was deleted as I was working on it. One minute there was the speedy deletion tag and next minture there was a statement saying it had been deleted. All this happened while I was previewing my content, and within an hour of my starting to work on it. I guess I don't understand why something - even something minimal - is deleted within an hour of its being created. Isn't there some time lag allowed to let people develop articles? Sterry2607 13:01, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Again thanks for the response. I'm feeling quite frustrated with how things work here (and this is no particular reflection on you). I feel that the hand is too quick - that people like me who are pretty new and haven't quite worked out how best to work are, in a sense, 'attacked' - that's how it feels - within minutes of doing something. I noticed another person had a speedy deletion tag put on 15 mins (!) after they created the article. In my case though it was worse - I created it (saved it in error in fact - my fingers slipped and I noticed it had been saved by mistake but didn't realise that anything would happen that quickly) and was working on it when a speedy deletion tage was applied. Stupidly I didn't look at the 'new message' the minute it popped up to discover what it was about, and then within half an hour the article was deleted (just as I was saving the content - and whoops, there went all the work I'd just written, formatted and was in the process of previewing). The point is that I was working on it right there and then and because I was working on it hadn't seen the speedy deletion tag go on. I can't face doing all that work again right now - but I'm sure I will again in a few days. :-) The reason I am harping at poor you is because I am finding that things happen here too quickly. We don't want rubbish on line but, on the other hand, it would be nice to nurture people just a little more. This can be done I think by looking at dates - and allowing 24 hours to pass before anything serious is done on the assumption that people are actually working on their article (unless of course the thing being deleted is serious vandalism). Hamnavoe Gallery
Hi, I noticed that you deleted the page about the Hamnavoe Gallery in Aberdeen Scotland.
I was wondering why as I tried to write it within the submission guidelines set by you guys. If you could advise me how to write a better one I would really appreciate it. There are loads of Galleries in Aberdeen and I wanted to write about this one.
Melana 22:35, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Melana
Hi again,
Thanks for advising me about the requirements for the article.
I had no real idea about all of this - I really should have done more research through Wiki before trying to write an article.
I was wondering if a small gallery in aberdeen IS worth the article but the more I read about notability and verifible evidence, the more confident I become that this is a place that needs writing about. BUT where to start? I have started to re-write the article on my pc but I am going round in circles... There is so much that this gallery has done in just 2 years and it is hard to get the wording right. I have found newpaper editorials and articles about the charity work with a guy off Emmerdale, and a review by a professor ( a famous Art Historian) but I am at a loss as to where to go with it now?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. (BTW you were right to have it deleted!) Thanks Melana 09:32, 12 August 2007 (UTC)Melana

Deletion question
Why are articles in the {{Needed-Class}} such as Talk:Farm to Market Road 1957 and Talk:Texas State Highway 169 being deleted? Notability of Ice Records
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ice Records, by Intolerancerecords (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ice Records seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ice Records, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:08, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gavin Hoyte
Hi, nothing has changed since this page failed the AfD since he played in a friendly and not a competitive match - see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gavin Hoyte. Why did you decline the speedy, please? BlueValour 18:10, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- No, when top teams play friendlies against lesser mortals they field all sorts of players - reserves, youth team players and trialists. It has been accepted across very many discussions that only competitive games count for notability. Arsenal field a full reserve squad for Carling Cup games and much to my chagrin these count but Hoyte hasn't featured in these either. SoccerBase is considered the database of choice and as you can see here they record that he has yet to appear. I should be grateful if you would reconsider the speedy position. BlueValour

You've deleted the article i've wrote, National Bolshevik Party USA, and i would like to ask you to restore it. It's a group that exists, and i gave their website, thats why it has the right to appear here. How this group is notable? That it's the first time that a group of National Bolsheviks comes together in the USA (unlike most of Europe for example that have at least to of those each in their country). Every article has the right to appear here as long as it's given references. I for example, if that's how it goes, think that you have a few articles like Ben Franklin High School for example that should be deleted. M.V.E.i. 17:35, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

question regarding deletion of Xoddo:
Nawlin,
you deleted the xoddo page because it came up as an advertisement. I am the creator of Xoddo, and had found "xoddo" popping up in search engines and listed on Wikipedia under "Stuffed Animals". I clicked on the link (in Wikipedia) to open an article on Xoddo, and subsequently added my info. what do I have to do add info without it appearing as advertising?

Bob and Penny Lord
Hi. I'm not sure if it matters, but I was checking the list of contested speedys, and I saw that User talk:Drew21889 had mistakenly put the {{hangon}} tag on his talk page to contest the speedy on Bob and Penny Lord. I removed the tag so that it wouldn't pollute the category, but I thought you might want to know if you had second thoughts about the speedy or not. - CosmicPenguin (Talk) 01:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Deletion of Vermontcentric
Hi NawlinWiki, I wonder if I might finish an article before you delete it? While I admire zelousness, it sems I've not been given opportunity to add references, or finish edits. As the article is not about about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, and I was not allowed even 30 minutes to finish writing, I do not see why it was deleted. The term can be cited in print as earlier as 1941 which doesn't seem to qualify it as a neologism. Thanks. Best, Jim CApitol3 12:19, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi NawlinsWiki, Thanks, but you may wish to hold off on restoring it. I am at work now and trying to take care of some loose ends before going in for some surgery this afternoon. I will hopefully be returning to fun stuff like wiki by mid or end of week. Will finish the article, adding refs then. Thanks. Jim CApitol3 15:14, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
RfD closures
Hey NawlinWiki, I'm dropping you a note here to let you know I fixed your RfD closures in the 2007 August 13 RfDs. We use {{subst:rfd top}} and {{subst:rfd bottom}} for redirect discussions (as opposed to AfD's tags), and they're placed inside the heading for the section. I did the 'fix' out of experience with respect to the way RfDs normally go; I hadn't checked the closing notes prior to making this specific edit so there might be a small discrepancy there but it's consistent with the rest of the latest RfD closures. Please help me improve the page Erik the Reds
This is a entry on a Dartmouth College tradition that is universally regarded as the "greatest" tradition on campus. There are no sources to cite this, as that kind of information is very informal. I searched the campus newspaper for hours but did not find anything. I tried to be as accurate as one possibly could be in regards to its history and things with sources.
thanks.
Regarding the Deletion of Bree Olson
This is the first time I decided to contribute to this site having beed an avid reader. As I am still learning how to post articles I saved my page part way through to test it. As all appeared to look okay so far I went back to edit it and got a message it had been deleted. I know you have to act quickly to remove dubious articles but that was insanely fast. I take on board that you have to protect yourselves but it doesn't make me want to take time to post if your going to pounce on me so quickly before I have a chance to finish!
I may continue tomorrow and try again or I may not. Lets see how I feel in the monrning.

my working page
You seem to have deleted my working page for a speedy analysis, Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion/Analysis1, which apparently showed up because i had not commented out a template. I assume it was an error, so I've restored it. If you really dont like it there, tell me, and I'll move it to my own talk space. Deletion of Chaz Prymek
Why did you delete Chaz Prymek. Chaz Prymek is a notable musician. He has played in many bands and has written, performed and recorded many songs. He has released albums and has gone on tours. He has thousands of fans. I put a hang on on the page and posted on the talk page why I thought that it shouldn't be deleted, but you deleted the talk page and the article almost as soon as a had posted on the talk page and didn't give anyone else a chance to say why they think the article should remain. I hope you will undelete it and hope that you give others a chance to view the page or argue why they think it is or is not a valid article.--Guaxini 19:37, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Input requested on AfD for Thai Airways flight 358
I saw that you nominated this page for a non-controversial deletion, which was disputed. About the artical you deleted
The article was not an advertisment but rather an explanation to what the website is about. The website is for everyone to enjoy, regardless of thier age, where they live and so on. The website is specially designed so that screen reader programs will work good with them. There is not many websites on the net that strive to accomplish a simple to use website for the disabled, everthing on the website is put on the website free of charge. The website is designed the way people ask for it to be designed. Below is a copy of the artical that was writen.
Online for the first time in April '06, Disabilitylinks.info is a support/assistance website listing links that could potentially be helpful to disabled persons. The site features a blog, forum, want-ads, personals and many links to businesses, music, e-mails, shopping, radio, etc. Presently, the site features over 600 links. There are many disability links on the 'net, including acb.org, maxiaids.com, and independentliving.com, but only a few of them are dedicated mostly to providing links. Ranked #13,386, this website has proved to be very fast rising on ranking.com.
i dont understand
if i made a wiki page about someone famous it would stay up. because they were in a band, or they are in movies. why are they any more important than joe shoeshiner who works at the tire plant. or ashton in the military. they aren't any more important. why let those articles stay up?
Why did you delete my iMemories article?
iMemories is actually a decent company and has a fairly significant piece of software that is the first of its kind on the Web. I got a chance to beta test the software and it's pretty amazing. It actually allows people to do video timeline editing in their browser (like Microsoft's Movie Maker and others). Please reconsider the deletion and I'd love to know what I can do to make sure that doesn't happen again in the future.

Deletion of John Jorgensen (housekeeping)
This might be a bit complicated. You deleted John Jorgensen on March 5, 2007 under CSD#A7. However, according to what I can gather at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Jorgenson in December 2006, There was a (mis-spelled article) at John Jorgensen, before a correctly title John Jorgenson was created. The content of the former was then supposedly going to be admin-merged into the latter, to preserve the history for the GFDL. I can't tell from the history at John Jorgenson if this was done "legally", or merely by copy/pasting. Would it be possible to check if everything's above board here? Cheers, --DeLarge 12:55, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Deletion of Ligas Unidas

Please recreate this template. User:Pizza1512 has been causing massive disruption to the university of oxford wikiproject by recreating these userbox templates, replacing them on user pages, and then having the originals deleted. The user is also subverting the CSD process for his own versions of the templates and is borderline for a listing on the admin noticeboard. Thanks AulaTPN 22:53, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Support this - after spotting changes on my watchlist, I saw that Pizza1512 had replaced the Wadham college templates with his/her own creations using fair-use, not free, images, then emptied the category the old templates populated in preference for a non-standard name of his/her own choice, before tagging the old categories for speedy deletion on the (completely inaccurate) ground that they had been empty for four days! I wouldn't be surprised if something similar had happened here too. BencherliteTalk 23:04, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Exeter (Band)
No questions really. I was pleased to see you emailed me though with your reasons for deleting the article; greatly appreciated that. Figured at first that someone just deleted it "just because." Honestly, I didn't get to complete the article, cite any sources, assert notability, etc. before I was called away from my desk, so there you have it. I merely assumed I could go back an edit. Thanks though, and no worries. I'll get to it, though I wish I had it backed up. --Allisonhd 14:19, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Regarding it meeting notability requirements: maybe it won't. And if it doesn't, then it'll be deleted. If it does, then it'll stay. Not a big deal. The only thing lost is the time it takes to type it up, which I will not do in Wikipedia's edit boxes so I'll have it in case something happens, and/or the time it takes one of Wikipedia's users/admin to review or delete it. As far as Conflict of Interest issues go, I'm similarly not worried. I've read the policy and I don't think that anything I would type regarding my band would be in violation of that policy. I have no intention of using subjective descriptors for the page. I'm a big fan of objectivity. My goal was to simply "biograph" the band to a degree and hope that our fans or objective observers of our music would flesh it out. You would get no "Exeter is an amazing band" type comments from me, nor would I expect to see any such comments on any Wikipedia page. In any event, I appreciate you taking the time to educate me on Wikipedia's policies and practices because I am most certainly a rookie when it comes to making pages and the such.--Allisonhd 15:50, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Fuelcellstore deletion
I understand that the entry I did for fuelcellstore could be seen as advertising, but I am trying to make a page about fuelcellstore.com and NOT have it be an advertisement. The store is a retail store, so it is tough. I would love some help fixing the post I did. It is like trying to make a page for Sears. It is hard to tell about the company without mentioning some of what is sold. I have included History, Technology, Education, and Services as Sub Titles. I find these informative, but not actually advertising. There are no specific products mentioned. Only, a overview about the company as a whole. Fuelcellstore 19:48, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Question about A7 deletions
I'm an admin for a couple of months now. I was deleting some articles at CSD and was told that I could not delete as A7 anything other than people, companies, bands and websites. I was told this was a strict interpretation of the rules which should be followed. I don't agree that's the best policy but that seems to be consensus so I will support it. However I just noticed you deleted a piece of junk called Cheese and crackers. I was about to do the very same thing but then remembered my rebuke. I saw you zapped it as a7. Now, I completely agree with what you did, but can you offer some enlightenment to a new guy on how this is supposed to work? Thanks. --JodyB yak, yak, yak 14:16, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
LAMPS
This is ridiculous, i've already been through this with two other wikipedia editors in the past two days. Rather than regurgitate everything thats already been said, please read my prior conversations with them and reinstate this page.
No offense, but where's the consistency in all of this? One editor takes it down, puts it back up, so another editor can take it down, put it back up, so yet ANOTHER can do the same thing? Fullmetaljacuzzi 15:44, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Well first of all the band has two full length releases on In The Red Records, which you can see on the catalog I linked to, and secondly, they have a listing on allmusic.com, which I also linked to before. If the other bands linked on the In The Red entry like The Ponys (band) or The Intelligence (band) can have entries why can't this one? They tour, they put out records. What more do you want? Question in conjunction with deletion of LatexEditor entry
Dear NawlinWiki,
it might not have been mentioned in the entry which have been deleted by you that the LEd LateXEditor (which mean that this is a text editor specially designed to help users working with a text edition system so called LateX) that this editor is supported by software endpendant from its makers, e. g. the open-source referece management program (which means a software cappable of helping accademics manage links to literature they usally work with) jabref.
If in your high opinion TeX, Jabref and reference management software make up a conspiring ring of circular reasoning please feel free to go on deleting entries such as: TeX, MikTeX, EndNote, Jabref, LyX, Kile, Emacs, WinEdt, BiBTeX etc.
I hope that this deletion is not due to 'Virgil McCarthy' like ip-based reasoning about entries' trustworthness. I should be alarmed if this would be the case.
I read the docs about deletion but your admin cogney does not give me much information "expired prod content was: '{{dated prod|concern = {{{concern|Article gives no indication of notability or verifiability with multiple indepe...')"
Could you please at least shortly explain to me what exactly "expired prod content" mean?
I hope you can give me this short insight as I think LEd is a LaTeX text editor which should be mentioned in enWiki with the same grade of importance as e.g. WinEdt or LyX.
Thank you for your kind attentiveness.

Deletion of DEALBAY
Dear NawlinWiki,
some time ago you deleted the page DEALBAY.
In the meantime the missing credibility should be compensated IMHO by several newspapers reporting about the site. May I just rewrite this article, citing these articles?
Kind regards, Karoline Matzke 14:05, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry to bother you again:
I have just reposted the article, now hopefully in accordance with notability guidelines as of your recommendations. Promptly another user has added "db-inc and reposted spam"-Tags. Is there anything else I (you?) can do except placing the "hangon" tag and adding the appropriate explanation to the talk page?
Now the article was deleted again. Maybe I am not that familiar with Wikipedia-Articles. It would be great if you could assist me in correctly adding this article. The website I was posting this article about is used by quite a lot of people in the UAE and I am not sure if I am correctly featuring it on Wikipedia.
Thank you in advance, Karoline Matzke 13:32, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Dear NewalinWiki, thank you very much for your repoonse and your detailled explantion. It really wasn't my intention to spam Wikipedia in any way. Nevertheless I will continue my search for the correct citation. The site dealbay.ae is really interesting for the UAE community. Is there a way to contact you directly next time I have (hopefully :-)) found some serious notability for the site to discuss the criteria with you directly? Thank you anyway!!! Redirect of Sukanya balakrishnan
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sukanya balakrishnan, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sukanya balakrishnan is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sukanya balakrishnan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. You call this a7 nonnotable, g11 spam content and mark it for speedy deletion. Have you even googled this or do you routinely mark articles for speedy deletion without apparently doing any research whatsoever?
How do I get what I originally wrote back so that I can edit it to conform to your expectations? I find your flippant way of deleting people's sincerely intended contributions as spam with a few clicks to be extraordinarily rude. Couldn't you just have marked it for regular deletion allowing me to fix it and allowing me to learn how to be a contributor?

Fuel Cell Store
Hi, I was in the process of providing a rational for the Fuel Cell Store entry before it was deleted again. Here it is:
The entry for Fuel Cell Store was incorrectly categorized under speedy deletion for apparently not stating the relevence of the topic. The text for the Fuel Cell Store article shows that the entry is relevent for the following reasons:
1.) Fuel Cell Store was the first retail outlet (store and website) to sell fuel cells to the general public.
2.) Fuel Cell Store was the first retail outlet (store and website) to publically publish prices for fuel cells, hence creating the marketplace for fuel cells to be available to the general public.
3.) As a result of Fuel Cell Store offering products to the general public, several rival companies would appear in 2003 leading to competitive pricing in the marketplace.
4.)Before Fuel Cell Store, only OEMs could purchase fuel cell products, and they could only purchase them through the manufacturer who provided a price quote.
5.) Even today, many companies and their press releases about fuel cells do not provide prices about fuel cell products, in many cases fuel cell store is still the only source to find published prices
6.) They have recieved contracts to be the exclusive provider of the U.S. DOE Science Bowl (which has a Wiki entry) for the past 4 years- which is as long as the Science Bowl has been featureing a hydrogen fuel cell competition ([15] [16])
7.) They have been the lead organizer for the International Youth Fuel Cell Competition since its inception in 2006, the only international competition open to high school students.
8.) No other retail site or fuel cell manufacturer has an international distribution infrastructure in place. Fuel Cell Store currently has operations in the US, Japan, Russia, Italy, & Portugal.
9.) No other retailer carries the amount of products (1200+), or the amount of vendors (100+)that are offered by Fuel Cell Store, which makes it relevent to the burgeoning fuel cell industry.
As Fuel Cell Store was the catalyst for creating the first competitive open marketplace for the fuel cells industry, the article is relevent in creating background for the development of the fuel cell industry in a historical context. Fuel Cell Store is relevent in its development of the fuel cell educational market.
There is no text that is promotional, the article is founded upon available information and known facts about the industry and the market (that can be validated by anyone related to the industry).
NawlinWiki, I understand you feel this article is blatantly promotional (g11) and does not assert is importance/significance (a7). I believe the key points that are highlighted above provide a strong argument for the importance and significance of the entry. I also beleive there is nothing about this article that is "blatantly promotional" or that would warrant that it needs to be "fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic." If there is a specific part of the article that needs to be rewritten for being promotional please define, as the whole article is not promotional. I do not want this article to seem promotional. I really appreciate your input and am willing to alter the text to meet your criteria. Thank you, Cread06 18:04, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Grounds for deleting my topic please?
I HAVE read through some of your 'guidelines'. And yes I DID come across:
A word you just made up, especially if it "means whatever you want it to mean."
If that is the basis of your grounds for deleting my topic then you must be misguided.
I did not do that.
I found an opportunity to name something. There is no name for the point at which a wall meets a ceiling or where a an "extra wall" (if you will) joins the wall to the ceiling.
What you just did...(Hyperthetically speaking of course.)
Me: "I've just discovered that this THING doesn't have a name. So I shall decided to call it this. Hell I've even post it on the internet. THIS is what it is going to be called."
You: "No."

I wasn't the author of that article, but I did a quick google search and came up with more than enough articles (NPR, various record review web journals, etc) to support notability. I wrote in the talk page that I would remove the speedy deletion tag and work on the article, however, as soon as I went back to the article you had already deleted it. I've been looking at such projects, and the way the coordination is handled is on a subpage of WP:SUP & by use of the article talk page. It is considered quite acceptable to explain there that it is a school project, and the rules. Here's an example: [18] and [19] and even a template {{Educational assignment}} .

Deleted Production Company Entry
I just tried to submit a new Wiki, it was about the Tempered Zealot Productions movie production company. I saw in your guidelines about you deleting that type of content when it comes to youtube video makers. We are not youtube video makes as one generally thinks of youtube. Also, I'd like to cite these other pages that have made it and in fact are friends of ours who've gotten through and I'd like to know how or why.

Re: IMDB
The IMDB link to the Tempered Zealot Productions listing shows a list of movies that made it onto the site because of meeting the criteria (i.e. not youtube videos) and the link to the A Thousand Words: Bloodline listing on IMDB cites an award winning film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1067088/awards) made by Tempered Zealot as well as links to 5 reviews (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1067088/externalreviews) of the movie itself from external (not self made) sites. There are several others as well that are not listed because they only list 5. There is another article to another paper that has expired in it's availability online. Tempered Zealot Productions has also been featured in the South Bend Tribune (http://www.southbendtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070826/Ent/708260508/1040/Ent) - (not local to the company's location of Columbus Ohio). Tempered Zealot movies have played in the UK, New Zealand, and several states in the United States as well as upcoming screenings on television in Maryland. All this information is available online between the sites I listed previously as well as on myspace pages such as www.myspace.com/atwbloodline - I guess I'm a little confused as to what is considered note worthy because as I said Tempered Zealot Productions has done much of the same stuff that Sonnyboo Productions has and others who are currently listed on this site, just in different places. With Tempered Zealot Productions being peers in the same community as afore mentioned parties it boggles me that there is this difficulty.
Again, I'm new to this Wiki thing and was barely given a chance to list all the things in my entry because I just don't know how and am learning. I wouldn't be fighting so hard if it were not for the fact I feel my head was cut off before I even got out of the gate. From my point of view all the things listed on the Sonnyboo entry are similar to the things Tempered Zealot has done. It just doesn't seem fair to allow one entry of that type and not others, especially given your own criteria and that of the site's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffrey Pastrelli (talk • contribs) 17:36, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I understand that there is a problem with directly uploading content from the corporate website. However, please understand that the website content is official and the correct source of information on any aspect of the company. We cannot upload articles on the company as that would not be official content.
We understand how significant Wikipedia is to the internet community and how popular it is as and we are very keen that M&M is well represented on your website

RE:Wikifascist
I like your reason for your deletion of the recently created site (not even half an hour ago!) by stating it was neologist.. I looked it up, and "a neologist is an innovator in the area of a doctrine or belief system, and is often considered heretical or subversive by the mainstream clergy or religious institution(s)." - So I guess that makes me a genius, and you one of the mainstream crowd laughing at my ideas.
It's apparently okay to delete all the sites you want (like you do), but when trying to add something new and enlighten people, then you get serious threats on your (internet-)life instead. Thanks a lot, (expletive). I ain't gonna add anything new and interesting here anymore, off to urban dictionary for that, this site is clearly only for minor insignificant edits. Thank you very much for your repeated deletion of the truth. You should be a politician. KnatLouie 21:45, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Chumbo Corp.
Hi NawlinWiki, Sorry you had to delete my entry for Chumbo so hastily. I'm still pretty new to Wikipedia and I confess I was creating the entry purely to demonstrate to a friend of mine how easy it was to do. With regard to whether the entry merits inclusion I for one feel that is does and I don't, nor have I ever worked there. But I have used their services. Chumbo was (is) one of the dotcom startups and has just celebrated it's 10th aniversary. Its chairman and co-founder is a namesake of Tim Burton the film director and so I guess a disabiguation page would be needed for his resume to be included. There are plently of entries for far less notable companies already in Wikipedia. Hopefully I have said enough for you to let the article stand if and when I create it more fully. I think that the lesson I have learned today is to write the article off-line or in the sand-box before saving my edit. --Bnewsom 22:15, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Madman C
Hello. My name is Dane Clark, but you probably know me better as Madman C.
First of all, I would like to inform you that I suffer from Asperger Syndrome. I am mildly autistic, and sometimes I can get obsessive-compulsive. I had known Liza Phillips since I was a child, and this whole experience has been very hard for me. I want you to know that I never actually meant to hurt anyone. Posting those things was just my way of relieving my anger and frustration. I thought that I would get away with it because those things usually get deleted right away, but I didn't think it would get this out of hand. I promise that I will never do anything like that ever again if you promise not to call the police. If I ever got arrested over this, it would absolutley devistate my mother. I don't think she'd be able to handle the stress if something like that happened. I am not a psychopath. I'm just a normal guy whose had a rough life. I make threats, but I never actually mean them.
I have tagged all the attack redirects you may have missed for speedy deletion, and I am also deleting all the YTMNDs I have made relating to the subject.

I checked and TripAdvisor has a page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tripadvisor) and on this basis I added a page about TravelGator (http://www.travelgator.com) which was subsequently deleted. The only reason provided was that the only external references were blogs. One of the references was Tim Hughes who writes BOOT is a noted expect in the travel space and is online press so I wouldn't categorize him as a simple blogger.

Regarding Hawaii Chappal
The article Hawaii Chappal has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article
Not sure why it was called blatant advertising when I am not gaining in anyway whatsoever with this article. I have no connections with Bata of India whatsoever. I live in New Zealand and am a computer network engineer.

- Yeah, that must be a different Datawatch. I was thinking of Datawatch Systems. Thanks for your response. Stayman Apple 11:50, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

I am trying to figure out why an article about Raylier Jewelry was deleted, and yet identical articles about Ice.com and BlueNile.com can still remain? I think this is not really fair. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Meldour (talk • contribs) 15:25, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Sockpuppet
I suspect Snrcrackles is a sockpuppet of Robobobatron as per edits. — jacĸrм (talk) 19:03, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
I would like to know why you started Ice records and why you continue to allow it to show on Wikipedia. I have posted nothing different from the Ice Records you started. I posted the information of the company I work for to add a link to the information which has been on your site for quite some time now)to the list of franchises. It is informational only. There is no contact information, marketing material or even a web site link to the company.
Why would Wiki allow USA BEST REALTY to appear under list of franchises and not allow a link to information? There are many companies under this heading of "Franchise List" which have links to pages -- in Wiki -- that are extremely informational and tend to lean towads advertising.
I just want the company I work for to be noticed as a real estate franchise the same way that Alphagraphics, Atlanta Bread, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.
Please reply or repost my submission.

The fact is I never heard of Ice Records. So is it notable? And, according to your comment, it's still falls under "business advertising" since it is a business.
You did not answer my question in regards to why Wiki allows some viable franchisors and disallows others. I m not asking for favorable attention. I am asking for the fair representation of my employer on Wikipedia.
The article I posted was within the scope of Business and Economic Wikiproject and I fee it should be posted. Otherwise you may as well delete EVERY article that falls under the list of franchises on Wikipedia.
I don't mean to be pointed (Ice Records) I am looking for equality (aren't we all?). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ariverawpb (talk • contribs) 20:50, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
I contacted Jimbo and questioned your actions. I feel that as a moderator you should consider all variables before using your power to remove. What I published was a simple, factual, tiny bit of information regarding an "extremely notable" company in whaich I am proud to represent. I would appreciate you resubmitting my earlier piece. Here is another reliable source expressing USA Best Realty as a "notable" company:

Sorry Nawlin both are independent sources that are industry specific magazines - and no, It's not "me". I feel your replies to me are not pertinent towards your duties as a moderator and that you are reacting "personally" towards my submission. Wikipedia is a community that relies on its users for submissions and when moderators start questioning the validity of its users (by asking questions such as "you?" -- specifcally -- Uh no. That's a franchise (you?)), it defeats the purpose.
Since you hold an important position on Wikipedia, please answer the question raised before as to why many of these companies under "list of franchises" have links to info pages and you will not allow a simple info page on USA Best Realty?
I will also post this reply and your latest comments to Jimbo.

Also, comments like "Good Luck" do not contribute to your professionalism. I say you review the laws of the moderator and act accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ariverawpb (talk • contribs) 04:17, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh by the way is calypsoarchives.co.uk (you)? -- not a very reliable source -- espescially not as reliable as RISMedia or Isucceed. Or better yet, is Ice Reords you?
An editor has asked for a deletion review of USA BEST REALTY. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Ariverawpb 04:32, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
A thank-you note

A Quote from Jimbo Wales' website
Wikipedia is based on a very radical idea, the realization of the dreams most of us have always had for what the Internet can and should become. Thousands of people, all over the world, from all cultures, working together in harmony to freely share clear, factual, unbiased information… a simple and pure desire to make the world a better place.
This is a radical strike at the heart of an increasingly shallow, proprietary and anti-intellectual culture. It is a radical strike at the assumption that the Internet has to be a place of hostile debate and flame wars. It is an appeal to the best within all of us.
Please follow his advise and stop debating the fact that the article I edited in reference to USA BEST REALTY is a simple factual statement.
